Marguerite Baccata intends to do big things as the first female businesswoman at Baccata Industries. So when her father suggests her best contribution will be in marrying a Floral Realms prince, she's appalled. And furious, because he's right – a royal wedding is a coup for the company. This was really lovely. I got this book from an itch.io bundle. I haven't read the first one in the series. You don't need to (kinda), but I guess it's better.
The characters were lovely. I loved Lucien (can I bottle him and carry him around, thank you.).
The book is quite short, which is a change because it also has nice worldbuilding with magic, realms, princes...etc...
A great escape from reality.
No spice on page. The book is recommended for ages 15 and up.
