Prince Kenneth really believe that he could overthrow a powerful enemy as Theo Eclipse? Theo Eclipse spent years planning to take over Albion, a young brat prince would not easily defeat him. Theo Eclipse was easily fooled which maybe his overestimated his power and influence.
At least the Prince recalculate his plans and finally is weighing the decision to go to war against his father and the other nobles also destroying The Eclipses.
Anna is going accord to Kenneth's plans even if she does not know what it is.
It was a quick reading.
Will everything finally crumble? The storyline will be very predictable from now on.

From the deaths of despair to a glimmer of hope... So fast you might get some whiplash.

This was a very fast read, I don't think it even took me a half an hour. Considering how many chapters were in the table of contents I'm surprised at how fast this read went. I don't feel like a lot of story development happened either, just a focus on making you feel really bad for the heroes and confused by the behaviors that suddenly happened between one chapter and the next.

At this point I'm very frustrated with the story, the way all the plots are pushing and the villain seems too strong... The sudden turnarounds and surprises feel very left field and forced. So rather than feeling relieved I feel more perplexed. I also feel slightly anxious with the way the stories going. I hope the next volume can ease some of these anxiety. Too bad I have to wait months for another volume that'll probably take a half hour to read...

This is a very quick read that, on the surface, doesn't seem to have a lot in the way of moving the story along, but it does reveal a good deal of Theo's plans for the Eclipse family and cements what Prince Kenneth must do in order to stop them. Anna is left in the dark at the moment, but seems to have her own ideas as far as playing along with things to gather information. Hopefully, she can reunite with her own allies sooner rather than later, especially as Theo seems quick to dismiss her as having any involvement in current matters.
