A concise, insightful and an outcome-driven book highlighting the need for India to focus on the Civil Military Fusion (CMF). The book emphasizes on harnessing the CMF for rapidly building capabilities across sectors in India, particularly for the national security.

It takes the civil military relations debate away from its old, traditional arena of protocol and equivalence to the increasing utility of CMF in fostering technology development and enhancing military power. It contains some very useful examples from the China and the U.S. on optimizing CMF for technological advancements.

The author argues for foresight while dissolving the silos as long as there is strategic productivity. Impactful and prescient.

A short, sweet and Crisp read on the inescapable requirement of civil military fusion that a country needs in present times, to strengthen its national security framework. Author with apt examples brings out how well China understood this concept and have emerged ahead of others in terms of Civil military fusion. Further, author beautifully describes way ahead for our nation to improve the Civil Military Fusion, particularly in the fields of AI, Chips and Micro Electronics, thereby speeding up our rise as a powerful country capable of dealing with all the security threats that persists… A must read for all of us and kudos to Gen Shukla for bringing out this often neglected aspect in a precise and meticulous manner through this masterpiece…..
