Notes: This was a surprise. It's very relatable, even the office politics were depicted realistically. Also: I don't think I can be as forgiving as the MC if my parents had been half as bad as that, but even this is realistic as a lot of us Asians have this deep-seated sense of filial piety even to parents that don't deserve it.

An interesting story, with a theme that I really like to read that is "friends to lovers" (and in this case, enemies before they become lovers). The story is to the point, and it always solves problems quickly. No secrets between them.
For those who want to read something like this, it is a good choice.

this one is hard to rate ig

like it was soo angsty and the reunion and everything was perfect - like exactly what I wanted to read, but during the angsty part Jiajia was so shameless at times, I would have to stop reading and just scream into the abyss lmfaooo. but it was a good book
