It all started in first grade when Cat Johnson won the essay contest at Hawthorne Elementary School and got to ride in the Chief of Police's car in the Memorial Day Parade...and the rest, as they say, is history. As an adult, Cat generally tries to stay out of police cars and is thrilled to be writing for a living. She has been published under a different name in the Young Adult genre, but released her first romance in 2006.
Today, she is a NY Times & USA Today best-selling, award-winning author of contemporary romance. A promo ho, she's sponsored real live bull riding cowboys and promoted romance using bologna.
Absolutely exciting to see the gang again, everyone gets along with each other, until Natalie sits on a panel with a very wrong, very pompous professor that thinks he knows everything, including the founding families of Mudville, public and Facebook arguments between them get blown out of proportion when his body and ghost end up in Liam's lab, then it's all hands on deck to prove him wrong with their secret stash of papers found in the wall of her shop, another phenomenal addition to the series, thrilling through the entire story, always hilarious reading the interaction with the living and the deceased and Natalie is the only one who can hear them, thank you Cat Johnson for another phenomenal story, and I'm hoping for more from the gang, Dana Zamora
Natalie and Liam are again trying to solve a murder but is it really a murder?
Natalie and Professor Lionel got I to a verbal war after they both were on a panel together. Then he ends up dead and by coincidence Liam get his cadaver to study the brain. He convinces Natalie to help him finish writing his book to get it published. While doing this the are also trying to figure out if he was really murdered like Lionel believes or was it a heart attack? How will they get the police to believe her and her information without telling them she got the information from ghosts? Was it a heart attack or murder and if murder, who did it and why?
Wow! Cat has done it again! This time Natalie meets an unsavory character when she agrees to a panel in Salem (of all places). About a month later she encounters him again as a ghost. Very interesting character to get under Natalie's skin. It comes down to her to solve his murder. She also agrees to publish his last book - with Harper's help, of course. Glad everyone, living and ghosts alike, are able to solve two mysteries. FANTASTIC job Cat! I would recommend this book!
