Okey, voy a admitir que no me esperaba NADA de este libro y ese título, y lo obtuve todo.
De verdad, drama, bratva, romance, enemigos, traiciones, lo tenía todo en un nivel perfecto. Desde el principio te engancha, y te va dando momentos de estrés durante el libro que quieres saber que más va a pasar. Tiene una vibra muy de la bella y la bestia, incluso lo mencionan en el libro. Y muchas referencias a la literatura rusa 🤌🏼

Eva is a young woman trying to keep her emotionally absent father and 3 siblings afloat with no help. She’s trying to maintain a business the house finances and keep her siblings in school alone and is overwhelmed, her father living in depression and dumping his responsibilities onto Eva. They are about to lose it all so she hacks the Russian bratva to try and blackmail them into not taking her dad’s bookstore that’s behind in rent. She gets caught by evgeny the pakhan and instead of killing her he forces her to live at his estate and work for him under guard. She’s scared to death but fiery and feisty and stands her ground explaining it wasn’t to cause harm just to save her family. But he isn’t trusting her plus he is drawn to her against his will. and very quickly they end up having sexual encounters which complicates things. Vasya his brother in spirit tries to warn her away but it’s too late. Evgeny is badly scarred from a fire and can’t believe Eva sees him and not his scars and touches him without disgust. This leads to deeper desires and feelings he doesn’t know how to process. Meanwhile her brother keeps getting into trouble with rival bratva that evgeny is fighting with and Eva can’t get him to stop which leads to more trouble. A traitor is giving info to rivals and his men are dying and Eva discovers a secret she doesn’t share. When tragedy strikes Eva blames evgeny out of fear and grief and runs from him. Several months later when near tragedy strikes again they are reunited and explosive details are revealed leading to multiple events happening, plot twists, emotional turmoil and more.
Evgeny must reconcile how he feels and find the truth for Eva which dealing with the outcome of secrets revealed. The traitor keeps striking and evgeny can’t believe it might be someone closer than he thinks.
Great world building, full characters well written.

Paying More than Expected -
When Eva was rescued by the gorgeous mountain man in the club, she thought it would be the last time she saw him, but she found herself in his clutches after an an she took brought him to her door. Evgeny usually dealt with people who caused trouble for him swiftly, but he felt a connection with Eva from the moment they met, that made him change his usual tactics. Eva expected the worst to happen to her when she was taken, but instead she found herself spending time with Evgeny, which brought them closer and led to them enjoying mind blowing steamy sessions.
However, neither Eva nor Evgeny had the courage to define their relationship, that is until his life was in danger and she put her life on hold to stay by his side until he recovered. Unfortunately, not long after Eva received life changing news, disaster struck in her family and her grief led to a blaming Evgeny and breaking up with him. Even though Evgeny and Eva were trying to go on with their daily lives, neither one of them was happy, so it took a third party getting involved and clearing up the misunderstanding for them.
Nevertheless, not long after Evgeny and Eva rekindled their relationship, they were forced to fight for their lives to ensure they could have the happily ever after they wanted. OMG! This was a spellbinding action-packed romance story filled with passion, betrayal, violence, angst, suspense and family drama, that had me eagerly turning the pages, whilst I was on tenterhooks waiting to see how the story would end. The characters came alive on the pages, as the story drew me in and had me totally engrossed from the beginning until the end. This is a definite must read book.

5 STARS +++ Betrayal at it’s worse.
I loved Eva and felt so sorry for her. She was the workhorse for her family. With her mom dead, Eva had to become everything to her “depressed” (lazy) father, her little sister, Katie, and two brothers, Marco and Jordan, with Jordan always in trouble. The family is mostly awful to Eva.
Trying to solve another impending crisis, Eva hacks into Bratva files. The family bookstore is behind on rent payments ‘to the mob’… and Jordan owes money ‘to the mob’. The mob wants payment or blood. When Eva the hacker is found, Evgeny, the head of the Kucherov Bratva, takes her in to work for them until she’s no longer of use.
Evgeny Kucherov is a sad man. He is all work for the Bratva. His youth was so tragic that it left him with mental and physical scars. He’s not sure why he brought Eva in when he should have just ended her. There’s just some connection…and it continues to grow. Over time, Evgeny gets dragged into Eva’s family problems. He sees what kind of life she has, and their connection grows.
The Kucherov Bratva is being picked off…another Bratva family is trying to take over…could there be an insider working to overthrow Evgeny? I was on pins and needles reading all the action and betrayal scenes. I was completely shocked to discover who could stoop so low. Eva and Evgeny become partners, lovers, a family. I loved this story. The ending was very happy, but it took lots of sadness to get there. Linda

Eva and Evgeny are wonderful! I loved the story from the start and could hardly put it down! The twists kept me guessing and the turns kept me up late.
Eva takes care of her family after her mother's passing. She is essentially the glue, mother, maid, and keeper of the family. Evgeny is the hardened pakhan that doesn't let anyone close to him. Until Eva.
From the moment they met you could feel the tension building between them. I loved how the author wove the tale and paid homage to the classic Beauty and the Beast without being overwhelming with it. There's the necessary library scene, the scars, the dichotomy between her softness and his fierceness that all create that classic fairy tale feel. But it's set against the gritty Los Angeles skyline filled with the dangers of the Russian mafia. I especially appreciated the hat tips to actual Russian fairy tales and culture.
All told, I'd definitely suggest this book to a friend!.

Well rounded
This one was well rounded in everything that counts. The copy, editing, and development demonstrated the hard work from the author. This was not your cut and paste cliché type.
There were 3 reasons I didn't rate this at 5.
- The intimate scenes were glazed over because the writing style switched to 'tell.'
The author was telling us what was happening instead of 'showing.'
-The narrative was too stretched out towards the latter half of the book. Their was too much reiterating on behalf of the characters. It dragged when it didn't need to. This space would have been better filled with Eva and Alona interactions or interactions between Dimitri and Vasya. Even moments between Evgeny and Marco or Jordan could have filled in nicely. Miss opportunities.
-The relationship between Vasya and Evgeny. It was missing a scene in which the men fight side by side to demonstrate their unity as brothers. That brotherly bond was found stronger between Evgeny and Dimitri.
I understand the difficulty of swinging this for the writer.

Eva and Evgeny's relationship starts off as enemies and end up being each other's happily ever after. This is an interesting retelling of the fairy tale with heartache, jealousy, revenge with love, respect and a few twists that you won't see coming.
Mafia romances, Russian or otherwise aren't my favorite trope, but I'm a fan of this author and wanted to see her spin on it. She does not disappoint. You will love the characters you are supposed to, get frustrated when warranted, become angry and crushed with the reality of some characters actions and relieved and satisfied with the happy ending.
My favorite part is Eva and Evgeny's transition from enemies to lovers is quick, but it is the transition from lovers to soulmates that really got to my heart. I believe all romantics will enjoy this book.

Bound by Debt is a very suspenseful and emotional story. I absolutely devoured it. I enjoyed the characters and the writing.
Eva is out at a club when her brother gets into trouble. He is constantly in trouble and she is always watching out for him. She gets knocked down and is rescued by a man that she thinks she will never see again. They meet again after the people that work for Evgeny bring her in. She has been hacking into their system to get information. Instead of dealing with her as he normally does he brings her into his home to work for him. She is very good at what she does.
Eva and Evgeny have immediate chemistry. He is fighting his feelings for her and he doesn't want her to get involved in his life. Their story is very suspenseful. There is a twist that I never saw coming. If you enjoy mafia romance you will love their story. Highly recommended.

What an amazing addition to the Sinful Mafia Daddies Series where Evgency comes across a beautiful woman, Eva in his club who’s been hurt in a fight and he surprises Eva with his gentleness and being a gentleman. When he discovers who’s been trying to track him, Eva unknowingly becomes his enemy and taken the very next day! Being a beast towards Eva she closes herself off to her feelings toward Evgeny believing she’ll never be released. Being the Russian Pakhan Evgeny has power and enemies so when trouble comes his way requires Eva’s help him earning her some freedoms. Their fairy tale journey will show how they deal with unexpected revenge, heartache, disappointed family, intense feelings and a love worth fighting for at all cost. Eva's out at a club when she sees her brother getting into trouble again. She gets knocked down and a giant of a man helps her up and treats her with first aid. Evgeny is the giant that helped her and he is also the man she hacked. Ev finds her and takes to his home to work for him. Sparks fly between them even as they fight it. Its not long before something grows between them. However, someone is working against Ev and this put Eva in their crosshairs. Will they find the threat in time? Can they find a way to be together?
This is a great story that will captivate you from beginning to end. This is a well written and very entertaining story. Its a book that any book lover would enjoy.

Can you say Insta-STUPID
1. She goes into a nightclub to rescue her brother and 2 seconds after finding him, she instead wanders off with a random man to his back office to get a band-aid. Then after deciding she doesn't have a concussion, he takes her outside + puts her in a cab.
2. She not only leaves WITHOUT her brother which I thought was the whole purpose of her going there but she tells him she lives at home with her siblings so they can't hook up.
3. Then she coincidentally is the exact hacker he was looking for and yet is poor but somehow is an amazing hacker???
4. Then he tells her she has to come with him and she's like okay. and then 2 seconds later, she's like - you can't keep me here!

DNF 20% - May re-read later
I’ve been on this Beauty and the Beast retelling. Honestly, KU is full of them, but as much as I wanted to enjoy this one I just can’t find the interest to read it.
I’ve read several of Ms. Blacks books, but I can’t finish this one. The premise is good, but the execution is predictable and sort of all over the place. I knew who was behind all the trouble within two paragraphs of the character being introduced (I looked ahead before writing the review to verify).
I don’t think it’s a bad book so I’m giving it 3 stars based on what I read, it just couldn’t keep my interest.

4.5 stars! Evgeny Kucherov is the pakhan of his families bratva. When he learns, someone is trying to learn his bratva secrets and hacking into their systems, he knows it must stop. Little did he know Eva was the hacker and that her father owes a big debt. He strikes a deal with her to work for him, and he will let her father live. Little did she know what she was getting into and that he would soon own her body and soul. This was a good mafia romance with a bit of everything to keep you reading.

Once I started this book I had trouble putting it down. This book is about a young woman taking care of her family after the mother dies and meets Evgeny , the pakhan of a mafia family when she goes into a club to try and protect her family.
This is a wonderful story of a classic Beauty and the beast due to Evgeny being scarred when he was young trying to save his mother from a fire that left him disfigured.

After the death of her mother, Eva has put her family first, so when she finds out about her father's debt, she's determined to find a way out. Hacking the Bratva's system, she gets caught, and Evgeny, the Don of the Bratva, makes her an offer she can't refuse. These two have an intense chemistry that makes this a captivating read. Bound by debt is another action-packed drama that had me all caught up in Eva and Evgeny. It starts with him coming to her aid in the club never expecting to see him again so imagine her surprise on their next encounter along with the outcome. This story is filled with dangerous twists and turns that are exciting and had me cheering on Eva and Evgeny to happiness.

Wonderful action packed mafia romantic suspense. The characters are excellent as is the storyline. Eva tries to rescue her you get brother but runs into Evengy who is head of the local Mafia. She becomes his captive and danger ensues. I enjoyed this book and look forward to reading more books by Ms Black.

Stop your scrolling and start reading this amazing well written book by Natasha. Holy smokes can this author write one heck of a book right here. The suspense alone will have your heart racing so when you add in the romance between Eva and Evgeny it just sped up even more. This mafia read is a real page turner.

Loved reading the amazing and awesome Bratva romance story. When Eva is caught hacking into the Bratva, Evgeny, the mafia leader takes Eva. Read the highly recommended, wonderfully written, full of mystery and intrigue, and another must read riveting story by the fabulous author, Natasha L. Black.

Evgeny is probably the worst bratva leader in the history of bratva romances. He didn’t warn his men of the danger. It took him FOREVER to ask the person who could provide info… and ugh the plot development was just a mess.

I enjoyed this Mafia romance. The plot had a good combination of action and romance. It did not take long for the sparks to fly and I liked both the MMC Evgeny and the FMC Eva. There were a few instances where I was like that was not very Mafia Pakhan like so it threw the vibe a little, but that can be a delicate line to walk as an author. I will read more from this author.

Loved reading Bound By Debt, it was so good I was sucked in and couldn’t put it down. This book was an intense story full of revenge, lies, betrayal, emotional and love. The chemistry between Eva and Evgeny was super HOT and was beautifully done, loved the ending!!

What a great read. I think this is the best book of the series.
I love how Evgeny is such a demon and Eva only sees the man and not the beast.

pretty good story
I enjoyed this story more than I thought I would. Eva was a strong passionate character and paired up with a hot Mafia boss things got sizzling hot. Great story that kept you reading .
