I accidentally sexted my brother’s best friend. Okay… fine. It was a panic-text about a python. And now my high school crush thinks I’m the damsel in a reptile horror film.
As if that humiliation weren’t enough, I’m the maid of honor and the wedding planner for my brother’s Big Day… Which traps me in forced-proximity purgatory with Liam Rourke. The best man. He keeps showing up early. Standing too close. Saying things like, “I’ve waited a long time, Hart.” I should focus on timelines and seating charts. Instead, I’m one smirk away from climbing him like an emotional support ladder.
Somewhere between the wrong text and the right kiss… I stopped pretending he was off-limits and started wanting him like he’s already mine.
This is such a cute brother’s best friend romance. Even though you don’t get to live through them meeting for the first time, you can still feel their chemistry throughout the entire book. Paisley is helping with her brother’s wedding and guess who the best man is? Her brother’s best friend Liam. The accidental text was so cute and that really got them talking. Liam knew what to say in every situation and at times he didn’t seem real 🤣 I still ate this story up. The ending wrapped the story up with a cute little bow. It’s also a quick read.
-This is a sweet, low-drama romance built around accidental texts and a longtime crush. I received a free copy and am voluntarily sharing my honest thoughts.
Paisley and Liam’s connection is soft and easy, with Liam written as the perfect boyfriend and more. While pleasant and cozy, the lack of conflict or misunderstandings makes the story a happy read. I recommend this read with its humor and super sweet ending.
Yup this is your next romcom book to read right here. Paisley and Liam will keep you smiling and entertained throughout this entire book. It is very well written book that I enjoyed reading.
This is a sweet love story but I'm sorry to say I just didn't find it very interesting or believable. While on a horrible date Paisley accidently texts Liam, her brother's best friend and the best man in his wedding hat Paisley is planning. We are to believe that they didn't interact on a regular basis before but just one text ignites a lovestory that goes from zero to forever in a week? Also there are absolutely no problems, fights or misunderstandings that would make the book more interesting. Liam is a perfect boyfriend from day one and while some people might enjoy reading about an all-around perfect relationship I found it a bit boring I received an ARC via booksprout.co and am voluntarily leaving a review.
