this is probably my least favorite volume so far! quite uneventful, and felt like filler, which is typically not my favorite when it comes to manga.

Encore un tome tout doux, je chouine 😭
Cette journée au parc d’attraction avec eux était si mignonne et nécessaire pour ce trio, Ōshi va enfin pouvoir passer à autre chose. Et purée j’aime le fait que Itsuomi accepte l’amitié entre ce dernier et Yuki, en sachant pertinemment que Ōshi a des sentiment pour notre héroïne. On réclame plus de mecs comme ça svp!!
Bref, j’ai hâte de lire la suite 🥹🩷

I'm particularly happy about how Oushi's case was resolved, and I wonder if Izumi will be covered in future. The last chapter does not give enough hints about what next volumes might be about. But looking forward to the next.

I'm so glad I'm not reading this chapter by chapter because this volume was barely progressing the story.
On the plus side, the love triangle comes to a close with the blossoming Itsuomi and Oushi bromance haha. Oushi finally talks it out with Yuki and accepts that she's with someone who is actually perfect for her.
Emma and Shin have a little progress too.
Ends with Yuki realizing she wants to get it on with Itsuomi and he's back to silver hair!

Just finished chapter 52 and man it could not be better EXCEPT FOR HOW SLOW THEY ARE RELEASING THIS.
They are finally together, they are moved in, talking about a future but she is still too shy for intimacy and I just know his ex is gonna show up after that mention in this last chapter. I’m about to go full feelings how it was with Xadens Ex.

I like the other characters stories. honestly they are more interesting and more complicated than our main couple. Yuki you live with him and have been together six months haven't gotten past 1st base... this is the stuff about this series where I just can't. She is a grown adult living with her partner I just don't believe this level of innocence in a ONE BEDROOM. I hate that this is a story line after they are living together. This should have been before, I am sorry. I feel like she is infantilized by so many people in this story. It is okay for it to be sweet and slow but SHE IS A GROWN WOMAN. And I saw spoilers or I remember this, so I know they sleep separately (also I got so down voted for this on Reddit) but I want her treated like an adult. She is one.
Emma and Shin are cute. I am glad Shin likes her more than she likes him as he should. Oushi, I don't care really one way or another but he seems to have had some growth since the beginning of the series. Have Yuki or Itsuomi changed or grown in anyway?
I'm frustrated cause on paper, I GET IT. he is so caring in certain way and the art is fantastic! But god, other than being deaf and in to him I am not sure I know anything about her. He wants to be a dedicated humanitarian from what we are shown what about her? Is that her dream too? What is her major even? When does she fit in his dream if she is gonna commit herself to it?
So the final chapter reminded me how frustrated I am with them but until then i liked this so 2.75

i’m on a shoujosei manga binge and finally caught up on this series!! i’m just gonna put some overall series thoughts here.
as someone who’s hard-of-hearing, this story is so dear to me. i love the art style and how the author draws the characters signing and emphasizes nonverbal communication. i think my favorite part of this series is how the format and text styling is utilized to show how yuki interprets conversation, with the faded text when she is lip-reading and the way that the letters are jumbled when she is unable to decipher what word is being said. while i’m not fully deaf, the way that the text is used felt really relatable to me, especially thinking back to before i found hearing aids that worked for me. the way that dialogue is illustrated through signing, digital messages, written notes, and lip-reading is visually interesting and shows the characters’ adaptability in communicating.

Un volume molto carino, Itsuomi è sempre figo.
E devo ammettere che sto iniziando a trovare carino anche Oshi, anche se per qualche volume aveva questo atteggiamento molto infantile da starmi sui nervi.

Sé que esta serie es conocida por la ternura y las "cozy vibes", pero me parece que la manera en que se trató este arco de Oushi estuvo muy bueno. Mucha madurez de los personajes y una conclusión esperanzadora. También destaco algo un poco random, pero me encanta como Suu Morishita expresa tanto a través del lenguaje corporal de los personajes. Me parece genial que explote ese recurso, porque le añade muchísimo a la historia y nos hace, por un par de paneles, estar en el mismo mundo que Yuki.

Trop heureuse, que l’amitié entre Oshi et Itsumi est évolué, trop contente pour eux vrm trop chouuu. L’évolution de Oshi me fait trop plaisir mbb, pareil pour la relation entre Ema et shin les mimis et aussi celle de Itsumi et Yuki. Les quiproquos ont entrain de disparaître. et la lecture est juste trop douceeeeee

C’est avec une couverture solo inédite que les autrices nous proposent un tome un peu à part dans l’histoire qui vient faire le point, après les parents de la demoiselle, sur le meilleur ami de celle-ci, et surprenamment c’est assez réussi.
J’avais en effet quelques craintes avec ce tome où nos héros allaient passer une journée à trois dans un parc d’attractions avec le meilleur ami de Yuki, amoureux également de cette dernière. Je me demandais comment les autrices allaient écrire cela et si ça n’allait pas virer au mélo. Ouf, comme à chaque fois, elles ont la finesse d’éviter cela. Alors certes, je ne trouve pas forcément cela très crédible. Cela respire un peu trop la trop grande gentillesse et bonté pour moi pour que je puisse y croire, mais en même temps, c’est reposant d’avoir de tels personnages et de telles interactions.
J’ai beaucoup aimé la distance que chacun a su trouver dans cette relation à trois. Itsuomi ne s’effaçant pas comme petit ami et cherchant à nouer connaissance avec Ôshi. Ôshi ne reniant pas son passé et au contraire osant enfin montrer à Yuki ce qu’il avait sur le coeur mais sans mettre de bâtons dans les roues de sa nouvelle relation car la voyant réellement heureuse avec Itsuomi. Et Yuki restant droite dans ses bottes avec chacun. C’était la bonne solution.
A côté de ça, heureusement, l’autrice nous a aussi offert d’autres chapitres, notamment ceux sur les amis d’Itsuomi qui ont apporté la dose de mignonnitude dont j’avais besoin. Je suis très fan du tournant qu’a pris la relation entre Ema et Shin, et le fait qu’Ema puisse aussi franchement s’engager et rassurer ainsi Shin et ses inquiétudes légitimes au vu de leur passé. Etant fan des relations entre amis d’enfance, je fonds complètement en les voyant et j’espère qu’on aura encore de nombreuses pages sur eux.
A l’inverse, je dois avouer que le quotidien de couple de Yuki et Itsuomi ne m’intéresse pas forcément. J’ai du mal, pour le moment, avec la représentation très pure et candide, pour ne pas dire enfantine de Yuki qui commence à me lasser. Mais apparemment, je ne suis pas la seule, puisque les autrices prennent un joli virage en nous montrant enfin que celle-ci n’est pas que l’oie blanche qu’on croit et qu’elle a aussi des désirs. J’espère donc qu’elles vont la rendre désormais petit à petit plus mature dans ses apparitions et qu’on aura droit à une représentation moins culcul de leur couple. J’en ai besoin avec leur emménagement.
Tome qui confirme que nous avons ici un duo d’autrices assez exceptionnelles en leur genre. Bien que se frottant sans cesse aux clichés du shojo, elles en contournent avec bonheur et facilité les pièges, offrant des moments certes doux mais plus profonds que nombre de titres du genre. J’ai ici beaucoup aimé le traitement des anciens love interest potentiels, que ce soit pour s’en faire un ami ou pour découvrir leur nouvel amour. Le autrices font les bons choix et évitent à merveille les pièges du genre, nous offrant des propositions inédites et authentiques.
