The author helps you grasp the meaning of the equations by breaking them down into simpler steps. The question "Why is it important?" in particular brings the equation to life.
Just one question... Entropy, the Romeo and Juliet of the laws of physics, why do you write it with the Bolzman constant and not as dS = dQ/T?
Very enjoyable, allowing me fresh view of some old favourites (how many different ways can Euler's identity be explained??) and gave me a beginners understanding of some concepts I've heard mentioned often and never dug into (the Laplacian.) I would have liked some examples to have gone a little deeper towards the level of applicable knowledge.
