Forever with Me is the book in Armentrout’s ‘Wait for You’ series I was most anxious to read. This is Nick’s book. The bartender we’ve met in the other books, and Stephanie’s. I love that she put this couple together. Both are known for their no-relationships/only one night stands status, so I was curious to see how their story would turn out. It was so much more emotional than I expected. I cried in this book. Real tears, not just tearing up. It may have been that the subject matter was delicate for me, but I seriously had a mini-breakdown on the way to work in my car listening to the audio. It was so very heartbreaking at times.

Nick and Steph were so much more than I expected. I was interested to read their story, but I didn’t think that I would love it or them as much as I did. I was especially impressed with Stephanie. She hasn’t been shown in the best light in some of the other books, but she’s one of my favorite heroines of the series. She was fun and feisty, had a take no crap attitude, but she also had a big heart. Nick was also great. Learning about his past and seeing the way he handled his heartbreak made me love him more.
"Tell me that you still want to be here.
Tell me that you still se a future for us.
Tell me that you love me.”

I don’t really feel like I can review this story properly. Anything I say about the plot could definitely be spoiler-ish and this is one you want to read without those hints. I think had I known was was going on, it wouldn’t have been as powerful. I love Armentrout’s writing and this series. This book had a little less mystery/drama than the last few but it didn’t need it. It had so many other things going on I think it would have been overkill. I enjoyed this one lots, even if it did make me cry like a baby. I can’t wait for the next book in this series (BROCK!) and I love the way his story has been set up! If you’re looking for an emotional yet sweet and sexy read, this is one you’ll want to pick up!

Title: Forever With You
Series: Wait For You #5
Author: Jennifer L Armentrout
Release Date: September 29, 2015
Rating: 4 stars
Cliffhanger:. No
HEA:

It’s no secret that I adore most of the books Jennifer L Armentrout’s written. They are seductive, sexy and full of charm. Definite New Adult must reads! It’s just so hard not to fall hard for those stories… But Forever With You turned out to be more than just cute, sweet and sexy. It was, in my opinion, one of the most emotional and touching stories Jennifer L Armentrout has ever written. It was just so soul wrecking and beautiful. My heart was literally ripped out and there was a moment when I actually cried those sad, silent tears. I couldn’t calm myself down.

If you’ve read previous books in Armentrout’s Wait For You series, you probably remember Stephanie and Nick – two characters we got to meet through other people’s eyes. And yeah, Stephanie was not showed in the best light then, as well as Nick. Both of them prefer one night stands than relationships, hook ups being their usual thing and so on. And when in Forever With You they finally share one passionate night their lives take on a new turn.

“It’s her. The one you’re going to fall for and fall hard. Oh, boy, you have so met your match. Totally.”

I won’t be going into many details. I don’t want to spoil you the book and quite frankly it would be a shame to blab it out – this journey is to precious and bittersweet. You’ll just have to trust me and decide to pick up Steph and Nick’s story and learn how sweet and beautiful they are together.

You just have to know that Stephanie and Nick definitely stand out from the other couples in Wait For You series. Their story is absolutely gut wrenching and enchanting. It deals with some tough issues that will be close to every woman’s heart.

Aside from the ‘heartbreaking’ part, Armentrout made sure that her fans got the best of her usual cuteness and sexiness. Forever With You is as charming as ever, hot as hell and it will make you crack a smile… or ten. In nutshell, it’s great yet surprising addition to this series and I loved it!

I love Jennifer's books, it's pretty darn obvious. So when I met her in Vegas and received this arc I was on Cloud Fucking 9. I even started reading it on the drive back to LA that night! (but then it got dark so I had to wait). Even better this is Stephanie and Nick's story!!!

So since I read this in July and am just now reviewing in September, I will do my best to do it justice.

Stephanie moved to a new town to start as an assistant at her dream job. One night she hits up the local bar where she meets sexy bartender Nick. Both of them indulge in a hot one night stand that leaves them wanting more, but neither one of them are willing to admit it, at least at first. As time goes by the two are drawn together by circumstances beyond their control, and they begin to explore the idea of a relationship together.

 photo pagebreak.png

It took me a moment but when I started reading I realized Stephanie had been present in the series all along, she even had some sexy times with our favorite heroes before they found their girls. I love that JLA took "the slutty girl" and instead of shaming her, showed us everything there was to know about her. Stephanie is a strong woman who enjoys sex, and she doesn't feel shame in that. Yet there is also a vulnerable side to her that shows she doesn't like being set apart.

Nick was kind of a dick at first (just a little bit) but Stephanie called him on his crap and I loved it. As the book went on I fell in love with Nick alongside Stephanie, because once he opened up and showed who he was on the inside, we all saw the sweet and wonderful man that he was covering up. I want a hot bartender of my own now!!!

As per usual, JLA brought out all of the feels in this one and it's the reason I always turn to her books for something to read. Plus, this book can honestly be read as a standalone, reading the previous 4 books is helpful (and they are awesome so you should) but this book can be easily read on its own.

Nick and Steph just became one of my favorite couple from this series. I loved the connection they had, even when they both would have rather they didn't have it. Two commitment-phobes don't seem like they would make a good couple, but for these characters it worked for them. I loved seeing them both fight their attraction after that one night together and it added just the right amount of angst to their story.

As usual this author delivers us an adorable couple with a sweet, but also heartbreaking, story and I loved it. If you haven't read this series yet I would highly recommend using some Christmas money to go get it asap.

I am so impressed with Jennifer Armentrout's story-telling abilities. It's flawless. To be honest, in the previous books, Stephanie was not my favorite character, especially the first 2 books, I didn't like her, AT ALL. She had set her sights on the men that were meant for other women that I fell in love with. And then the author paired her up with Nick. Seriously...... I was nervous for this book. So very nervous.

Guess what, I fell hard. I fell hard for this couple. This may just be my favorite book of this series. I LOVE Nick & Stephanie. Adore what they become. This book puts your heart through a heartbreaking situation and heals it in a beautiful way.

I have to admit I loved this. It's my favorite JLA contemporary for sure. It might have had a few typos or cheesy lines like her books usually do, but I didn't notice because I was too busy swooning over Nick with a super cheesy grin on my face.

The truth is, sometimes I rate books based on book boyfriend quality. I mean, I didn't rate the Kathleen Turner books 5 stars because the plots were believable or because I thought Kathleen was smart. It was KADE. So, if any of my friends read this and think I've lost my ever lovin' mind, well...I blame Nick. :)

I actually really liked Stephanie too though. She wasn't an annoying female MC, and I thought she and Nick had great chemistry together. I would give the characters 5 stars, and that's the most important thing to me.

I didn't read the last two books in the series after reading friend reviews, and after getting to know Roxy and Katie, that was probably a good decision. I thought they were a little dingy, but that's just me.

I will also say that the general plot of this book would annoy some of my friends, so I will add a spoiler tag if anyone wants to know. I didn't think there was any annoying pointless drama though, which is usually what will ruin an N/A book for me.

Overall, I really enjoyed it. Sometimes you just need a book that makes you happy!

4.5 ★'s

Finally, we get Nick's story! I've been dying to find out more about him every since we meet him in Calla's book, Stay With Me. He's hot, quiet and mysterious and I couldn't wait to find out why.

Of course if you read the last book, you know who the heroine is. Yes, all our mouths dropped! I couldn't believe it was Stephanie...Stephanie from Cam's book...and Jase's!! WTH? I wasn't sure how JA could make this work but I was pleasantly surprised.

Naturally, Stephanie's story would not be conventional...nor Nick's but that doesn't mean it wasn't romantic...and intense! Pheww...things are hot, hot, HOT right from the get go. And I sort of loved seeing that unsure side of Stephanie. I think it humbled her a bit and make her more likable.

So, there's some drama and it kind of forces Stephanie and Nick together. Nick who doesn't see the same girl more than once and while Stephanie is fine with hook ups because it's told from her POV, we get to know that she secretly wants so much more.

description

And for some reason I either missed or something, Roxy is intent on becoming best friends with Stephanie and that means Katie too. And we all know what that means? We get more of Katie's visions and tell it like it is manners...which I so love!

I have to admit that I was really glad that Stephanie had Roxy and Katie and I even teared up a bit when Katie got to Stephanie and was there for her!

There's lots of good drama, not only with Stephanie and Nick, but with Nick's grandpa, Nick and Calla and with Jillian.

And if you're a fan of Cam and Avery (and who isn't??!!), you really don't want to miss this book. There's some really sweet scenes with them. ~sigh~

The next and possible last book is Fire In You (coming out sometime in 2016) and it's Brock's book. We get some good scenes with him and I'm hoping I know who his heroine is. *fingers crossed* Of course, JA had to mix things up with who Brock shows up with but I'm okay with it. Bring On The Drama!! ;)

I was seriously looking forward to reading this one and I wasn't the disappointed. I love how Nick, former playboy found love with Stephanie. She is definitely his match and when they hook up she is strict it is a one time thing. But one time wasn't enough and I loved their connection!

"Tell me that you still want to be here.
Tell me that you still see a future for us.
Tell me that you love me.”

This story is heartwarming, sexy and emotional. I love books that made me feel and this one definitely did.

I listened to the audiobook and loved it. The narration is great and was an easy listen.

“We got each other. No matter what. There is a you and me.”

Okay, so even though it started out as

Feelings between Nick and Stephanie developed into an adorable relationship that ended with me being all

A Few Things That Surprised Me
1) The fact that Stephanie is totally into sappy movies. I mean, in previous books, she just didn't strike me as the type, but after hearing her story, it totally makes sense.
2) How much of a sweet, adorable, cocky bastard Nick can be. Sure it works for him, but I was still completely on board when Stephanie smacked him with her purse.
3) The connection between Nick and Calla's pasts. I just wasn't expecting that, but it was still a great tie in!

Overall, it was a great story. Yet, I think Jax still wins out as my favorite, but that may end up changing. Still, Stephanie?

I loved this book so much that I've even got it on paperback :) "Forever with You" follows Stephanie and Nick on their epic journey to one night stand lovers to parents... I know, major spoiler, but I can't help it. This book was very different from others, not because it had some action of twisted plot, but because it had a great message behind it. Personally, I loved it so much and considered it atypical for this series.

The two barely know each other but after the passionate night their shared, things will change. Even if they used protection, Stephanie ends up pregnant with Nick and the two decide to keep the baby. For those who are not familiar with the connections with the previous books, Stephanie is kind of an outsider, but will be integrated into the team after this happenings with Nick. She also was included in "Wait for Me" and as you all know, she did kind of annoying things that didn't won the readers sympathy. For our characters this is a very huge change, considering Nick was a playboy and Stephanie a very non-friendly character.

Why I loved it? I loved the idea of two strangers being bonded by a pregnancy and in the process falling in love. I loved that even without experience, or a lot of money, they wanted to have the baby. I loved that they began to discover each other and realized that not only the baby was the unity element, but the things they shared together and the love between them. The plot follows them and even if some unexpected things occur, Nick and Stephanie were awesome together, a couple that made mistakes, but found their missing piece in the most curious circumstances. Their future seems very promising and I hope Jennifer will tell their story further, in the next book, maybe?

I know that maybe this scenario was very "soap-opera" -ish, but my addiction to them and love for this series managed to win me over and made me a dying fan. "Wait for Me" series hits the most sensitive parts of my heart and I totally recommend it to every Romance lover out there. You can possible call yourself Romance lovers if you haven't read at least one book from this series :)

I must admit I started this book off thinking "hmm What have you got me into Jeanne?!" The insta lust was a huge turn off but gradually the book grew on me and Nick was such a sweetie. Plus I almost shed a tear towards the end. Those storylines always gets to me.

Anyways it's the first book I finished in 3 weeks so that counts for something. One problem I did have was that I was so lost on who was who and what happened with the other couple's stories. So overall was a decent read.

Title: Forever With You
Series: Wait for You,#5
Author: Jennifer L. Armentrout
Release date: 29th September, 2015
Cliffhanger: No
HEA:

Forever With You is the fifth novel in Jennifer L. Armentrout's Wait for You series and the turn of Nick and Stephanie to have their stories told. If first impressions were to be believed, it's the story of a seasoned player and the girl you wouldn't leave your boyfriend around. In actual fact it's the story of a guy and a girl who are ready to love but not settling until they've found it. Their story is not your typical boy meets girl affair. What begins as an intense hook up becomes a friendship of sorts, until casual becomes a lot more serious.

I enjoyed peeling back the layers to Steph and Nick, the relationship they have is flawed but in honesty I'm not sure perfect would work for them. What they do have is pure and and the vulnerability they both showed with each other was completely endearing and drew me in as a reader. JLA told a story that was both steamy and sweet with the added pleasure of it also being emotionally engaging.

This wasn't my favorite of the series. Nothing wrong with it...as i stated in lost my mojo! So this was kinda just meh! I liked all the characters but Nick was a bit superficial...or just so busy he was clueless.I liked the story but it just didn't have me all tied up as the previous reads by this author!

Buckle in, the second you pick up Forever with You you are about to embark on an emotional roller coaster to beat all contemporary romance emotional roller coaster. This book was fan-freakin’-tastic! From start to finish you are immersed in Stephanie and Nick…the ups, the downs and the laughter that makes fictional characters people.

Got to say Stephanie hasn’t been a favorite character of mine in the Waiting for You series, until now.

Armentrout pulls out all the stops giving us a of dream story to imbibe, tackling difficult circumstances with amazing clarity, realism and truth!

I love this series and I love this book! It’s that simple.

I received this ARC copy of Forever With You from Avon in exchange for a honest review. This book is set for publication September 29, 2015.

So quiet honestly, this is a bit hard to review without giving away spoilers so I will be trying a different format. But wow, oh wow.. I don't even know where to begin. I have only read Armentrouts NA books, I have yet to read anything else by her, which is a shame really because I own a couple of her YA novels that are currently glaring at me from the bookcase. She is an amazing author that evokes a long of feelings for me with her writing, even if not all of them are necessarily good. Forever with You was one of those books I love to hate because of the difficult subject matter. After reading the synopses, you kind of know what's coming, it's like a train wreck ready to tear you apart, but you are unable to put it down. Mostly because you kind of hope it will heal you in the end... At one point when I told my husband why I was so upset, he asked me why was I even continuing to read this. I honestly didn't know, aside from the fact that not everything I read is going to shelter me from the darker side of life and the other part is, well, Armentrouts writing was still hard to put down, no matter how painful it was.

The Characters
Nick and Stephanie are the two stars of the show in this book. Nick is a bartender who ends up having a one night stand with Stephanie based on the pure attraction between them. So yes, they jump into a love scene from the very first few pages of the book - but that's okay, because it sets up a whirlwind of events that follow the consequences of that one night.

Stephanie is an interesting character. She believes in love, but she doesn't do relationships unless she feels that they are worth it. She has no issues with discovering the other person to feel if they click before committing to anything, and that is what she feels sets her apart from other girls her age. She doesn't feel like the girlfriends of her previous fling like her, but as the book goes on her opinion of them and how they really see her changes. Nick is a one night stand type of guy. But he isn't a bad guy, he just has a lot going on in his personal life that we don't see until later in the book, so it's understandable why he doesn't do relationships, especially if it already had a negative effect on one he use to have.

Together, they are amazing. The heat, the lust, and the physical dynamic are all there. I loved the banter, I loved the connection. I especially loved how the two grow together given the circumstances and how it affected them later on in the book when the tragedy struck.

The Plot

I don't know... I really don't. I really liked the book I did, but I am going to be honest. It was one of the hardest books to read. I am not oblivious that things like this happen and I applaud Armentrout for having the guts to write about this subject matter, but for me, it was difficult - especially knowing that it was coming, so reading the book and basically just wondering when it was going to strike. I don't expect a lot of people to be comfortable with it and maybe I am wrong, because Armentrout does handle it pretty well, and maybe it's because she is such a great author who's writing really captures your feelings. I cannot go too much into the plot, but basically it's about two people who are very much the same, who kind of find a way to deal with their similarities and differences when something happens that bring them close together. I don't want to spoil, so it's hard to talk about most of the plot. But I did love watching Steph and Nick grow, it was very heartfelt how they were brought together and how the tragedy didn't pull them apart. I am proud of Nick with the way he had handled it, even if I wanted to throttle Steph for being so stupid for thinking Nick would react differently otherwise.

The Writing

As I said before. I love the writing. I love Armentrout's NA series, so far I cannot say that I have been disappointed. There is a lot more steam in them, then in YA books, but that's understandable and I don't mind it, just a word of caution for those that have only read her YA series. Armentrout really knows how to build relationships in her books without making it boring. Each story told is very different, the circumstances that bring the characters together are also different, but they are all very true to life. I feel like I personally know the character's in her books. So well written, so well fleshed out. You also have to enjoy them reappearing throughout the series. The amount of emotion she has packed into this book was pretty powerful. What happened to Nick and Steph, I would not wish on anyone, but like Armentrout had said through her characters, something like this does happen, and it was interesting to see how the two mended their shattered world to move on.

In conclusion, besides how difficult the subject matter ended up being for me. I really did love this book. I am looking forward to the next book in the series, which is Brock's story, really excited about that one! This review was originally posted on Night Owl Book Café

This was definitely not what I was expecting from this book... as with most other reviews, I'm not going to go into any detail (which ironically I found frustrating while reading the reviews, but I ended up being grateful because I was able to enjoy the book a lot more). This was definitely different than the other novels in the series, mainly because of how casual they were in the beginning. And while I liked that everything felt very realistic in terms of the start of their relationship, I couldn't help but feel like it was missing some of the magic and butterflies (lame, I know...) I usually feel when reading NA. They have a true ONS and neither really reaches for more. But at the same time, I wouldn't have wanted it any other way because it was so unbelievably true to the characters.

So, yes, the beginning started out a little slow for me and I really wish Nick would have been more present (but again, I can't be angry because that would have been out of character). But the middle and the ending... ah especially the ending were absolutely PERFECT. I think it was around 40% where it started getting amazing for me. I couldn't put it down!! I really like Nick and Stephanie together, and I especially enjoyed getting into Steph's head more... she's way more than meets the eye. And FINALLY we have a heroine who stood up for herself. When she was mad at him she didn't forget about it just because he kissed her and rubbed up against her and she couldn't possibly be angry anymore because she was just soooo attracted to him (*sarcastic voice*)... I was very happy when that scene happened. And I know pretty much everyone has said this, but I loved any scene that questioned the sex stereotypes between men and women. JLA handled it very well and it was such a refreshing change.

For some reason, even though nothing crazy happened in this book, it felt very unique because it went against a lot of the common themes in romance (love at first sight, men vs. women's attitude toward sex, etc...). And despite the slow beginning, it felt very romantic at the end and I couldn't wait for their HEA! If you are a fan of the series, you'll definitely want to read this!

Nick. Yeah that guy. Sweet on the inside but with questionable dating practices Nick. Quiet Nick. Nick who doesn't say much and is kinda grumpy half the time.

Oh yeah. Nick! Nick who will meet his match (maker?) in this book! HOLY CRAPOLAS I CAN'T WAIT TO GET INTO HIS PANTS STORY.

Forever With You was a story that was passionate, sultry, captivating and insanely seductive.  It was perfection in my eyes.  The charm and banter that filled the pages pushed this story to a new level of sexy that I desperately search for each time I open a book.  But you want to know the best part?  When I reached that final page, I was left feeling giddy and smiley despite the fact that I cried, a lot.  I’m still on a book high and Forever With You has officially become my favorite book in the Wait For You series!

Stephanie is the girl who had a physical relationship with the male characters from the first two books, Cam in Wait for You and Jase in Be with Me.  She had attended college with that group of friends, but she wasn’t close to any of them.  Since graduating from college, she got a new job and an apartment on all on her own.  From the first moment that Stephanie met Nick, sparks fly.  Their chemistry was raw, sexual and insanely hot!  It had me anticipating when they were going to hook up and the emotional roller coaster ride that was ensured afterwards!
More than once I’d been accused of being standoffish and bitchy.
The truth was, it wasn’t that I was mean or unfriendly.  I just generally sucked at small talk with people I didn’t know, and most important, I had a severe case of resting bitch face.

I. Loved. Stephanie!  She was confident (at times), wasn’t afraid to defend herself, and underneath it all she was genuine and sweet.  But in all honesty, I didn’t know what to think of her going into this book.  She seemed nice enough, but I kept picturing that scene where poor Teresa walks into Jase’s room and Stephanie is standing there without her shirt on.  Teresa and Jase weren’t together and Stephanie didn’t do anything wrong, but I felt horrible for Teresa.  So starting this book, Stephanie was truly an unknown since I never once had a good grasp on her.  But by page 2, I knew that she was astounding!  Her swearing skills were impressive and I loved the way she interacted with Nick!  Smiles were ensured and I found myself easily feeling every single emotion that she felt.  And that made for an amazing experience!
“.....the fact that you think I came here looking for just you insinuates that I’m desperate.  The fact that you think you can get with me after speaking to me the way you did tells me you don’t think very highly of me.  And after one night with me you think you can dictate to me where I can go and what I cannot do?  You must think I’m stupid.”
His brows flew up. “Steph-”
“Don’t.” I lifted a hand, stopping him.  My middle finger might have been extended as I stepped around him and snatched my purse.  “This conversation ends with a - how about you go fuck yourself.”

Nick was charismatic, charming, dark, sultry, sexy, and had a tortured past.   Sigh .  He could also go from being thoughtful and caring to the biggest ass on the face of the planet.  Nick was everything that I always want to lust after in a book boyfriend.  He was the type of man whose actions and words could be the polar opposite.  One moment he was doing something that made you want to sigh out loud and grab him by the shirt and kiss him and then in the next moment his words could be like a slap across the face.  He was a fun puzzle to figure out and I enjoyed every single moment trying to learn who Nick was.  And I know that Nick is a character that is going to stick with me for a very long time because he had that profound of an impact on me.  There was so much depth to him.  And when we got to see every single part of him, the good and the bad, it was impossible not to love the whole package.  He truly was a beautiful person, jackass and all!
His hand lingered in the space between us and then he cupped my cheek.  The move startled me as he dragged his thumb under my lip.  “It’s really a shame.”
I frowned.  “What is?”
“Us,” he said, his voice low as his thumb made another sweep, and my breath caught. “That you and I are the way we are.  It’s a damn shame.”

So YES I loved this book!  It was truly stunning!  I just wanted to run around my house jumping and laughing because this book was so much of everything I always want.  Give me a heroine who I will love, give me a tortured man who will steal my breath away, give me fiery chemistry, give me a story that is all-consuming and I will fall in love with every single page.  And that I did!

5 / 5 🍪✨🦋🧸🍻

Five shining stars, without a doubt. This book carved out a place in my heart, and I know it will stay with me for a long time. I didn’t know exactly what to expect from Steph, but she completely surprised me. She’s fierce, independent, and her personality bursts from the pages. Ever since she first appeared in the series I’d been waiting for her story, and finally getting it was so worth it.

Nick was the other piece I’d been curious about. I always wondered what had shaped him into the man he is, but I never imagined it would be tied to that. When I found out, it honestly left me speechless. He’s such a tender, kind soul, and beneath that protective side there’s a sweetness that made me fall for him instantly. Some of the moments between him and Steph are pure magic—intimate, heartfelt, and so beautiful they melted me completely.

The romance is everything: tender but intense, sprinkled with drama and raw emotion. There were chapters that made my chest ache, scenes that actually broke me, but those are the ones that made the story unforgettable.

And yes, there is a cliché in here, one that usually makes me roll my eyes. I won’t say what it is, because it’s not in the synopsis and I don’t want to spoil anyone, but here it worked differently. It fit so naturally into the plot and gave such depth to the characters that instead of bothering me, I ended up loving how it played out.

This story gave me everything I look for in romance: strong and memorable characters, a love story that made me swoon, revelations that completely threw me off guard, and emotions I’ll carry with me for a long time.

5 Estrellas!!!

I have loved every book in this series and this one is no different. The characters are all so real to me and that's the most important part of any book as far as I'm concerned.

Steph gets a bad rap in the first couple of books in this series. Because of that, I was concerned if I was gonna like her. But I loved her. She doesn't do relationships. Love is a thing but she hasn't experienced it. And she's not gonna settle for anything less than what her parents had. In the mean time, she's up for a good time and Nick is definitely the guy she wants to have that good time with.

I've always liked Nick. When I first met him, I knew there was a story behind that cocky attitude and confidence. And he sure does have a story. His family is very interesting but it's Nick that steals the show. He's got the biggest heart ever. Over and over again, he just blew me away with what a great guy he is. One night stands are his thing but Steph makes him question that practice.

These two are really two of a kind. They don't do relationships but when it comes to each other, just maybe. They have something that brings them together and it's sweet. But they aren't clear with what's really happening. And as miscommunication goes, they're great at it. So when the pain comes...and, oh does the pain come, it rips them apart. But I will say that the as much as I was hurting for them, I was so happy with Nick. I can't say more than his reactions made me proud. Good job, Nick.

Lots of sexy in this one, no surprise there. This author is know for the sexy times in her new adult and adult books. But it was more than that. It was a discovery for these two as they figured out how to be in a relationship. There is a scene where Nick just tells Steph he wants kisses whenever they greet each other. I loved it.

I did see it coming and I just held on as I watched it unfold. Such a great story with some very important themes.

AND LOKI! Steph's mom has a little Jack Russell terrier named Loki. If you know this author, then you know that's her dog. I loved this sweet little addition. And at one point, I just curled up with my puppy as tears ran down my face while reading this story. No, Loki is fine. Just felt the need to snuggle that little pup.

This book can be read stand alone. The author does a great job of filling in necessary information from previous books. The gangs all there, though. So if you have read the rest of the series, you'll appreciate Katie being around. And there's a couple of big events for Cam and Avery in this one. That was great.

If you love new adult romance where the decisions are so life altering and emotional with a side of serious sexy, then this is your next read.

"Nick was like jigsaw puzzle where the most intricate pieces had been misplaced, and deep down I knew that no matter how many times I would shake the puzzle up and start over, those pieces would always be missing and I would never have the complete picture."

Jennifer L. Armentrout is one of those authors who can easily mesmerized her readers with her words, characters, and story-line. In her fifth installment of the Wait For You Series, Ms. Armentrout once again captures her readers attention as she showcases the full spectrum of a beautiful touching love story in Forever With You.

#ForeverWithYou

Forever With You embodies a touching and endearing tale of love, passion, and devotion. In this book, we are introduced to Nick and Stephanie, a couple who has this push and pull type of relationship. Together they must learn how to conquer their fears on love and unresolved past issues that affects them from truly moving forward. With raw emotions integrated into the story-line, Ms. Armentrout was able to showcase all facets that love entails from learning to let go, healing, trusting, and opening up one's heart.

"Tell me that you still want to be here. Tell me that you still see a future for us. Tell me that you love me."

I absolutely adored this sweet, tender, and emotionally charged romance. The connection of Nick and Stephanie was passionate, poignant and heart-warming. Ms. Armentrout did an amazing job sprinkling layers of humor, wit, banter, sexiness, steam, passion, and heart. So if you are looking for a book that epitomize a beautiful, palpable, and touching tale of love then I recommend you to read Forever With You.

"You're going to break his heart."

I used to love Jennifer Armentrout and every single book she released, but I just realized it took me a really long time to finish this one. A month to be specific, and that happens very rarely.

description

I love this series, but already with FWM I had a few problems. In this case maybe mu biggest issue was Stephanie and the plot /so basically the whole book).
I just don't get why Armentrout decided it was a good idea to write about a girl that in all the previous installments was described as easy. Let me be clear, I don't have any problem with the choices Stephanie made in the past. But I found it extremely awkward to read about someone that slept with not one, but two of the previous heroes. Especially when we see Stephanie becoming friends with both Avery and Teresa. Seriously? I don't believe it for one second. For me it's just not possible.

description

And in fact, it seemed that the only way to bring the heroine and the hero together was
By by the time that happened it was too late for me, and I couldn't enjoy the book as much as I would have liked.

I really hope that the next book (that I have to say I can't wait to read because so far I like both the main characters) will be the last one. It's time for Armentrout to start a new series!

4.5 stars!

I love this series. Well-developed characters, fun, sexy, swoony heroes, fantastic romance and a touch of drama. It’s one of my favourite NA series, and this book just cements that. It has everything that I have come to anticipate from this author, but it is also SO much more than I was expecting with intense feels that took me completely by surprise. I laughed, I cried, and I fell in mad love. This is definitely going down as one of my faves of the series.

Nick is a bartender at Mona’s. In previous books he’s seemed a bit stand-off-ish, and I was curious to see how he’d be as a romantic hero. But leave it to JLA! I always fall hard for her heroes, and Nick is no different – OMG, I absolutely love him!

Stephanie is that girl that went to College with the rest of the Wait For You crew and hooked up with both Cam and Jase way before we met them. And wow, I love that we’re getting her story! Don’t go thinking she’s a ho-bag! She’s a smart, sensible girl with a great sense of humour and a big heart who knows what she wants, and goes after it. She’s always careful, she doesn’t lead guys on, she just enjoys her time with them and moves on. She wants love one day, but for the moment she’s focussed on her first job out of College and climbing the career ladder.

Nick and Stephanie have chemistry from the very start. Their attraction is palpable, the banter is fantastic, and that first hook up is sizzling! Both of them are upfront that their night together would be a one-off, and even though they both feel differently after they rock each other’s worlds, they go their separate ways, as is their usual behaviour. But they are drawn back together again, and soon find themselves falling effortlessly into the very situation that both of them have been so adamantly avoiding.

“It’s her. The one you’re going to fall for and fall hard. Oh, boy, you have so met your match. Totally.”

I loved this story. Every single moment of it. It’s intense yet fun, realistic and emotional, and I loved watching Nick and Stephanie come together in a way that neither of them expected. They have fantastic dialogue and lots of chemistry, and all of it felt so natural. I loved watching it happen, and even though this book is written entirely from Steph’s POV, you can see Nick falling just as hard as she is, and it’s a beautiful, beautiful story.

“We’ll figure this out. We will. You and I. Together. We can do this.”

I’m not going to go into the storyline, because it’s best that you just dive in and enjoy it without knowing too much ahead of time, but this one does have a few twists and turns to it. Some were expected, others were not, but let me say that I felt everything! This book is more emotional than we are used to from JLA, but she writes it beautifully, and I had tears streaming down my face on more than one occasion. My heart ached for these characters and all that they go through, but the way that they deal with it is real, raw, and just perfect. I could relate to them, I could understand them, and I was behind them the whole way.

Tell me that you still want to be here. Tell me that you still see a future for us. Tell me that you love me.

The romance unfolds beautifully during Nick and Stephanie’s journey and I adored the both of them as they faced their challenges, opened up to each other, realized what they were feeling and what they wanted, and then worked for it. And through it all the sexy time is hot and the romance is gorgeously swoony.

“I don't just love you, I'm in love with you. Hell, I have been for a while and I wanted to tell you that so many times over.”

Characters from previous books in the series all feature, and though this can be read as a standalone, it will definitely be more enjoyable for those that have read them all. I loved catching up with everybody, and that ending had me grinning madly as we see one of my favourite couples get their well-deserved HEA. Just gorgeous!

This was a really great read. Funny, emotional, sexy and romantic, it’s everything that I love about JLA, and I can’t wait to continue on with the next book in the series.

4.5 stars.
