Good horror short
This is short, fast paced read that will have you reeling at the end.
The family of Alex, Bob and Ellen decide to take in one of their favorite activities—fishing. During the normal outing, they catch a few fish, but as the sun begins setting, Bob and Alex notice a pair of sinister red eyes peering from across the river. Not wanting to take any unnecessary chances with the local wildlife, Bob decides it’s best to pack up and go home, but not before Alex becomes the proud owner a black ferret he rescues from the water.
What happens in the end will have your skin crawling, that is, if it isn’t stripped from your body!
This story could use another good going over. Too many name tags, which interrupt the flow and a few words are used much too often.
Still, this is a great little tale of horror.
