Crying Blood

On the surface, Amelia appears to have it all, a good paying job, and a handsome boyfriend. Its not enough. She's almost thirty and longing for a change. She wants to settle down and, most importantly, leave her well paying job.
She is a problem solver working for the new mob based as a pharmaceutical company. During this personal crisis, she finds that someone is setting her up. Her boyfriend is involved but she doesn't know how. While running for her life, she finds romance with the man hired to kill her. Amelia fights for her life and tries to find her soul.

Jennifer Cloud was born in Asheville, North Carolina. There she met her husband who encouraged her to write after finding a partial manuscript. She now resides in Missouri with her husband and two daughters.

She is the author of many novels in both print and electronic versions. She's also had two dozen short stories published and many novellas.

She also writes as J.L. McCale

It was an amazing book, specially because I'd been looking for a story like this for a long time. It has an interesting mixture of action and romance, and the main character is very likable, a real bad-ass woman.
