Lust, deception, and betrayal...Cameron Patterson's entire life changes when her husband is chosen to run a multi-million dollar car theft ring. Playing the devoted role of wifey, she's forced to watch his once good-guy character diminish with his new sense of power. As much as Cameron doesn't want to admit it, she knows she's losing him to the business. If life isn't complicated enough, things really gets messy when she finds herself trapped in a deadly love triangle. Will this power couple be able to survive through it all? Or will lies and deceit destroy everything they worked so hard to build?
Jade Jones discovered her passion for creative writing in elementary school. Born in 1989, she began writing short stories and poetry as an outlet. Later on, as a teen, she led a troubled life which later resulted in her becoming a ward of the court. Jade fell in love with the art and used storytelling as a means of venting during her tumultuous times.
Aging out of the system two years later, she was thrust into the dismal world of homelessness. Desperate, and with limited income, Jade began dancing full time at the tender age of eighteen. It wasn't until Fall of 2008 when she finally caught her break after being accepted into Cleveland State University. There, Jade lived on campus and majored in Film and Television. Now, six years later, she flourishes from her childhood dream of becoming a bestselling author. Since then she has written the best-selling "Cameron" series.
Quite suitably, she uses her life's experiences to create captivating characters and story lines. Jade currently resides in Atlanta, Georgia. With no children, she spends her leisure shopping and traveling. She says that seeing new faces, meeting new people, and experiencing diverse cultures fuels her creativity. The stories are generated in her heart, the craft is practiced in her mind, and she expresses her passion through ink.
Although it had been a while since I've read part 1, I was able to remember the characters quite well. Jude showed his true colors - his selfishness & cruel behavior in part 2 of Uncovered Secrets was unleashed! Cameron seems to have matured a bit but still naive...I was surprised at Jag's behavior....this prequel to Cameron 6 was full of drama!Good short read
How is Jude going out like that. He and Essences was so wrong. They both new Jude was married now you go and try and kill the girl. I don’t like women like Essences tho, because first of all, if he couldn’t be tru to his vowels with his wife, what makes her think he would do any better with her? Like blow the air out of your head hunny. A baby will definitely not keep and man that don’t want to be kept. Now Cam, you’re a strong women, let that man go but don’t let him go to fuck with one of his workers. I know the chemistry is there but that’s a line you don’t cross. Jude is so wrong and allowed his drug habit to cloud his judgment, I hate when men don’t take accountability. He killed this mans mom kidnapped his little piece of ass and snatched up his sister because he wasn’t doing what he should have been at home and now see that the next man cherishing what he should have all along. Smh I need to see what’s about to happen next because Jude is reaching.
... this sequel started exactly where it was left off. Jude let the fame and status, get the best of him, and his duties as a husband and father wasn't important. Jude's protégé, Jag, was more involved in Jude's family, than Jude, and it forced Cameron to run into the arms of Jag. It took Jude to finally almost loose everything to realize what he had, and blood had to be shed to try to correct his wrongdoings. You definitely don't be disappointed in this short teaser, that's filled with lies, betrayal, and deceit.
This was an okay read. It’s more of a side series, giving small glimpses and extra insight into the main storyline. Instead of standing alone, it drops little hints about what’s coming next in the original series. It’s a nice bonus for fans, but it doesn’t pack the same punch on its own.
I love this series Jade Jones knows how to put it down when it comes to writing Jude is in for a rude awakening Cameron is stuck& don't know what to do Jag is emotional& don't know who is out to harm him this is so good

this the part two to the novella in between the cameron series and i would say that both parts give but this book is more required reading than the first if you’re only gonna want to read one of the two.
I knew that Essence thing was going to blow up in Jude's face. That girl was just dumb. Jude and Cam are such hypocrites they both claim to love each other yet they can't seem to stay faithful physically and mentally. Then they have to nerve to be posed off at the other when they are doing or have five the exact same thing. I mean hello I'd you kept it at home were out belonged they would be so much less headache. Defiantly makes for a good read though. That ending was something else. I feel for Jag that man just can't win for nothing. He has both Jude and Zeus gunning for his head. Ironically both because of Cam one way or another and he ain't even really get with the girl. It's not looking good for him unfortunately. Can't wait for the next one to cone or hopefully he can avenge the deaths of his loved ones.
This little snippet ended way too fast just when things were just starting to heat up. Here we have Cameron trying to hold on to her marriage as Jude works non-stop on building and maintaining his lucrative empire. As Jude spends all these long hours working, Cameron begins to feel neglected and doubt Jude' s fidelity. Should Cameron fight for her man and marriage or will Jude actions thrust her back in Jag's arms? Well read and find what Cameron will do and just what Jude is capable of. Please don't wait too long to release the third part.
Wow, couldn't put this book down at all lol. So as I thought things got sticky with the side piece ha! But pregnant tho? C'mon Jude really?! Now I'm all for Jag and Cam. Jude is moving way too dirty I can't even believe he would do all that to Jag and even Essence smh! Great way to lead into book 6!

Omg!!! That ending had me on edge! I really am not feeling Essence anymore! At first I sympathized a bit with her but ugh! Yeah no! Not a fan lol! & Jude is just as bad...money has certainly changed him. He's so cold blooded! Cam is so naive in ways, I have to remind myself she's only 21! There's so much action, I can't take it lol!
