Every woman has bought Cosmopolitan once, twice, or every single edition which is definitely not something to be ashamed of. Or has only read it as they waited to get their hair or nails done. The point is that every woman has read it, and this book is everything put into one place.

Starting with foreplay, which isn't as it sounds. Foreplay is actually starting the moment you wake up; from what to wear and how to tease him for more. How to blow his mind from how to teach him to blow yours. Then on to the main event as they like to say. Moves, how to connect yourselves deeper emotionally, and even talking dirty. On to the afterglow, cuddling or just holding hands for the men, or women, who like a bit of space after the mindblowing orgasm, on to notes about how to keep your man interested into round two without pushing him but also not letting him fall asleep.

Men give pointers and advice on what turns them on the most for women to try, there are sections just for men to read, and there's even little hot stories in the back.

But the whole goal of the book is to bring both parties to an orgasm, and ensure that everyone is left satisfied and happy, and bring men and women closer even if they're too tired or not in the mood for sex.

I'm not sure how I can rate this, considering I'm not engaging in sex.

I've been reading all the sex books I can find at my library (with some strange looks from the librarian when I check out sex books and then one guide to managing my funds. I must look like a prostitute) because I'm doing some pre-reading for a psychology of sex class. Reading about it has taken some of the mystery out of sex and helped raise and answer some questions I couldn't have known about as a virgin.

As far as this book goes...do I feel like I learned something? Yes.

But, I felt like the book was mostly photos of hot couples sitting on sheets. They could have been selling bed spreads at Bed bath and beyond. A lot of the analogies were a little awkward.

Saw some comments that it was too technical. I don't think it was technical enough.

A lot of their chapters just touched on things. For example, they have a section dedicated to finding a look that is arousing from an evolutionary point. They touch on that, briefly, but that's about it. They have a section dedicated to awkward questions that might arise during sex but only answer a handful.

The book comes across more as a girlfriend-to-girlfriend discussion of sex and how to spice up a dull love life by offering random suggestions. It's very casual, a little interesting, but I would recommend getting this book on sale, or just spending $4 for a copy of their magazine instead.

A little too hip for me: lots of young bodies and very, very detailed techniques and tips make me feel like this whole business is highly technical.

excellent book...fun, very useful, and excitng way to spice up your love life by reading it with your mate....what i learned, well... thats all i have to say....
