After reading this I was left utterly stumped as to why it’s so highly rated. Then skimming through the reviews shows that a lot of them come from people who received a free copy of the book to review. Honest reviews clearly weren’t happening here.

Usually I’ll bump a bad book that I finished to 3 ⭐️’s. My thought process is pretty much something kept me going so give the author some credit where credits due, but with all the false reviews on here I feel like this is deserving of 2 stars. Cause false reviews led me to this and now I’m annoyed that I wasted my time reading this book.

This book is riddled with problems.

1st, she’s always mentally talking poorly about her dead husband. But we never find out anything bad about the poor guy, except his wife clearly didn’t care for him. Which makes her seem pretty unlikeable.

2nd, there’s no chemistry between the two main characters. Like none at all. They just fuck and then he ignores her. This makes him pretty unlikable.

3rd, the whole pregnancy thing is hinted at way to early. He responsibly uses a condom the first couple times and then safety is never seen again. Any doofus could have seen that pregnancy coming a mile a way.

4th, inconsistent story. At one point he talks about how she slept in his bed last night. However the chapter before she says he’d stayed away for days. So which is it Ms author?

Then when she moves in with him he gives her a guest room. They continue to fuck but she sleeps in the guest room. How weird and lame.

5th, when she’s told not to talk to Trina she is told she can talk to three people. One is a receptionist so ok. One is a Dmitri his second in command ok. And the other is absurd. Why would she talk to Katya? A woman she met once at a party. Like did the author forget who here characters were?

6th, at the Russian party she acts like it’s all fancy and new and makes her nervous. Yet, that’s the same party her husband was murdered at so shouldn’t she kind of be familiar with the scene and the people?

7th, her parents were killed and their family company taken and she’s so indifferent about it all. Like you were rich and now your poor and scrapping by. Most people would find some care to throw around.

8th, her brother disappears then suddenly comes back. At his reappearance all this crazy dangerous stuff starts happening and she never suspects him. Like really!?!?

9th, the story runs on nonsense. Trina says that Vlad plans to take them all out to get power over the Volkov company and she believes her. How can a man with only five percent interest in a company, a company run by a bratva faction no less, take it over? Dumb, dumb, dumb. Like, yeah he doesn’t have heirs but he’s a bratva man in charge of a hierarchy. His second in command would take over.

10th, her brother Jack has money from their family but she’s got nothing.

11th, “He believes if he takes me out, he gets to his sister. Teresa inherits a slice of Volkov’s empire from her parents. Jack rides her name, maybe her guilt, tries to muscle into what’s left.” Umm, that makes no sense even if it is junky Jacks plan. If Teresa had money she wouldn’t have been living the way she was with so little in the bank. Plus Volkov hates her and blacklisted her and had her accounts frozen. Even if she was entitled to something she clearly isn’t getting it from that man. And Jack saw how she was living so he’d know this. What would happen is now that she’s pregnant she’s get a stake in Vlads money and business.

12th, when she escapes, Vlad asks himself why she left. Like dude maybe it’s because you haven’t told her you love her, maybe because she’s your baby mama and you have her sleeping in the guest room, maybe because you fuck her and shut down emotionally the next day… just saying but duh!

13th, Vlad saw the twin wolves tattoo and places is at Maxims murder. She sees the twin wolves and identifies them as Volkov symbol. If that’s true wouldn’t Vlad as part of the Russian syndicate know this? Is the author trying to paint him as stupid or did she herself just forget the plot with the twin wolves?

14th, “Because, sis, you’re in the way. When the old man dies, his company, and our parent’s, passes to you. But if you’re out of the picture…” He grins, a sick, joker’s grin, letting the words linger.” Umm hello logic, are you here? In what universe does a man who hates you leave you his business and fortune? Logic has left the book completely at this point. Even as the ex-daughter in law she would not be entitled to this man’s business and money. And even of she was entitled to the business and money he’s uber rich and she’s broke in the story so he could easily fight any legal standing she had.

The first couple of pages got me hooked only to find out it’s a daydream! it only gets better from there. The story progresses fast. I love the chemistry and banter between the two Main Characters. I just wanted them to get down to business asap frankly!!! At times the angst did drag a little, I found the FMC anxiety kind of annoying in a woe is me I’m helpless way. Overall though they worked together well. If you’re looking for something brainless to read, It great easy quick read if you like Mafia type strong women strong man angst, he will do anything for her type stories. Not a must but a pleasant one.
KC has an extensive backlist if you age gap, Mafia men, he takes care of you always, he falls first stories.

Vlad and Teresa have an undeniable chemistry. This is a hot fast paced drama mafia style. Allies are not real on the surface and things definitely change. The one thing that doesn’t change is the love they share for each other. The author does a great job explaining the plot and creating believable characters. I throughly enjoyed this book.

Oh KC you have done it again. Mafia romance full of stubborn, controlling, dangerous, over protective, over bearing, Pahkan, and our sweet, innocent, timid but sassy mouthed female.

This story was an interesting journey with so many turns I thought I was in a maze. The betrayal I never saw coming was crazy, the lust was off the charts hot and of course our new book boyfriend was more than a little morally gray but oh boy did I love ever minute of it.

Teresa was married to the son of another Bratva family. He was murdered at a gala and she was saved by our lethal and loving Bratva boss, Vlad.

The revenge, the betrayal, the violence, the spice. It was epic. This was shorter than some of her other books but it was soooo good.

Please keep in mind this is a mafia romance so it gets dark. Kidnapping, murder, torture is all present. So please stay away if this bothers you. It get graphic in some scenes.

For those of you, like me, that want it all. Check this book out. Or really any of KC Crowne’s books. They are amazing.

Vlad is intrigued by Teresa, she excites him and he vows to keep her safe from everyone especially the Volkov Bratva boss. Family drama at its finest especially knowing who you can trust. A whirlwind of emotions and a twist I didn’t see coming!

Talk about an emotional rollercoaster! This mafia age-gap romance had everything — tension, passion, and a twist that completely blindsided me at the end. The accidental pregnancy added another layer of intensity, making him even more protective (and possessive) of the woman he loves. He’s fierce and loyal to a fault, while she’s torn between her feelings and the manipulations surrounding her — and honestly, who wouldn’t be?

It’s a quick, addictive read that kept me hooked from start to finish. If you love protective heroes, emotional turmoil, and a story that keeps you guessing, this one’s for you!

The Naughty List is a book twenty-nine and part of the Silver Fox Daddies Series. This is a full-length standalone, Christmas, bratva boss, age-gap, romance. No cheating. HEA guaranteed. This is Vlad and Teresa story which is told from a dual point of view. A total page turner; the perfect mix of interesting characters, personal drama, loads of foul play and hidden secrets and agendas. OMG! This is a wonderfully written story with characters that are fierce, resilient, shrewd, protective, deadly, dangerous, passionate and powerful. The connection and their is very strong and do well done I love these two characters. The love story between Vlad and Teresa is so good. It's hot and sexy but it is so much more. An amazing plot that drew me in from the start and keeps me riveted and on the edge of my seat and turning the pages until the end. I love a good mafia romance and this is another good one to add to my collection. It hits all the boxes, murder galore, revenge, violence, enemies, hatred, betrayals, plot twists and so much steamy tension that it sizzles. A story driven by revenge because of a loss.
The story starts off with a bang with Maxim Volkov and Teresa Winslow who are husband and wife attending a Bratva gala when suddenly it was erupted into gunfire claiming the life of her husband. Valdimir Angeloff who is the pakhan and CEO of Angeloff Enterprises was also in attendance and saved Teresa's life from the same fate of her husband. She was devastated from the loss and to make matters even worse Maxim father Aleksander Volkov her former father-in-law turn enemy blames her for the loss of his son and wants vengeance. Teresa is a financial analyst and he has black-balled her everywhere around town. So not only is she a widow she's also unable to support herself with everything that her former father-in-law is throwing at her. Vlad feels need to protect her and hires her as his assistant. Vlad is a feared, cold, ruthless, calculated, cold-blooded and lethal silver-haired assassin devil who enjoys killing people. He commands killers like chess pieces.
Teresa is smart, resilient, brave and strong in the face of many tragedies; her parents, husband and her brother as come up missing then suddenly reappeared stating that Vlad was the one responsible for all her losses. She doesn't know who to believe because her brother saying that it was Vlad and Vlad saying that there's someone else out there in the shadows. Teresa thought that she was just Vladimir assistant until she found the list with names, dates, payments and every target scheduled for death before Christmas and was shocked to see that her name was at the bottom. It had been two years since the passing of her husband and her former father-in-law still wants her dead and will not stop until he gets that. They were attracted to each other and spent one passionate-filled night together which changed both of their lives. But Vlad know that he needed to stay away from her.
Teresa was the only hit that he couldn't go through. She was supposed to disappear until he made a deal with her life purchased with sin. Paid for in complete submission. He vows to keep her safe. But his protection comes with rules that he forces her to follow. But this is not protection it's possession and with every disobedience comes with darker punishments and the pleasure sharper. And beneath the mistletoe of his power she find herself begging for more. There's so much things going on in this story backstabbing, double-cross, treachery, bloodshed, attacks, fear, loyalty, power and control, obsession, possessiveness, kidnapping, consensual intense rough sex, dominance, submission, dirty talking, retaliation, acceptance, healing, heartbreak, broken alliance, dark secrets, spanking, darkness, madness, anger, angst, emotions, tension, longing, cravings, love and so much more.

This was a quick read with all the classic mafia romance tropes I love. The MMC is, of course, over-the-top protective, while the FMC isn’t exactly innocent—she’s a widow to another member of the Bratva.

The story opens with the murder of Teresa’s first husband at a gala. Vlad, the MMC, immediately feels protective of her and hires her as his PA. Things get dangerous fast when her late husband’s father blames her for his son’s death and adds her to the annual “Christmas hit list.”

There’s plenty of intrigue and betrayal—Teresa’s family and friends manipulate her constantly, leading to one very bad decision that puts her life on the line. I honestly wanted to shake her through my Kindle for trusting her addict brother and confiding in a “friend” who just happens to be the niece of the man who wants her dead.

All in all, this is a solid age-gap, mafia dark romance that delivers on danger, loyalty, and a possessive hero who will burn the world for his woman.

This was such a gripping and twisty mafia romance, and I had a lot of fun unraveling every shocking betrayal and scorching moment of tension. Teresa’s life collapses in a single night when her husband is murdered at a gala, and I was instantly pulled into the danger surrounding her. I really liked how fierce, intelligent, and resilient she is, even when her former father-in-law blames her and destroys her career.

Vladimir, the cold and lethal Bratva boss who saves her life, is the perfect morally gray hero. Their chemistry is explosive from the start, and the line between protection and possession becomes deliciously blurred. The story is packed with danger, secrets, revenge, and dark passion, and each twist kept me turning pages. I really liked how the emotional connection grows beneath all the violence and heat, showing both vulnerability and power.

The dynamic between them is intense, consuming, and impossible to look away from. Teresa’s strength and Vladimir’s ruthless devotion make their romance unforgettable. This book delivers everything a good mafia romance should have: danger, loyalty, obsession, forbidden desire, high stakes, and a love that refuses to break.

Her parents were killed in a plane crash and her brother disappeared all within months of each other. Vlad was the only person willing to help, hiring her as his personal assistant. 3 years later and Aleksander Volkov hates that Teresa works for Vlad and puts her name on the “Naughty List” which is a contract list that the Angels of Death have to honor since it comes from a head of the Bratva families. The attraction between Teresa and Vlad has been building and he asks his #2 Dimitri to find a loop hole that will take her name off the list. Knowing who to trust in the Bratva world isn’t easy and betrayal is a danger always. Vlad and Teresa have a lot forces trying to keep them apart and this story takes you on a twist filled adventure that will have you on the edge of your seat.

The story started off with a bang…literally! I was hooked from the very beginning in this tale of murder, revenge, romance, betrayal, and love. It’s a fascinating combination and one that is experienced by both main characters, Vlad and Teresa. Vlad is a cold-hearted Bratva head who doesn’t flinch when he kills people yet falls completely in love with Teresa. Her first husband was murdered at a Bratva gala that Vlad attended, and he saved her life by protecting her. Her father-in-law blamed her for his son’s death, even though she had nothing to do with it. A couple of months later, she finds that she has been added to his “naughty list” of people he wants killed and Vlad must complete the list.

The drama deepens as Vlad vows to keep her safe. There are many attempts on her life and on Vlad’s, as he is her protector. Teresa faces the ultimate betrayal (I won’t tell from whom!) and it was shocking. This is a terrific book that kept me on the edge of my seat and led to a sleepless night. I had to keep reading until I got to the end.

Unfortunately this one didn’t hit the mark for me. I don’t feel like the story flowed naturally, and felt very insta lust. Almost what you’d expect from a novella, but this was a full size novel. This is only my second read from K.C. It won’t hinder me from trying others, I just think this specific one wasn’t for me.

From the very first page, "The Naughty List" pulled me into an enthralling and intricate narrative, a journey filled with unexpected twists and turns that left me feeling delightfully lost in a captivating maze of emotions and suspense. The story's exploration of complex relationships was particularly compelling, with the betrayal scenes being both shocking and incredibly intense, creating a palpable sense of drama. Honestly, I devoured every single page and loved every single minute spent immersed in this fantastic read!.

The Naughty List pulls you in from the very first page, opening with an emotional backdrop that sets the tone for the darker Bratva world. In this ecosystem where code often overrides conscience, Vlad and Teresa’s connection stands out as its own slow burn. Their chemistry is undeniable, and the spice is plentiful, but what really kept me turning the pages was the way they learned to trust each other, name their feelings, and navigate the dangers surrounding them.

There’s a solid balance of tension, heat, and emotional depth that makes the story compelling. My only note is that, while the plot is captivating, it reads longer than its under-300-page count. Still, the journey is worth it, especially if you enjoy romance that blends danger with vulnerability.

A great pick for readers who love age-gap tension, Bratva stakes, and couples who fight for their connection.

Terrace watched her husband gunned down at a gala. Was terrified that her former father in law hated her and blamed her for his son's death. Was grateful Vladimir gave her a job even as everyone else blacklisted her. She was worried about her brother when he disappeared after the death of their parents. She didn't trust his sudden reappearance. He came with tales of Vladimir being behind their parents and her husband's deaths. Who to believe? Vlad pointing towards a mystery person or her brother pointing at Vlad? And her husband's cousin pointing at Vlad.
So many plot twists and turns. It will keep you guessing up until the end. Just because you think you have it figured out, don't be so sure! The finale may just shock you. Everyone is not as good or bad as they seem.

After Vlad saves Teresa at a gala when her husband is killed she is thrown into a spin due to her father in law blaming her for his death. Somehow she manages to start fresh on her own and avoid getting killed, by a stroke of luck she gets a job working for Vlad and eventually becomes his assistant. The two have a passionate night that sets a relationship into motion between them. Vlad quickly figures out the danger Teresa is in from her former father in law and tries to make sure she’s protected while attempting to keep distance even though he already knows he’s fallling for her. At the same time she’s fighting her feelings as well to protect herself. Lots of twists and turns I didn’t see coming but I enjoyed the book a lot.

Her husband was shot and killed right in front of her, and her father in law decided she was to blame. Blacklisting her everywhere, she had no choice but to go to work for the feared bratva leader. For over a year she has kept her life quiet, working and trying to build some sort of a life. He has been protecting her, keeping watch over her, keeping her close. When danger crops up, he is ready to claim her to keep her safe. This is a mafia drama, there is a romance aspect but this has a large mafia drama arc that runs through the story. I enjoyed the main characters but would have liked more focus on them. I felt like you got more of her story than his and I would have liked more relationship building. There is spice and drama and a happily ever after.

I read anywhere from 2 to 4 books a week and while most of them are very good, they seldom capture my attention quickly like this story did. Right out of the gate, the suspense had me hooked. I loved Teresa‘s strong character. She’s someone to be admired. She’s business brilliant, independent and stubborn. However she’s alone in NYC with a target on her back and black listed by the mafia, struggling to survive. Equally I loved Vladimir; a CEO Russian hitman with a conscience. I’m drawn to controlling, arrogant and obsessive book alpha‘s. And this guy was controlling to the nines. This author paints the dramatic suspense with dark brushstrokes. The danger is real…the suspense felt with immediate emotion. The twists kept me guessing. I was reading this book while simultaneously holding my breath…waiting to exhale. It was just that good.

Damsel in Distress to Formidable Force -
This is a captivating romance story with characters who navigate the unexpected twists, family betrayals, violence, secrets and painful moments in their journey towards a happily ever after. The story drew me in from the beginning and kept me totally engrossed, as I found myself at the edge of my seat eagerly turning the pages. If you are looking for a spellbinding book that intrigues your mind and leaves you unable to put it down once you start reading it, then this is the book for you, so grab a copy of this book now and you definitely won’t be disappointed. The Naughty List is part of the Silver Fox Daddy series. It is a well-written age gap story.

Teresa becomes a widow after her husband is shot at a gala. Her former father-in-law is now blaming her for his death. She gets a job as Vladimir's assistant. They have so much chemistry. Vlad finds out that she is in danger and keeps her protected. He tries to distance himself from her but it is a terrible attempt since he is falling for her.

I loved the chemistry between Teresa and Vlad. I loved how protective he was for her. Their story is full of twists and suspense you will not see coming. Very entertaining.

The author, Ms. Crowne one of my favorite’s, has given us an older man/younger woman story that immerses us in the journey of Vlad and Teresa it is such a great addition to the "Silver Fox Daddies" series. It Grabs ahold and does not let go until you get to the end and you heave that heavy sigh and say “whoa, good book!” The story keeps us turning pages as fast as we can absorb the words. A story with hot characters, a sassy extremely strong willed and stubborn female, off the charts Red Hot Steamy chemistry with pages full of anger, danger, angst, anxiety, romance, kidnapping, mafia justice, betrayal. Amazing

Just wow, did you find out what the naughty list really is. Vladimir is someone that you just really love, even knowing what he does for a living. Teresa is an amazing woman with a target on her back. Vlad is doing everything he can to keep her safe, what he hadn’t planned was falling in love. This book was exciting, steamy, and hold your breath because there is some shocking secrets that come out. You have to read this book to find out how Vlad and Teresa make it through a war among the Bratva, and how Teresa plays a bigger role than she thinks. The ending is absolutely amazing and secondary characters play such a huge role in this book. Characters you love to hate. The ending is a surprise, and sometimes an old man can change.

In this book we meet Teresa Winslow & Vladimir Angeloff. When this book opens we find that Teresa is under attack in a nightclub with her husband. The problem is on of those stray bullets ends up killing him. Others around her believe this is all her fault and won't let her live it down. Vladimir has given her a chance and is willing to determine what really happened that night. Others have tried to stop him since they believe he has found the person right in his own company. Can they find a HEA or will others do anything to make sure that never happens?

Another amazing story by this author. I would highly recommend it to anyone.

Dangerous Exciting Love

Teresa and Vlad make up the most beautiful love story. Vlad is her Russian protector she didn’t realize she needed. She’s still mourning
Her husbands death at the hands of an unknown enemy. Vlad is falling in love with Teresa at an alarming rate as she is with him. He gives her a job when her father in law black lists her in every financial sector. Her parents were murdered and it seems she’s next but Vlad will burn down the planet before he allows that to happen. This book is very well written and the twists and turns will have your head spinning. Betrayal, anger, war within the Russian empires will keep you at the edge of your seat. HEA. Happy Reading!!!
