WITCH UNIVERSITY

Rate this book
Witch University is a secret college hidden deep in New Orleans, Louisiana; where spells are studied, love is complicated, and power always comes with a price.
Only the most gifted witches are accepted, and none shine brighter than Amelia, Saratoga, and Magnolia. Together, they’re beautiful, bold, and a little dangerous. But when a night of magic goes wrong, their power draws attention from forces darker than any of them could imagine.

Between love spells, rivalries, and a warlock who can’t be trusted, the girls will discover that being the baddest witches on campus might just make them the most hunted.

I think this would make a great read for teens, especially as a soft introduction to the paranormal. I loved the urban setting, and the cover definitely pulled me in.

That said, the dynamic between two of the girls felt a bit inconsistent. It was a lot of back and forth, and I couldn’t quite tell where they stood. Were they really best friends? Because the connection didn’t fully give that for me.

This novella definitely is led by YN's and one o the main characters really annoyed me, but I had to remember that she is young and will not see the obvious things because of age. So, as a reader remember this when reading the book.

Began on Vella :)

Great storyline but....
There's no real character development. Dialogue between the characters was very childish, almost birdbrain. I dont know any teenaged girls that speak that way. Overall, with some TLC, this would be a fun read.
