Rate this book
She was never supposed to exist. But she is the perfect weapon. Too bad she has a mind of her own.

Born of forbidden blood, Destiny is an anomaly the councils never saw coming. She’s a forbidden mixed-breed. A witch with vampire strength, a vampire with raw, untamed magic. Hunted from the moment she was born, her family was slaughtered for the crime of her existence.

After getting her revenge, she only wants to live a normal and peaceful life. But she was never normal.

When the councils awaken Dorian, a sealed vampire older than memory and twice as dangerous, everything changes. He was supposed to kill her. Instead, the bond between them ignites something uncontrollable—a primal, aching pull neither of them can deny.

As the Witch and Vampire Councils prepare to unleash their terrifying plan, Destiny and Dorian find themselves caught in a twisted war between power, blood, and love. In a world where loyalty is a weapon and desire is deadly, she’ll have to

Will she become their greatest weapon…

Or the storm that burns everything to ash?

ARC REVIEW

I was definitely drawn into this book right from the beginning. I enjoyed the characters and the plot very much.
Destiny is a half witch/ half vampire whose family was murdered right in front of her. She got her revenge on the people who committed the murder. She wanted to live a normal life but both the councils kept sending people after her.
Dorian a very old vampire who was awoken to kill Destiny because the council was scared of her.
There was so much action, danger and some falling in love that kept you wanting to read this book.

An Introspective Look at Agency, Trauma, and Supernatural Biology

This was an impressive blend of world-building and character study. The author tackles the "Nature vs. Nurture" theme head-on through Destiny’s fear of her own power. I particularly enjoyed the political maneuvering of the Councils—seeing Witches and Vampires set aside their hatred just to eliminate a "biological anomaly" felt very grounded and realistic.

What I loved:
1. The Magic System: The blend of telekinesis and vampire strength feels tactile and earned.
2. The Conflict: Dorian’s choice to Turn Destiny against her will to save her life is such a juicy, moral gray area. It sets up a complex dynamic for the next book.
3. The Antagonist: Lysander and his "Order of the Cleansing Flame" provide a genuine threat that feels larger than just a personal vendetta.

*This story is a dream for fans of supernatural lore. While I don’t always reach for fantasy, the hybrid/council politics felt so familiar in the best way—reminiscent of the power struggles in The Vampire Diaries. The betrayal by a close friend and the "ancient vampire awakened for a hit job" plot kept the stakes feeling personal rather than just world-ending. The cliffhanger is brutal, but the chemistry between the leads makes it worth the stress!*

Note: The cliffhanger is intense! Be prepared to want the next book immediately.

This is book one of the Twisted Fates trilogy. It starts right off with the action and continues through the book. From the start of the book, you are drawn in and can’t put it down. This book has a strong, well-developed and an interesting story line with twists and unexpected turns that keep you reading and turning the pages. It pulled me in from beginning to end and held my attention. Amazing world building that is detailed and imaginative. There are strong, interesting, and fascinating characters. I am voluntarily posting an honest review after reading an Advance Reader Copy of this story.

Absolutely amazing. I loved this book. The world building was phenomenal. The description plays out in your head like a movie. And the characters, just wow.i was total immersed in this book. From page one I wasn’t about to just close this and not finish. It grips you and holds on to you until the end. And even then you’re letting wanting more. You need more. I’m demanding more lol.
This book was intense with danger and action like no other. The chaos was just, I have no words. This was an amazing book.

I never do this to authors and this is a first for me. In my opinion, this book is not ready to be published. It needs to be looked at by the author and sent to an editor. The story overall, is okay. I felt myself skimming over parts to get to the good stuff. I would have rated it 3 stars if I didn't find so many errors.
