It was a shocking experience that jump-started Brenda Novak’s bestselling author career.

“I caught my day-care provider drugging my children with cough syrup and Tylenol to get them to sleep while I was away,” Brenda says. “It was then that I decided that I needed to do something from home.”

However, writing was the last profession she expected to undertake. In fact, Brenda swears she didn’t have a creative bone in her body. In school, math and science were her best subjects, and when it came time to pick a major in college, she chose business.

Abandoning her academic scholarship to Brigham Young University at the age of 20 in order to get married and start a family, Brenda dabbled in commercial real estate, then became a loan officer.

“When I first got the idea to become a novelist, it took me five years to teach myself the craft and finish my first book,” Brenda admits. “I learned how to write by reading what others have written. The best advice for any would-be author: read, read, read….”

Brenda sold her first book, and the rest is history. Now a New York Times and USA Today bestselling author, she continues to publish two or three novels a year, in a variety of genres.

Brenda and her husband, Ted, live in Sacramento and are the proud parents of five children—three girls and two boys. Now that they are empty-nesters, she spends her free time babysitting her two grandchildren.

When she’s not with her family or writing, Brenda is usually raising money for diabetes research. To date, she's raised almost $2.6 million. Her youngest son, Thad, has diabetes, and Brenda is determined to help him and others like him. She also enjoys traveling, watching sporting events and biking--she rides an amazing 20 miles every day!

REVIEW FOR STICKY by NINA LANE

‘Agony. Terror. Rage. Shame. Destruction. Ice.’

It’s been too long since we’ve had a Nina Lane book in our hands so we started this one with excited anticipation. As always her writing is flawless and she nails the emotion and passionate tension. It was raw, rough and ugly. It was dirty, sexy and addictive.

‘This wild, untamed connection between us had nothing to do with love and everything to do with surrendering to our forbidden attraction and giving free rein to the lust…’

It was a romance and a second chance at that heart palpitating love. We were championing this wild force of nature attraction that turned into so much more.

Our heroine is forty – YES! There’s just not enough heroines of this age and for the object of lustful intentions to be 32 just sealed the deal for us. Ages played no part of this story and we believed in the attraction and the romance. After all age is just a number right?

“I can only see you.”

Maddie; the epitome of perfect wife and mother. Being there for everyone else forgoing her own dreams and aspirations, asking for little in return. Being dismissed and so poised and collected does not a dreamy, sexy happy life make. Not when examined closely as we got to do. This woman is begging to be set free.

‘Why was I only myself when I was with him? How did he know? Why was he the one who had unlocked all the secret parts of my soul that I hadn’t even known existed? And why now….’

Ben, delicious domineering and sexy Ben. He came into her life in the nick of time but this story is not what it first seems and predictability does not factor at all. We were horrified as we devoured this story rooting for a conclusion that would ease our broken hearts and satisfy our racing pulses. Did we get it? You’ll have to read and see….Go, go enjoy!

‘Every part of me ached for him. My beautiful ocean boy.’

what a great box set. 13 stories for a great price. I am still reading some of the other stories but this is the best way to find new authors for me and sample their work. Julia Kent is my one click and her short story about Joe with THE RANDOM TOUR: LOS ANGELES was a great read. Her writing always makes me smile. Nicole Edwards is another favorite of mine. Her story about Tag and Mckenna is a continuation of the club destiny series. Most of the other authors are new as I said but am loving Lexi Blake LUSCIOUS story, it is set in the Masters and Mercenaries world and you just cant go wrong with that. Plus you are donating to diabetes research so pick up this set today and enjoy

Bought for lexi blake novella and was blown away as usual. I also was so looking forward to bonus story by Lisa Renee Jones, but was terribly disappointed to find it was not a new story, unlike others in anthology, but a very old story. I will not spoil which one, but don't say you were not warned. Don't want you to be disappointed. Btw, Mari Carr story also rocked!

Luscious by Lexi Blake /////
Luscious is an intersection of Lexi Blake's Topped and Masters and Mercenaries series.

Macon Miles served his country gladly, though his return to civilian life has not been easy, to say the least. A mission gone sideways costs him his leg, his wife, and his life as he knew it. As he struggles to find his place in the world again, he ends up working at Top as an assistant pastry chef. Cooking brings him a satisfaction and peace he now craves more than ever.

Allyson Jones is hired on as a waitress at Top, but she's really there for Macon. Or rather, for the answers only Macon can give her about her brother's death.

Lexi Blake does a terrific job with Macon and Ally. These two don't have an easy time of it, but the sense of connection they share and the community around them is incredible. While you don't have to have read previous stories to enjoy Luscious, you'll likely want to after!

~.:. I Received A Copy Of This Book For An Honest Review .:.~

LUSCIOUS - Lexi Blake, this was such an amazing story. while i was reading it i could feel the emotions that were written into the works. Macon Miles falls in love with the new waitress who turns out to be someone from his distant past, she is the brother of the solider that took his life while they were trapped under a vehicle. they fall in love and its raw and so intense. until he learns of her lie, that's when everything comes crashing down for him and he must make a choice to forgive the woman who he loves with his entire sole or choose to go back to a life he hates... you shall find out

WAITING FOR YOU - Mari Carr, Wow what an emotional book. it really pulls on your heart strings. two people who have loved each other for 12 years come back together after he go to the marines. When he finally decides to come back he is suffering from really bad PTSD and accidentally hits Sydney. it was an accident than makes him push her and the ones he loves away, until he can learn to deal with the stress. i loved this book, and i recommend it to everyone

CONFESSIONS OF A SEXAHOLIC - JS Cooper, Wow... i am in love with this book. the story kept me so entranced that i couldn't put it down. i love how Saskia told her story threw the eyes of a diary. it brought everything into perspective. what a different way to view a book. maybe she didn't get her happily ever after, but she got a baby and a husband who will take care of her. Loved it 100 times over.

ADORE - Nicole Edwards, this was a very sweet book. i honestly love how they were perfect for each other they take and give equally. the story was 100% romantic, even with a little bit of BDSM. i especially loved how he surprised her with the wedding and had everything planned out for her. if i had my way this would be how i want to get married.

RED HOT NIGHTS - Karen Erickson, What a perfect book. it was a nice change from the things I've been reading. i love how it was sweet threw and threw. the story line and the characters were a perfect fit for the read, everything down to the names of the characters was unique loved it all.

PERFECTLY RECKLESS - Megan Hart, This book was a good read. I will admit that sometimes it was hard getting into but u did finish it. And u am glad that Ian came to his senses and choose Maura. Even though threw journey wasn't the smoothest did they did come together in the end. Sometimes it just proves that when you want some thing bad enough sometimes you have to go threw hardships to get there. No matter where the road takes you you will always find your way.

SEDUCE ME - J Kenner, This book was a quick read. It was romantic and a perfect read. I'm very glad that Nikki and Damian helped Marcy get away from her abusive boyfriend. Love this book. It really pa he'd a punch being a quick read. But sometimes that's all you need.

RANDOM ON TOUR: LOS ANGELES - Julia Kent, This was by far my favorite book now. its about two people who have broken pasts and feel like they don't fit it. they come together and heal one another. i thought it was written perfectly. loved the story line and the characters. excited to see how the other books turn out.

UNCONVENTIONAL - Avery Aster, In this book you meet 3 people. A women who has survived breast cancer and her two lovers. The book is very emotional going threw her path to healing her soul. I thought the ending was perfect for this book.

INDECISION - Elisabeth Grace, Jamie and Jackie's story is one about overcoming ones fear and giving into love. Such a beautifully written book. It has has my emotions all over the place reading it. i was anxious and i was happy and then excited. i heart beat for this book. it was amazing, and i recommend it to everyone. Thank you for that masterpiece of a book <3

THE BILLIONAIRE YOU KNOW - Lauren Hawkeye, Such a cute and quirky little book. first of all loved that it had alot to offer being a quick read. the story line was interesting and i liked how it played out. had a perfect ending.

STICKY -Nina Lane, What a beautiful story. it had a loveless marriage with a abusive and cheating husband who thinks he can do what ever er wants. when his wife if left felling unloved and unwanted. Madeline and Ben (Mr.Hunter) the principal of the school where not only her kids go but she is the PTO President. Madeline and Ben's story is beautiful he teaches her to come out of her shell that her husband has forced her into. i will say that i don't believe in cheating or that two wrongs make a right, but this book was very empowering. she overcame her loveless marriage and was able to move on and become a better person for it. Thank you Nine.L for this book. i will cherish it forever

WONDERLUST - Roni Loren, What a roller coaster of emotions this book was. seriously, it had me laughing almost crying and nervous as hell. the story line was such a beautiful part of it. but the characters and there own stories played into as well. This book was so raw and amazing i had a hard time putting it down. loved every minute reading it. cant wait to read any others like it or by the same author =)

HOT SECRETS - Lisa Renee Jones, I found this book a perfect ending to an amazing boxset. In this book you have a girl who is amazing at her job, but it recieveing threats, when wher father askes Royce to look nito. but he didnt plan on falling in love with Lauren. I got this back when it first came out. I liked some of the authors and it was a worthy cause the sale of this book was supporting. I actually paid the $9.99 for it which is rare for me. But it sat on my to-be-read mountain for a bit until I was trying to catch up with the Masters and Mercenary series. So I dug it out. After all, I did buy the book with no qualms because of that.

LUSCIOUS by Lexi Blake (5 stars) - introduces the spin-off series Topper from from the Masters and Mercenaries series. Topper is Sean Taggart's restaurant. I you follow the Masters and Mercenaries series you know that Sean left McKay/Taggart Security to open his own restaurant and now he gets his own series. I love it! Luscious is the first book to take us into the restaurant and introduce us to some of the characters and set up a different place for former soldiers to work and re-learn to live in the world. Although I adore McKay/Taggart, I love this. This is for the soldier that doesn't want to deal with being shot at any more. The soldier who now wishes for a more passive existence. But don't get me wrong. There is still drama and excitement that can always be found a in Lexi Blake story. So still worth the read!

WAITING FOR YOU by Mari Carr (3.5 stars) - another reason I had to have this boxed set. Another of my favorite authors. Sadly, this story also stalled me. Don't get me wrong. It is a well written story. But the heroes triggers started hitting some of my triggers and well . . . don't know if I will be able to finish this or not, but for now, I have had to move on. I did finish this. It was a rather nice story with a satisfying ending - if a bit to abrupt to be believable.

CONFESSIONS OF A SEXAHOLIC by JS Cooper (2.5 stars) - I thought my diary was convoluted and bounced around. Yes, this read like someones diary. Hence we were privy to only the thoughts she was writing at the moment. In various places it is admitted that not all info is being disclosed and/or it is being colored by current emotions. So expect to be bounced around a bit. It also appears the story is not complete and potentially more to come. I was left unsatisfied and frustrated.

ADORED (Club Destiny 7.5) by Nicole Edwards (3.5 stars) - I haven't read any of the books in this series so I didn't know any of the characters or have any back story. That being said, this did kind of okay as a stand alone. Wonderful surprise and some fun. Enjoyed it enough I may be going back to find the rest of the books just to get the back stories on all the characters.

RED HOT NIGHTS by Karen Erickson - (3.5 stars) Read like possibly part of a series. Did not detract from this story. Read well as a stand-alone. But there were some secondary characters that either have or need their own stories, and that maybe there was an introductory book where the couples may have met. This was okay. Had some hot sex. Some angst. A decent story and a satisfactory ending. If there is more to this series, I may be interesting in reading them.

PERFECTLY RECKLESS by Megan Hart - (2 stars) Although this was interesting enough to keep me reading, I felt like I got whiplash. The author used the "flashback" a lot. We were back and forth on the time line so often that I sometimes got lost. Then there was a borderline ending. Not exactly a cliffhanger, but definitely a dangling thread. Wasn't pleased after I navigated through all the flashbacks so find such and unsatisfying ending.

SEDUCE ME by J. Kenner - (4 stars) This is my first introduction to this couple and this series. Needless to say, I am hooked. I will be reading more.

THE RANDOM TOUR: LOS ANGELES by Julia Kent - (4.5 stars) I have been a fan of this series since the introduction of Mavis way back when. In spite of the usual Mavis antics, this story was rather intense. Highly emotional. This couple had some real heavy issues to work through. An intense read with real impact.

UNCONVENTIONAL (The Manhattanites) by Avery Aster - (

When you can get a boxed set full of stories from some of our most prolific and best selling contemporary romance authors and help fund diabetes research in the process, I ask you, where’s the downside? Answer... there is none! This book contains stories from authors such as Lexi Blake, Mari Carr, J.S. Cooper, Nicole Edwards, Karen Erickson, Megan Hart, J. Kenner, Elisabeth Grace, Lauren Hawkeye, Nina Lane, Roni Loren, Lisa Renee Jones, and my personal favorites Avery Aster, and Julia Kent.

I have to admit so far I have only made it through Julia’s story, but I am in LOVE with it! I truly would have purchased this book for hers and Avery Aster’s stories alone. I’m reading Avery’s story next. Julia’s story blew me away though. It was so real and true and intimate and of course it’s not a Julia Kent book without a few LOL moments. The story is a continuation of her Random Acts series, but you really don’t have to have read the other books in the series to enjoy this story at all. I would definitely encourage you to read the other books in the series because they are incredible, but don’t let not having read them stop you from reading this story because it will not hinder your enjoyment of this story in the slightest. Seeing the love story develop between these two individuals, who are both damaged in their own ways, was nothing short of magical. Julia, you have outdone yourself my dear!

I have also read almost every one of the other authors featured in this boxed set in the past and absolutely loved their work, so I can’t wait to continue reading this set because I know I’m going to love the stories put forth by these wonderful and very talented authors. Some of the stories are new stand alones, while others are continuations of a series which will probably get you hooked and open up a whole new world of potential reading material for you. Who knows? You may even find a new book boyfriend... or two, but you can’t find them unless you read the book. Purchase and read this book and support a very worthy cause while doing it!

* I was given an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Reviewed Luscious by Lexi Blake

Another great Master and Mercenaries story by Lexi Blake. I am a huge fan of the Master and Mercenaries series and Macon and Ally are great additions.

Macon Miles was fighting a war and lost, now he's back drowning in self pity until his brother Adam rescues him and brings him home.

Sarah Allyson Jones has lost her family, her foster brother and soon after her foster mother. Her mother wanted to know the truth about her sons death and Ally was determined to grant her mother's final wishes. When she arrives at 'Top' to confront the one person who has the answers, she discovers that her attraction to Macon leaves her wanting more.

The story is filled with regret, remorse, heart-ache and courage. Macon and Ally struggled with their past, they kept secrets that eventually tear them apart. Ally suffers from low self-esteem because of her childhood before she found her foster family. Macon also suffers from a lack of love he didn't receive as a child. Macon was raised to play a part and when he was permanently injured his family all but left him, with the exception of Adam. When Ally starts to fall in love with Macon, she leaves her quest behind to find out the truth about her brother. She knows in her heart that Macon is not to blame. It's Adam who protects his brother by exposing the truth. Adam quickly realizes that there is more to the truth than meets the eye but is it too late? Is the damage done? Can Macon recover from the hidden secret?

Ally is truly a beautiful woman. She's may have had a rough life but she would do anything for her family and friends. She's sees Macon's true beauty. She's loyal, non-judgmental and self-reliant. Macon was living in pain, he struggled to come to terms with his past. Ally made him face it straight on. With some assistance from Sean Taggart, Macon gets his life back on track. He begins his journey to make peace with his past and most importantly Tag doesn't lose his pie maker.

Some of the books in this set were fantastic, while others I either didn't like or didn't read, but overall I give the set 4 Stars. A great set for a GREAT cause! My breakdown by book is as follows:

Luscious-**** This was my first Lexi Blake book, but it won't be my last. I really liked the characters in her Masters and Mercenaries world.

Waiting For You-**** Loved this second chance romance with soldier returning to the girl he left behind.

Confessions of a Sexaholic-** Didn't like this one. I found the back and forth from past to present without good transitions very confusing, and the mc wasn't likable at all.

Adored-***** LOVED, LOVED, LOVED the chance to reconnect with the characters of Nicole Edwards' Club Destiny series!! This book alone was worth getting the set.

Red Hot Nights-**** I had read the first book in this series, so was familiar with the characters and enjoyed reading about their continued relationship.

Perfectly Reckless-* Really didn't like the characters in this one, or the dynamic of their relationship.

Seduce Me-**** Fun bonus story from the Stark Ever After series. I loved getting more Nikki and Damien!

Random On Tour-**** This was my first time reading Julia Kent and I found this book to be funny and the characters quirky. A very fun read.

Unconventional-* DNF I just couldn't even finish this book. Had to stop after two chapters. Didn't like the characters and the dialog was painful to read.

Indecision-*** Quick, easy read with likable characters.

Billionaire You Know-*** Another quick read. Enjoyed the story of falling for the best friend.

Sticky-DNF I just can't get into a book about a selfish snob cheating.

Wanderlust- Didn't Read

This is an amazing boxed set...it has 13 authors of which some I have read but others are new to me!  I received an advance copy of this from Julia Kent as it includes her book in the Random Acts of Crazy series called The Random Tour: Los Angeles...this is Maggie and Tyler's story...both are broken in their own way...Maggie was assaulted and Tyler well you will need to read this to find out exactly what happened. Random Acts are getting ready for their first big break and Joe (along with Trevor and Darla) has an incident in which Joe is hurt and can not play...in steps Tyler to take over for Joe until he is able to play again.. Tyler can not believe his luck..(finally some good luck) until he goes home and his brother steals his phone, his wallet and his guitar! Tyler and Maggie are thrust together in a long long ride to LA! We have an incident with gummy bears from Darla that is less than fun! I have loved this series from the beginning and this one touches on a delicate subject of rape which Julia Kent handles beautifully...with respect, understanding and love. The other exciting thing about this boxed set is that all the proceeds benefit Diabetes Research...Please take a chance and get this you will not be sorry that you took that chance.

Great way to give to support a great cause of Diabetes research as well as read 13 books from great authors. I love to read and this book took me about a week to read thru it. Each story is a full size book so you are not short changed at all. All of my favorite authors are in here.
Lexi Blake continues her Masters & Mercenaries series with Macon and Ally's story Book in 8.25.

If you like Julia Kent you will be excited because not only did she just release a new Random Act of Crazy books there is a another one in this series as well Tyler and Maggie's story The Random Tour: Los Angeles.

Marri Carr's WAITING FOR YOU is a very emotional book.

Nicole Edwards's- Adore... This is my very favorite author of all times so let me just say anything and all things she writes is wonderful and she did not disappoint in this book AT ALL!

Avery Aster's UNCONVENTIONAL I love her books and this triad i have been waiting to see where their story would go and was very glad to see it went where i wanted them to be.

Elisabeth Grace's INDECISION Jackie and Jamie's story is about overcoming fear and falling in love. I loved it so much i picked up the next set of books in this series

This is a great set grab it and read it

While to date I've read only five of the thirteen collected novellas, so far this box set is fantastic.

'Lucious' by Lexi Blake (part of the Masters & Mercenaries series) and Mari Carr's 'Waiting For You' (the start of Ms. Carr's new series set in Sparks, Texas) were extremely enjoyable. I'm looking forward to catching up on the former series and continuing to follow the latter.

But it is Julie Kent's 'Random on Tour: Los Angeles' that is the real standout for me. This story wrecked me and I loved it. While I strongly recommend reading the Random Acts series since the story is set in the same universe, it can be read as a stand-alone. Both of the main characters, Maggie and Tyler, have traumatic pasts which color how they deal with each other and those around them. Through a series of events, Maggie ends up driving Tyler from Missouri to California. Needless to say all those hours together, as well as a shared bad candy incident, lead to revelations both expected and unexpected. I've read everything Ms. Kent has published and 'Random on Tour: Los Angeles' is hands down my favorite. Don't miss it.

I was gifted an ARC in exchange for an honest review. I have been deeply drawn into the various stories by the authors. I now have some catching up since though they are stand Aline's you do have a cliffhanger, a part to a series etc... You see where I'm going. It was well worth reading. I still have a two more books to go but I doubt they will change my high option of what I have read so far. I will say I was disappointed at the end of one off the stories. I was routing for the other guy but that's just me. That didn't take anything away from how good the story was though. This has a wonderful lineup of authors a few that were new to me and others that I have read before a love. I'll be defiantly picking up some more books. I'm glad Avery Aster had more of the crew I enjoy those Manhattanites. Lexi Blake has me hooked on her series. Lauren Hawkeye is another author that I have been reading for awhile now. Just a awesome group of writers. I highly suggest picking this up. Mature adults since it has so smoking hot scenes.

I received a copy of this anthology in exchange for an honest review. I did also purchase the set as I wanted to support the cause: Diabetes Research for the cure. I haven’t finished all the books yet but I wanted to tell you about two that I absolutely loved. Avery Aster’s contribution is Unconventional (The Manhattanites). What a hoot! In my opinion, she nailed the heritage part of this triad. Momma Mia! Rocco, Jemma and Luigi make such a wonderful family and the heartfelt-ness (how’s that for a word???) of the “boys” is just amazing. Jemma’s personality is right on the money, again in my opinion! Really good story and piece of her series. Great job, Ms. Aster! And of course, I loved Lauren Hawkeye’s The Billionaire You Know – classic Lauren story! OMG, the tension between Jack and Liz? It’s what Ms. Hawkeye does best, of course! These two make the pages sizzle. Whew! All in all, a great assembly of amazing reads – and such support for a great cause. Read and buy this one, people! You won’t be sorry.

Great collection of stories!

Overall a great collection of hot stories!
I bought it for Julia Kent's Random on Tour: Los Angeles - loved it! Her romantic comedies are fabulous, but the serious ones take it to a whole new level. I loved Maggie and Tyler and their whole journey. Very emotional, but so strong and gripping. I want more!
J. kenner's Seduce Me was a great new find- I'm now hooked on the Stark books! Damian and Nikki are so addictive I stopped this book and tore through all their books and started in on the international series. This book in their series was fun and light.
Roni Loren's Wanderlust and Lisa Renee Jones's Hot Secrets both deserve honorable mentions. Strong woman and the sexy men who love them! I didn't want either story to end and I will be looking for more of their works.
I really enjoyed: Lexi Blake's Luscious, Mari Carr's Waiting for You, Nicole Edward's Adored, Karen Erickson's Red Hot Nights, Elizabeth Grace's Indecision, and Lauren Hawkeye's The Billionaire you Know.

5+ Stars.

This book was fantastic! Every single story had something amazing to offer.
I can't say that I loved any story more than the previous because they each had their own element of surprise. Yeah...surprise it was. I have never had a book with so many different authors that I can honestly say there was not one bad story.
I have found myself a whole new slew of authors that I will checking out.

From the first story of a man who suffered from PTSD to the very last by Lisa Renee Jones (who is an author I already follow) each one overwhelmed me with great characters, stories that touched and even a few that really shocked me (confessions of a sexaholic). There are some of my favorite authors in here....Avery Aster and the Manhattanites always hold a special place on my bookshelf, Lexi Blake, J. Kenner, Julia Kent and a great group of new authors to me.

I can't pick a favorite but I HIGHLY RECOMMEND you to buy this one. You will not be disappointed. I surely wasn't.

A fantastic read for a wonderful cause

Wonderful stories, excellent writing, all for a cause that is close to the heart of more and more Americans. This collection contains some of the best long and short stories I have read in recent months, written by authors most romance fiction fans recognize easily. Lost loves, second chances, strong women, alpha males, they are all here. The first such collection raised significant funds for diabetes research and these author's have contributed their expertise and creativity in order to continue that fund raising effort. Add in the really fantastic stories, many of which are some of the most romantic and erotic around, and it only makes good sense to latch on to it.

Awesome Collection

I read Random on Tour: Los Angeles by Julia Kent

There are so many great stories in this boxed set. I can't wait to read more. I love this series. It's a nice change of pace from the typical romance stories I read. It's full of humor. You never know what quirky thing the band members of their ladies are gonna get themselves into. There is never dull moment that's for sure. This one had a more serious backstory to it and I enjoyed that about this one. Two people from two very different backgrounds have something in common from their pasts. They are both in need of someone to help them through their tragedies. The only difference is Maggie knows this and Tyler thinks he's got it all managed. Watching their story unfold was very touching.

I've only read Lexi Blake's Luscious, but even if the other 12 books were crap (which I seriously doubt), this is still an excellent weekend read. Although full disclosure: I got this one on sale at 2.99. I liked how she "wooed" the pie maker (Ian's words, not mine) after she broke him. I liked his reaction even more. The scene where he was about to confront her to make her stop with the "offerings" was phenomenal. Oh, and even though this is a novellla, it definitely doesn't leave you wanting more.

May God forgive me, but I'm almost tempted to wish for time to speed up so I can read Master No and Adored already! (yeah, don't wanna read Adored yet because it might make me yearn for Master No even more).

I love that ll these talented author have given their time and work to such a great cause.

The stories are hot. romantic, sexy and sweet. Just when I thought I found the book that I loved the most in the set, I read the next book and fall in love with that one and just could not have a favorite.

Some of these authors were new to me and their work in this set only made me want to read more of their books.

This is one of those box set that you just can't pass up, for the great reads and the even greater cause.

13 Authors in one amazing place writing for such a great cause!! I read the box set because it had a number of authors that I already loved and followed their work. Then, it also had a few authors I was introduced to their work for the first time. After that I busted my reading budget for the month by one-clicking all the new authors books!! This is a jam packed box set that will have you going threw a number of emotions while reading. Each author has there own style of story telling which makes each story different. So put some time a side, sit back, and enjoy some wonderful reads.

Decisions, decisions ... I should buy the box set because it supports Brenda Novak’s foundation for Diabetes Research. Buuut, at the moment, I'm really only lookin' to read Lexi Blake's short Luscious, which she says, "marks the beginning of a new phase of Masters and Mercenaries. Luscious is the first book set in Top, Sean Taggart’s restaurant." And, she mentioned she plans to release said short sometime in July.
