Presley Adams has spent her whole life surviving. Foster homes, late shifts, and a mother who taught her love was something you earned by enduring pain. When she finally lands a coveted internship at Andino Inc. - London’s most powerful alpha-run tech corporation - it feels like the first thing she’s ever achieved entirely on her own.
Elijah Andino is the eldest of five Alpha brothers, heir to a billion-pound empire, and still reeling from a very public, very broken engagement. He has no time (and even less patience) for the chaos of a new scent-matched omega in his office. Especially one who challenges him, defies him, and smells like everything he’s spent his life denying himself.
What begins as mutual irritation burns into something impossible to ignore. Presley fights the pull with every breath, desperate to prove she’s more than her designation. Elijah resists out of duty, terrified of crossing the line between instinct and consent. But some bonds don’t care about boundaries.
As London’s elite close ranks, rumours swirl, and Presley’s past resurfaces in the worst possible way, Elijah’s protective instincts turn primal. From the glittering boardrooms of Mayfair to a secluded chapel on the edge of Lake Como, their connection deepens into something fierce, forbidden, and life-altering.
To build a future together, Presley must believe she deserves one - and Elijah must decide where legacy ends and love begins.
Knot Your Average Intern is a slow-burn, high-heat omegaverse romance about power, healing, and the courage it takes to rewrite the family you were given into the one you choose.

What an awesome sweet omegaverse! This was exactly what I was looking for.
I really loved this book. I wish we got more time with Elijah and Presley as a couple, though. I love the overarching plot and the found family theme, but I feel like a little more time and attention were needed on the main couple to make this a five-star story.
Still, it was super sweet, and I really enjoyed reading it.
Starting with the good, Elijah makes a decent MMC, more than just decent even. He's relatively consistent throughout, caring and supportive in turn, and just truly good. Evie and Axel are very decent in their side character roles, as are Elijah's parents. Frank might be my favorite side character of the month, which is definitely saying a lot!
Presley is mostly a great FMC. She's the strong self reliant but truly nice person that should be in focal roles. The complexity of her backstory leads to some slightly vague threads that bug me in their lack of necessity (her house share roomies for example are just a question mark for me). Her personality though is a solid win, with lots of wit and sarcasm, even if some are just her internal monologues.
The author is making this series overly complicated in some places and it's actually detracting from the individual storyline in this instance. There's so much going on with the brothers, and a vague comment about Hallie that was sinister but tossed aside, and the plethora of social circle guys that seemed slightly shady but went nowhere. It was a lot of excess without payout. Unless a lot of this is building for Evander's book, it just cluttered Presley and Elijah's story and left me feeling like I missed parts of the plot somewhere.
The second book in the series and my second book by Missy Darling. I’m becoming a fan! Presley a newly presenting Omega finally gets a so much deserved break as an intern at Andino Inc. The snag? She scent matches with the COO aka Elijah Andino. I enjoyed that this was not RH as so much omegaverse I read is. It’s a refreshing take and I’m here for it. Elijah is quick to judge, but the way he cares for Presley means I’m quick to forgive and forget. I’d love this billionaire lifestyle (a girl can dream!) They make each other better and it left me with a smile on my face. I also loved that we meet more of the Andino pack. I think I’m already in love with T! Elijah is powerful and their money feels real when I’m reading the book, in a way a lot of billionaire romance never does. 5 🌟
I’m going to rate this a three because it was good but it wasn’t my favorite. It felt like it was missing something the whole time and I couldn’t figure it out. I liked the first book but I honestly don’t know out of the two which I liked best. I also couldn’t stand all the different writing styles on the page some parts were in single space. Some in double space. It was already a long book and that made it feel longer with all the inconsistency.

I really liked the first book in this series but I absolutely loved the second book! This book had me hooked from the beginning and I loved the story. Presley was an amazing FMC and I thought she was quite well suited to Eli. I cannot wait for the next book in this series to release and I would highly recommend reading this one.
I really like it. Elijah is perfect for Presley. She is one of the best FMC I have read in a while. I was routing for her from the start and so glad she got everything she deserved. Feel like I went on Presley’s journey with her. I hate Eli’s stalker ex! This is a new author for me and can’t wait to see what else she has in store!
Im not really great at writing reviews, so this is going to be simple and short. Loved this story. Read it in one afternoon. Looking forward to the next story of the Andi n o family. So glad the wait won't be too long.
When a little miss independent, fought for everything she has- is bumped into by a I’ll sacrifice myself for the family business, until he meets her, meet- what’s not to love!
Whilst the spice of this book may be like two chillies 🌶️🌶️, the storyline is ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐. So well written, I felt Presley's emotions, her reasoning, her journey. And Eli is 😍. Can't wait for the next book.
Did not expect to love this as much as I did. It had everything and is a beautiful story where the FMC Presley overcomes, oh and bags a billionaire alpha who may just bite her! Ha!! I thoroughly enjoyed this!!!
I was waiting for this book, because I enjoyed the first in the series. I have not put it down once! We met Elijah mostly in the epilogue of book 1 and his disastrous cancelled wedding. Now it’s his turn to find his omega and I love Presley. Life hasn’t been kind to her and she deserves this love. I don’t want to add spoilers because I know my review is early, but this bond to me was everything you’d ever want and I love it for them. It’s sweet, she’s adorable and he is everything I want for her and more! I love how Missy Darling draws you in. I could so picture Presley trying to shuffle/walk in her mermaid dress! Cannot wait for book 3!
