Black-ops Wolf shifter second chance romance
Another great slow build black-ops shifter/witch hybrid romance with wonderful chemistry between the main characters, black ops, danger, over-protective best friend's brother, second chances, great banter and a great HEA. A page turner which I couldn't put it down.
Kaleb rejected Nora when she confessed her feelings for him, claiming he was only friendly towards her for his sister. But when she's harassed by another man he claims she's dating him as it also gets his dad off his back about finding a mate. Persuading her that the fake relationship is a good idea for them both, to keep others off their backs, he's quick to move her in with him where things just heat up.

Nora confesses she has feelings for Kaleb, but he tells her he is only friendly because she is best friends with his sister. Then two things happen at once: he sees Nora being hassled by a man and his father tries to pressure him to date a woman of his choice. So, Kaleb tells everyone he is dating Nora and convinces her it is a good idea to have a fake relationship to get them off their backs!
This was such a wonderful read: the relationship between Kaleb and Nora is complicated to say the least, mix in the shelter dogs and the danger of hunting hybrids along with unpredictable magic, and it is a great page-turner.

Liked the storyline but annoyed with all the errors - wrong names or pronouns being used, incomplete sentences due to missing words, wrong words being used etc. Just plain sloppy work.
These issues have been a running theme throughout all the books I've read from this author. If it were not but for the storyline, I would have not bothered after the first books in a different series. This will be the last series I will read because the sloppiness is getting worse with each book.

Many Errors
This storyline was good, but it definitely needed to have it proofread before releasing it. There are lots of character errors in the storyline.

Review of advance copy received from Author
Book 2 of the Bel rose Black Ops Wolves by Blue Thorne is an amazing story. There is action, romance, magic and WOLVES!. The two MC's Nora and Kale are well written, engaging and Nora is a bit snarky at times. I love it! Blue's beautiful, brilliant and magical world weaves throughout the story captivating the reader. I absolutely love this book and highly recommend reading it!
