My life was flipped upside down when my sister miraculously came back from the dead, and unfortunately I was left feeling like I was back in her shadow, yet again. But all that seemed to fade away once he came strutting through my front door. He was beautiful beyond words, and had a way of talking that would make any girl fall for him, but that was the problem. Ruger:
I had never met anyone like her in my entire existence. She was snarky and sassy, and that was exactly what I loved about her. Chasing Carson is a story of a girl. One who pretends to be someone she’s not, but in doing so, she puts herself in danger. After the return of her sister Lyndley, Carson feels life is back to how it used to be- she’s just imaginary.
Ruger, her future bro-in-laws bff and another US Marshal knows that there is something between he and Carson. There are several factors that keep Ruger at bay-like her daddy will kill him!
As their worlds collide, and Carson sees something she shouldn’t. They are forced to rely on each other and feeling are obvious. When Ruger is put in harms way, Carson realizes she can’t live without him.
This story is another fabulous read by Amanda Bennett. There’s love, hottness, suspense, and a few other surprises you won’t see coming. If you loved Protecting Lyndley then you will love to hear Carson’s story… not to mention fall head over heels for Ruger!

After reading Protecting Lyndley (US Marshal #1) we couldn’t wait for book #2 in the series. (Ky is still my man - Kristy).
Clear your schedule as Amanda will have you flipping pages like a maniac with all the twists she has in this book. Just when you think you know what is going to happen, think again. This book is jammed packed with suspense, love, passion and heartbreak.
Being a US Marshall, Ruger has never had a shortage of women, a flash of his badge and they fall at his feet. That is until he meets ‘Little Lyndley’ otherwise known as Carson. Carson is sassy and unlike any girl Ruger has come across before, she’s a challenge, a challenge he going to enjoy.
Ruger and Carson have an indisputable pull towards each other, while they both have feelings for each other the cat and mouse game they continue to play with each other is at times hard. When they have both been warned off each other by family and friends things are becoming harder to ignore. The banter between the two is laced with chemistry. It’s hard for Carson being around a fine piece of a$$ like Ruger, he feels the same. Her fiery personality is holding his attention.
When Carson is in the wrong place at the wrong time she needs the help of Ruger. With these two becoming closer they give into the electrifying chemistry but when lives are on the line and twists that make you want to scream at Amanda come to light it’s so easy to get lost in this difficult, action packed passionate love story that is Ruger and Carson’s.
Hold on Ky (tighly to Kristy), you may be knocked off the top by Ruger! (Ruger is safe in Kayla’s arms) We thought we knew where this book was headed but Amanda surprised us with this one. While there were plenty of steamy scenes, there were also plenty of laughs and a few tears. We can’t wait to see where the U.S. Marshall series goes from here. Our guess is Xander will have his chance to tell his story.

Let me say that I fell for Ruger in Protecting Lyndley. He just pulled me in, so I couldn't wait for this book to come out and let me just say it did not disappoint. It's a hard book to put down. This series is full of excitement and Chasing Carson will have you biting your nails and hoping that Ruger gets past his hang up and fear of Carson's dad. Not to even mention the others who have warned him to stay away from Carson. In the beginning it leave you hoping that he can't hold off any longer and he gives he to what he wants and desires with Carson. She's different to him and you can see that from the very beginning. Big secrets are revealed and it will leave you saying "WHAT???" but in a good way.
Don't miss out on the fun and exciting ride. Amanda is a master at telling exciting and suspenseful stories.

Book 2 in the US Marshal series.
when your told to stay away from the father what do you do? of course you try but when the said girl is as captivating as Carson its testing on every level.
What do you do when the one person who is in your dreams is the one person you want the most he is playing like he doesn't want you. Easy you make him want you even more.
If you read the first book you will have met Carson and Ruger.
Dont be thinking that this book is a will they wont they book and a book that has you shouting GET TOGETHER already. No this book is so much more. it has more twists and turns than a ride at Disney land.
Just when you think all is worked out and you know where this book is heading BOOOMM it shocks you more.
There is passion, gunfire and angst and I loved every page of it.

Love this series
Took me less than 24 hours to read this book and the first in the series. Definitely worth it! I love all the characters and even though this one was almost the same as the first the characters made it a great read. It also went into the characters that we didn't hear too much of in the first book. Definitely a great ending! I wish I could start a slow clap in an amazon review! Lol

This was an awesome book, big enjoyed the characters and the story. I didn't want to put it down. nim Laughed alot. They deserve each other. But I cried at the end. Dang book made me emotional but I loved it great choice. Written well
