This may as well be a different book series entirely. The only thing that remained consistent from the previous 6 books is the character names. It’s as if the author didn’t remember anything written in the previous work. Character descriptions, mannerisms, and even past character deaths have all been altered. I’m astounded this was even allowed to be published. It’s infuriating to anyone who actually got invested in the series.
