Sorry, but this book is flawed in many ways, not the least of which is the fact that all of the anecdotal stories are similar, making this a slog to read.

But when the author of the book professes to believe in psychics, mediums, intuitive healers, and hands-on energy healing, he lost me.

There's enough woo surrounding the HSP trait already on the Internet. To see it published in a book by a supposedly reputable author is appalling.

An interesting collection of personal stories of and by highly sensitive people that gives insight into how these people solves their very personal problems in a non-HSP dominated environment. The books furthermore provides many tips and help resources.

I wish I had read this earlier. There are a lot of great ideas and tips for coping with the world. It also is powerful to hear other's stories of thriving with sensitivity, when that can feel impossible it gives me some hope.
