I didn't hate this book. But at the same time, I really didn't like it, either. I wanted to read this as a quick and fluffy palette cleanser, and it was certainly that, but it was just boring. I was wanting something more.
I really don't like insta-love. This wasn't quite that, but it was close enough. We know practically nothing about them at all when she invites them to Hawaii. We get through the entire book, and we barely get anything else, just a quick scene at the end with their dad.
The guys were all clones of each other, personality-wise. There was nothing setting them apart from each other. Add in the fact we know very little about them, and I'm bored.
Lastly, none of them had any chemistry, at all. I couldn't feel any emotions from anyone at all. Because of this, I didn't care about anyone, either. I was looking forward to this series, but after this book, I'm not interested anymore. I just don't want to deal with more carbon copies of this book.
I do not recommend this book to others and will not read this one again.
I disliked this from the beginning and for some reason still subjected myself to the entire book.
There will be spoilers, so if you thiiiiink you might like this, don’t read ahead. Or just don’t read and save yourself the eye strain from the amount of rolling they’ll be doing.
Phoebe is dumped in a god awful way, and for sure should have enjoyed her honeymoon, even inviting the best men is fine. But you’ve got to be kidding me that these men already were half in love with her and she’s fucking all 3 literally 2 days after her fiancé, that she thought she was in love with and wanted to spend forever with, called off the wedding the night before with a horrendous text in a group chat. A woman whose confidence is in the TOILET willingly got naked with 3 hot ass men a few days after being told she was fat and lazy? No, don’t believe that one bit.
And the men, they were protective of her, and that’s great and all, but none of them had personalities or felt like they added much to this. Not to mention that two of them are FUCKING TWINS? Did we really have to make the joke that they “have the same tastes” too? Honestly, this was basically spice and a subplot of her family being trash humans and trying to take her million dollar trust and family business away. Like, what?
AND THEN, throw in a fucking accidental pregnancy to the mix? Were we just TRYING to check all the worst trope boxes? Insta-love is bad enough, but you have a disapproving parent (who apparently just change their tune because they’re dying and it’s just that easy), and a fucking surprise baby too?
Just, no. It was not written well and there were a lot of gaps that just made this story feel choppy and I just struggled to enjoy any part of this.
FMC could have used a ton of therapy instead of 3 peens, but hey, no judgement. The characters’ relationships seemed out of the blue with little build emotionally. The author describes other details really well, but just wasn’t good at showing how the relationships got from a to z.
Super predictable, Cliches everywhere and total insta-romance
Was looking for a light, fun read and thought I found it but alas-nope. Very little back story on any characters, the FMC was a bit of an insecure mess through most of the story -except- surprise (not) when she was with the 3 MMCs which was jarring and unbelievable. This story has been done so many times and in similar ways that I started skipping pages after only 12% in. 2 ⭐️s only because I finished. The spice was barely 1🌶️ and the scenes were repeated (almost) identically sparingly throughout the book. Was hoping this would be a new author to follow but will stay far away from anything in the “lucky lady” series. Frankly- that subtitle should have kept me away in the first place. 🤦🏻♀️
Phoebe can't believe how cruel and how low her ex could go when he called off the wedding. Highlighting, according to him, her flaws and why she is to blame for the whole debacle. Furthermore, to add insult to injury, her family weighs in, agreeing with him. These are the people who are supposed to love you unconditionally, yet turn out to be more concerned with power and reputation.
Phoebe is reeling from all of this as her life unfolds on social media, 'the court of opinion'. Everybody and anybody who can have their say, hiding behind their screen, not knowing anything about her. But Matthew's groomsmen, August, Dominic, and Theo, know how sweet, kind, and generous Phoebe is, and are determined to make her see that not all men are like their ex-friend.
The men show Phoebe how she should be loved, cherished, and spoiled. They have always liked her from afar, but now they will stand by her side and show those who try to discredit her that two can play that game. They know Phoebe is intelligent and kind, someone they are honoured to call theirs.
The men and her best friend Penny, know there is something underhanded when Phoebe gets frozen out of the family business, and the family is trying to stop her from inheriting the inheritance. They will move heaven and earth to prove once and for all that Phoebe has been the victim in all of this drama.

I pretty much read this in one sitting, loved every second of it, I could relate to Phoebe on an emotional scale of how I was raised as a kid. I don't like talking about it because I found a way to love myself through K-pop music and reading as well as trying not to get too into my own head with no way to pull back because that happens. Sometimes I wish I had another person like Dominic, Theo, or Austin tell me, "I can hear you thinking." I might panic, but at least it would stop the thoughts momentarily. Out of the three Main Male Characters I have a hard time picking a favorite, but I'm really glad that she got the company, the husband and the husbands as well as a son, and I'm even more thrilled that her sister and her mother got what they deserved in the end since all they did was put her through a hell Phoebe did not deserve at all. This book is easily a 5-star read because it had some tense moments, spicy scenes, relaxing moments, as well as a happily ever after. I'm glad she went to court to see her mother and her sister's sentencing hearing after everything was brought light and they can't touch her, the company or the assets anymore either. They can always try to ask her for money, but after the way she was treated, I doubt she will give them anything let alone the time of day again especially with kids now in the picture.
This was such a heartwarming and empowering read, and I had a lot of fun watching Phoebe slowly rebuild her confidence with the help of the men who genuinely care about her. I really liked how the story contrasted her cruel family and awful ex with the kindness and loyalty of Matthew’s former groomsmen. Instead of tearing her down, they lift her up and remind her she deserves so much better.
Phoebe’s heartbreak is raw, especially when her mother and sister take her ex’s side, but the support she receives from August, Dominic, and Theo creates a beautiful found family vibe. Each of them sees her worth long before she sees it herself, and watching them encourage her, protect her, and show her what real affection looks like was incredibly satisfying. I had a lot of fun reading their dynamic because it balances emotional healing with great chemistry.
The social media chaos, the family drama, and the inheritance plot all add tension that kept me invested. I really liked how Phoebe goes from defeated to determined, finally choosing to fight for herself with her friends and these men standing behind her. This story is cozy, romantic, cathartic, and full of hope.
This book had me hooked from the start. What I loved most was how Phoebe had these guys in her corner, supporting her unconditionally and reminding her of her worth. They weren’t just background characters—they were her team, her cheerleaders, and the reason she could start building herself back up after everything.
On the flip side, her mom and sister were awful. The way they treated Phoebe made my heart ache, and it really highlighted how important it was for her to have people who actually believed in her. That contrast made the guys’ support feel even more powerful—like they were the antidote to all the negativity she’d been drowning in.
Watching Phoebe grow into herself again, with the best men lifting her up, was so satisfying. The romance sparks are fun, but what really stuck with me was the bigger message: sometimes family lets you down, but you can still find strength and love in the people who choose to stand by you.
Phoebe’s journey reminds us that even when those closest to you tear you down, true friends can rebuild your spirit and help you find yourself again.
I tried really hard to love this book, on paper it’s everything I typically like. I can read 1-2 books a day typically and this book was a struggle. I kept leaving it and forcing myself back. It was predictable, the miscommunication about Georgina? The fat shaming that was absolutely repetitive, how many times can you call the fmc shamu before it gets tired? The answer 1 time. And her being surprised she was pregnant? At no point did they address what was happening with birth control so why would we be surprised?
Also the time jumps were frustrating, even the last chapters when there was a two year jump? Why wasn’t that an epilogue?
And lastly I think I skipped entire paragraphs in the beginning of this book while they were in Hawaii. The author waxes poetically about Hawaii as if she works for the state tourism department it’s exhausting. Some how even less pleasant that when she spent paragraphs on actual business minutea after Phoebe took over the company. 3 stars bc it took 3 days to finish. 🙄
I’m sure that’s not what an author wants to read in a review, but that’s what this was for me. I just finished a heavy dark series and needed something lighter to read. This book fit the bill. I love reading about curvy plus size FMC. Girl never let a boy get you down like that. Put on your big girl panties and you either get some revenge or get under someone new and sometimes those two things are exactly the same! Her family are text book narcissists and mental abu$ers. The hits just keep coming for the FMC and it makes you wonder how long before she snaps. The MMCs were great, each with their own personality. They just want her and will do anything to protect her, to show her who they really are. Now you know I enjoyed the multiple POVs, the group dynamic, sleazy side characters and the lightness that came at times. Epilogues years down the road are always a bonus for me!
I was looking for a light read, something to lighten the mood between the darker romances....I'm discovering I just really love the darker stuff? This has good, descriptive spice!
I did like the modern "social media" aspect of the story, brings it solidly into today. I do think I need a break from the "plus" size girl that has no self esteem, is treated horrible by her family and then needs 3 hot guys to convince her she's pretty.
and the amount of times the leading lady misunderstands something....a photo by a paparazzi for example...and runs off and won't answer her phone? puhleeze....girlfriend!
I would love to read about a woman with curves, that is fully in herself, knows her worth and attracts men that adore her...she's not a project, she's a destination.
I do get a giggle out of seeing how different authors write out the spicy scenes....especially when it's three men....and sometimes I'm sitting here going ......yeah....that's not physically possible....LOL
My Ex-Fiancé’s Best Men: A Contemporary Reverse Harem Romance by Kai Lesy
Totally the coolest book ever! I really like the reverse harem romances they just make sense to me. The men involved with Phoebe are supporting her all the while her family and ex-fiancé are such evil hateful creatures. I honestly thought maybe Crystal and Georgina were a couple they did so many hateful things to Phoebe as did her own mother Helen, always insulting her and degrading her also encouraging everyone to do the same. Evil. The men, yummy, wealthy in their own rights sexy and loving to Phoebe supporting her every chance they can. Knowing she is beautiful and highly intelligent and the perfect woman for them. Always trying to get her to realize her own beauty and brilliance. I just want to keep reading about them and their lives with such love and bright future together. Wow!
'Theo offers a soft, reassuring smile. “This can be anything you want it to be, Phoebe. You’re in control. We’re just going along for the ride because you invited us. You deserve better. The only thing I can guarantee is that things will get better. What Matthew did is unforgivable. We meant every word in that video.”'
I really enjoyed this book. Good world building and wonderful characters. I loved Phoebe and the guys August, his twin Dominic, and Theo. I really liked the way they supported her- publicly too- and were completely against how her nasty selfish ex-fiancé treated her. She was encouraged to take her power back and regained her confidence with guys her really saw her value. The chemistry between them sizzled. There were enough crappy characters to hate along with their drama. I couldn't put it down. 4 stars
An amazing reverse harem story. When her fiance dumps her publically a day before the wedding, Phoebe is devastated. Then she sees the video the groomsmen uploaded. Dominic, August and Theo were furious that their friend would dump his fiance and then make a spectacle of it. So they upload a video saying they stand by Phoebe. This leads to Phoebe asking them to come to Hawaii with her. They accept and the two weeks in Hawaii are the best of Phoebes life. But then they come back to New York and the real life and find that her mother and sister are against her. Her mother wants to take away her inheritance. But the men promise to help her fight them. Loved reading their story. Thanx.

I have read several of Kai Lesy books and absolutely love them! This story is no different.🥰
Lots of body positivity. They get her to love not only them but herself first. Never let anyone stop you from shining even family. Sometimes it taks an outsider to tell us that just because they are family doesn't mean you have to believe what they say.
The characters, the plot, the story buildup all so well put together. When one door closes, another one opens. In this case, three loving, caring, protective, possessive men walk in! The love and trust they share is beautiful.
Love, care, healing and just the right amount of spice.🌶🌶 If you're into reverse harems... then this book is for you!.

Phoebe gets publicly dumped in a chat with her family members by her ex and has his best men to come to her rescue. If Phoebe decides that she’s gonna go on the honeymoon to Hawaii since it’s already paid for and in an act of bravery, she invites a three men to come with her after seeing them post a video on her being dumped.
She does not realize what she has coming for her and it’s a great happily ever after. Her family on the other hand has been trying to push her out of her trust fund and the company and you get to read all the things that she goes through along the way with her mom and her sister.
Phoebe really shows her growth pattern throughout the book along with her amazing relationship with her exes best men! Make sure to pick up a copy today you won’t regret it.
I truly enjoyed this book from start to finish. It had the perfect mix of heat and humor, balanced with just the right amount of drama and a beautiful message about found family. The MFC and the MMCs had such electric chemistry that I couldn’t stop smiling (and blushing) through half the scenes. And the best friend? Exactly the kind of ride-or-die every woman deserves in her corner.
If you love the vibes of a well-done reverse harem—steamy moments, emotional depth, and characters you want to hang out with long after the last page—then I highly recommend this book. It was such a fun, heartfelt read, and I’m already wishing I could experience it again for the first time.

There is one thing I have to say about Kai Lesy, she certainly knows how to write a story that brings everything to the table. Phoebe is stumped by her fiancé the day before the wedding, but in a public way that is supposed to shame her. She decides to go on her honeymoon holiday, which is been paid for in full and her exes, best men Dominic, August and Theo are invited to go along with her. What follows is a spicy, dramatic and action filled story where body image is the main focus of how her ex put her down, but her three men build her up so that she loves herself and then loves them. There is a happy ending and you just love this story. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book.

The first book in the Lucky Lady Reverse Harems series. The story centers on Phoebe, whose life takes an unexpected turn when her fiancé publicly breaks up with her the day before their wedding. In her devastation, she discovers a video uploaded by the groomsmen—Dominic, August, and Theo—who were furious at their friend for abandoning Phoebe and creating such a public spectacle. They publicly declare their support for her, and the four of them decide to travel to Hawaii together. When Phoebe returns, she must fight for an inheritance, and the men help her with the challenge. A perfect balance of love, care, and healing, with just the right amount of spice. I received a copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
My Ex-Fiance's Best Men is part of the Lucky Lady Reverse Harems series. What is a girl to do when she is all set to marry the man of her dreams but he turns into a huge azz. Well if there are three gorgeous and sexy best men who find you more than desirable then you find solace in a lot of sexy fun. At least that is what Phoebe does with August, Dominic and Theo when she basically dares them to come on her honeymoon in Hawaii with her to prove just how much better she deserves than her idiotic ex. These three different men all desire Phoebe and are more than game to take the bet and prove just what Phoebe deserves and make all her wishes come true.
I received this book with the understanding that I could leave a voluntary and honest review.
In this book we meet Phoebe Baldwin, Dominic Coates, August Coates, & Theo Forbes. When this book opens we find that Phoebe is being dumped the night before her wedding. All she wants is to crawl under the covers and never come out. What she didn't plan on was seeing the groomsmen on a video choosing her instead of their best friend. When Phoebe threw out the challenge to them all the guys called her bluff and take her on her honeymoon. What they all wonder is can they all have a HEA or will others make sure that never happens?
Another amazing story by this author. I would highly recommend it to anyone.
This was another engaging read that brings a gal, Phoebe, all the love she deserves after being dumped by her fiancé. Shockingly, he was supported by her mother and sister. Crazy! However, despite her family caving and being so nasty to her, the groomsmen, August, Dominic and Theo were more than ready to support Phoebe. Actually, they had long admired her kindness and how sweet she was, and they wanted more. A lot more ;P Expect to see a woman find her worth and sense of self back after the worst thing that could happen, and get all the love and devotion from from her three men. Definitely fun and spicy, this was another page turner by this author :D
Phoebe get humiliated by her fiancé when he publicly dumps her the day before the wedding. August, Dominic and Theo, the three groomsmen, step in and offer to take her on her honeymoon. This is a curvy girl romance where the three guys step-up, defend her and prop up her self-confidence. I really liked the MMC's, they were truly good guys, Phoebe was genuine but the self-deprecating got a little old after awhile and her BFF Penelope was the star to the show, everyone deserves a friend like her. This was a fun, fast paced read with villains that get their just deserts and tons of steam.

Phoebe is dumped by her fiancé the day before their wedding—and he blasts it across social media, making an already brutal moment even worse. What follows is a fantastic story filled with wonderfully written characters and a plot that truly has it all: drama, laughs, hope, love, and a hint of suspense.
With her biological family proving toxic, Phoebe finds a beautiful sense of found family in August, Dominic, and Theo—each of them charming, unique, and unforgettable.
And Penelope? She’s the fierce, ride-or-die best friend every woman wishes she had,
A fun, emotional, and satisfying read!.

I have read Kai Lesy's books before and I have enjoyed al of them including this one. The main character, Phoebe, gets dumped by her fiancé in a group chat. Instead of hiding away, she goes on a trip with her fiancé's best men. I also love that this is one of many more rh options with plus size/curvy FMCs.There is a good mix of emotional connection between the main characters, drama, humor, and steam throughout. This was a fun read that I got through in one sitting and would definitely recommend to others.

Phoebe gets dumped by text message that then goes viral on the internet, on her wedding day to boot. The groomsmen go on the internet denouncing their friendship with the groom and showing support for Phoebe. She then invites one of them to join her in Hawaii, since she still has the tickets for the honeymoon trip. All three joins her. Will they have their fun and then go their separate ways? Will the world support their fun or crucify them? Can they weather the storm no matter what they choose? Come on in and find out. You are going to swoon, rage, smile, feel the heat and not want to put the book down.
“She’s curvaceous, beautiful. She would’ve made Renaissance painters cry tears of joy.”
This was.. cute. I agree with another reviewer that pointed out that none of the men seem to have individual personalities. I also agree with wanting.. more out of this. I think Penny might be somehow the most interesting personality but even that fluctuates throughout the story. She's a real estate lawyer that all of a sudden knows how to practice this complex corporate law? Ok.
I don't think I would recommend this one to others. All of the characters cuss relatively freely, but her ass is always referred to has "buttocks".. Idk, if I were engaging in DP, I think I would refer to it as my ass.
This is such a good book I could hardly put it down. Phoebe gets dumped on the eve of her wedding via group text and post on the internet fat shaming her. Her ex 3 groomsmen don't agree with their "friend" and make a public/internet video declaring they are with Phoebe and not friends anymore with the ex. Phoebe decides to be playful and invite the guys on wat would be her honeymoon. They had a blast...Phoebe seems very happy and then stuff hits the fan in multiple big/huge ways....will Phoebe finally give into the love from the guys and be her authentic self or will her family and ex win? Read and find out...you won't be disappointed
Wowsa this book is so good and will definitely have you hooked from the beginning until the end. When Pheobe gets dumped the day before her wedding and gets humiliated on internet its her exs groomsmen who come to her rescue but will she take them up on Hawaii trip to get away from it all? This book is filled with suspense and action packed and chemistry and romance with 3 men . I throughly enjoyed this book and couldn't put it down and loved it.

I absolutely loved this book. The main characters are created with depth. The secondary characters and social media are essential to the story. Instead of the evil stepmother and stepsister, two of the villains are Phoebe's biological mother and sister. Another villain is Phoebe's ex-fiance. The three MMCs are Phoebe's greatest support. In between the plots to incriminate Phoebe, there are spicy and romantic scenes. This is not just another reverse harem story.
