Ruthless: A gripping revenge thriller

Rate this book
Revenge is a dish best served with the thwack of a hockey stick.

They had hurt her, and Debbie was going to hurt them back, no matter the price.

All my life, I had grazed oblivious that I was a gazelle and there for the taking. Now I had been made aware of how the world perceived me; his lion status made me sick.

I was going to kill him.

Then I was going to seek out the rest of them and hurt them a thousand times more than they hurt me.

I would be ruthless.

From Tom Stearns, author of Jenna and Wrong Place, Wrong Time, comes his latest page-turning revenge thriller, Ruthless.

Another great read from Tom Stearns! How far would you go to get revenge on those who hurt you….badly? Told from the victims, sorry survivors, point of view the story builds up the character as she reinvents herself in order to survive.
Followers of his books will recognise a familiar character lending a hand from his earlier stories. It can be read as a stand alone but I recommend Jenna and Awakenings as a cracking series for you to get stuck into.

I loved this! It might be my favourite one of Mr Stearns now.
The quips and the humour were right up my street. This would almost be my reaction to this situation word for word.
I loved all the jokes about getting old too. Perfection. I nearly finished it in one sitting but couldn’t because of “real life”.
The ingenious and disgusting things that happen are indescribable. That first guy she got, the cellophane oh my god that was a genius idea!
I shouted out loud when certain things in the plot made themselves known and the ending. More perfection!
I am still a bit speechless about this one but I want it to be known this is beyond a rave review!
