This book is hard to rate. It's a question-based study guide to the book of Romans, therefore it is whatever the reader makes of it. That said, it's logically organized the the questions posed by Reapsome are the type which should generate introspection and action as well as a simple knowledge of the Biblical text. As designed it may be used both by groups or individuals seeking to understand what this epistle by Paul means for them personally.

The utility of the book would be improved by including the text of Romans to read parallel to the questions.

Since that's seems to be it's goal, I find it a very good read.

I hadn't come across Fisherman Bible Study-guides before, so thought I would try this one. I prefer them to the guides our Bible-study group uses because instead of giving you a long passage to read all at once, they break the chapter down and concentrate on a few verses at a time. The introduction says these guides can be used by groups and individuals, but I don't think they're very good for studying on your own. I didn't learn a lot, but I think you'd absorb more if you discussed the questions as a group.
