He’s not safe. He’s not even human. So why can’t I stop myself falling for him?I thought the worst part of Christmas would be spending it alone. Then a snowstorm leaves me stranded on a remote mountain road—and rescued by the hottest man I’ve ever met. He’s tall, broad-shouldered, his piercing eyes are impossibly magnetic… and his horns are definitely not human.
Abaddon calls himself a demon, his voice rumbles like thunder, and he’s hiding a dangerous secret. Staying far away from him would be the smart thing to do, right? But neither of us are going anywhere while the blizzard rages outside, and the longer we’re trapped in his cabin, the harder resisting him becomes…
Fans of fated mates, protective alien heroes, and holiday happily-ever-afters will swoon for Snowed in with the Demon Lord, a short, steamy Christmas novella and part of the Monsters and Mistletoe shared author series.
He’s not human, but he might be everything she needs.
All Holly wants is to escape Christmas heartbreak. Instead, a snowstorm wrecks her car and nearly ends her trip before it begins. She wakes up in a remote cabin with a massive, red-skinned demon who tells her she’s safe and insists she stay put. He’s gruff, guarded, and definitely not human, but there’s more to him than horns and hellfire.
Abaddon’s been alone for years, exiled from his realm and barely holding on. Then a bold, sarcastic human crashes into his life, refusing to be intimidated and asking all the questions he doesn’t want to answer. She’s chaos in a snowstorm and somehow the one thing grounding him when everything else starts to fall apart.
As their uneasy truce deepens into something neither of them expected, secrets crack wide open. The magic keeping Abaddon tethered is breaking, and Holly may be the only reason he’s still standing. When danger finds them, they’ll have to fight for each other and for the fragile bond that’s become everything.
A storm brought them together. Trust makes them stay. And love may be the only thing strong enough to hold them in a world trying to pull them apart.
Holly grows from impulsive and hurting to someone fierce, loyal, and willing to risk everything for the one she loves. Abaddon shifts from shut-off and surviving to protective, tender, and ready to fight for more than just his own life. What starts as tension turns to partnership, and their slow burn becomes an inferno.
A steamy, snowed in, grumpy sunshine, fated mates paranormal romance set at Christmastime, where forced proximity ignites emotional connection and changes everything. It’s about survival, trust, choice, identity, and finding love in the unlikeliest place. At its heart, it’s about being seen, chosen, and loved exactly as you are.
The Elevator Pitch: A woman stranded in a mountain blizzard is rescued by a horned, brooding demon with secrets buried deep beneath the snow. Trapped together in his cabin, tension simmers into heat as survival, magic, and fate twist their lives together. It's a steamy, emotional romance where love rewrites the rules of two worlds.
Snowed In with the Demon Lord by Leslie Chase is the ultimate fantasy romance for anyone who’s ever craved danger, desire, and a little holiday heat. It’s equal parts heart-pounding and heart-melting—a story that turns isolation into intimacy and fear into something achingly beautiful.
When Holly’s Christmas plans fall apart, she expects loneliness—not a life-changing blizzard, a broken-down car, and a rescuer who’s anything but human. Abaddon isn’t your typical hero—he’s tall, dark, horned, and carrying enough secrets to fill the mountain they’re stranded on. Yet in his quiet strength and tortured gentleness, there’s something magnetic, something that makes you want to believe monsters can be more human than men.
As the storm howls outside, what unfolds inside Abaddon’s remote cabin is more than just attraction—it’s connection. Holly’s vulnerability, her humor, her courage to see the man behind the demon… it all makes this story pulse with raw emotion. Chase doesn’t just write chemistry—she writes electricity, the kind that burns through fear and lights up the coldest winter night.
This book is for readers who love a touch of danger with their desire, who believe redemption can come wrapped in claws and warmth, and who know that sometimes, the person who saves you doesn’t look like anyone you expected.
Snowed In with the Demon Lord is a sinful, snow-dusted escape that proves love can thaw even the most frozen of hearts. Just don’t blame us if you start wishing your next snowstorm comes with horns.

Holly, seeking escape from a broken engagement, finds herself literally crashing into the arms of the Demon Lord Abaddon after a brutal snowstorm strands her on a remote mountain road. Abaddon is gruff and brooding, but Holly's sassy, unflappable attitude is the perfect balance to his guarded nature.
The chemistry between them quickly transforms from an uneasy truce into a steamy connection. The story manages to weave in a surprising amount of world-building and plot, revealing Abaddon's vulnerability and the danger following him from his demon realm.
Holly doesn't shy away from the demon Abaddon is, and his journey from a shut-off survivor to a fiercely protective partner makes him a swoon-worthy MMC. A great read for readers looking for a delightful, sinful holiday escape!

This was a cute engaging romance story that's about Holly our human and Abaddon our demon. Holly and Abaddon made me chuckle with their dialog and their chemistry sizzled. The demon dog was cute too. Holly is expecting to spend a lonely Christmas in the cabin that she rented for her and her boyfriend, Jerry. After breaking up with him, she's driving to the cabin on snowy night. Then her car hit something in the road and her car spun and hit a tree down in the ditch. Getting out walking the road Holly is found by Abaddon who takes her to his cabin. Now they're snowbound together during the Christmas season. What occurs is an enjoyable steamy story with likable characters that I'd received and volunteer to read and review in this series.
I initially thought this was an alien romance, assuming the MMC was an alien lord stranded on Earth, but it turns out he's from another realm. I really enjoyed the story; it kept me guessing what would happen next and when the FMC would play a bigger role in his life. The FMC is quite impulsive and doesn't always respect boundaries, but thankfully, the MMC is patient, understanding, and smitten with her. She’s also incredibly brave and smart. I appreciated the protective gestures from the MMC, which added a warm touch to the story. Overall, it was a lovely story—though some aspects were left unresolved.

This was an awesome fast paced novella!
I loved the chemistry and banter between Abaddon and Holly was so good. I love that she isn't afraid to step up and tell him off. The spice was hot as hell, and will definitely warm you up.
The pacing and worldbuilding were so good, and I also loved that we got a ton of backstory about Abaddon and how demons work. I wasn't expecting that from a short novella and it was a great surprise! I hope that this means we will see more stories set in this world.
Overall this was a fantastic quick read with a lot of depth.
What an awesome short monster romance! I love Holly’s sassy, take no flack (you’re welcome Amazon…no swears here…) attitude…and how she totally calls out Abaddon when he’s being an overbearing or presumptuous Demon Lord😉🤭🤩😂….
I also love it when she gets Abbadon to really let loose with her🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
It starts as what seems like just a steamy romp in a cabin…But turns out to have some nice light plot, a little action, a lot of love and a surprisingly adorable and ginormous Hellhound😍.

-A blizzard, a broken heart, and a demon with secrets—this story turns isolation into irresistible intimacy. I received a free copy and am voluntarily sharing my honest thoughts.
Holly and Abaddon’s chemistry burns through the snow, mixing humor, heat, and a hint of danger. The demon lord’s gruff tenderness and Holly’s fearless warmth make this an enchanting holiday escape.
Steamy, emotional, and full of heart, an enjoyable winter read.
Well it wasn’t short but it was good. Holly is going thru a tough breakup so she goes to a cabin. She gets stranded and rescued by abbadon. He is a hot demon who doesn’t want her around because he instantly likes her and doesn’t know why. Holly is very opinionated and that gets her in a bit of trouble. There is some things I wasn’t expecting and they were great. So I’m ready for the next book by this author.

'Why does it matter? What does one mortal life mean to a lord of Dis? I snarled at myself for getting attached, then turned away. I had more important things to do than worry about my feelings. And yet, I could not keep my mind off her. Or my eyes, for that matter.'
I enjoyed this book. Good world building and wonderful characters. I loved both Holly and Abaddon. I liked the dynamic between them and the way their relationship developed. The way they connected and their chemistry. This story was a fast-paced adventure with suspense, danger, and action. 4 stars

Snowed in with the Demon Lord by Leslie Chase is part of the Monsters and Mistletoe series. Holly gets into an accident on the way to her Christmas cabin and winds up saved by a giant red demon named Abaddon who has fled Hell after an attack by Baal. The two enjoy a very merry time together before an enemy minion nearly does in them both. All is well in the end, though.

This was such a fun grumpy/sunshine addition to the series and I loved seeing Holly and Abaddon work their way to a fab HEA. Theirs is a fated mates connection with plenty of challenges. It's also a story of trust and choice. When Holly gets rescued by Abaddon and they stay in his cabin, well, lets just say that things unfold pretty quickly between them ;P With danger, drama, twists and hot romance, this was an engaging holiday 'monster' romance. Good fun!
It's unfair how hot Abaddon is...who doesn't want a tall, dominant yet doting demon lord for a lover? Holly might have wrecked her car on her way to her Christmas cabin but Abaddon ruined her for all human men 😏😉. An exiled demon lord MMC and a semi-heartbroken yet fierce FMC, what's not to love. They had a rocky start, hesitantly keeping secrets from one another and slow to trust; but they eventually drop pretenses and gave into their desires & true feelings. It is insta-love which might be everyone's cup of tea but definitely appropriate for Novella November!
3,5/5 It was an overall cute novella but it felt ... long to me, like the story was dragging. Is he an alien or a demon ? it was still a cute story. I liked the characters personnalities and call back to a famous myth at the end (though I don't see how it's practical in modern society lol. But I don't think I caught her job so I imagine it's working for them). The spicy part was good.

This is an unexpected burst of fun, adventure, and heat. Lots of heat, spicy and flame, given the demon lord and his hellhound. Abaddon and Holly make a great team despite the imbalance of so-called power and strength; there are many layers to power and all kinds of strength. I love Belial as the ultimate sidekick.

This is a great story with good guys, bad guys, romance, spice and the sweetest hellhound ever! Holly is the type of character that tries to do the right thing but it ends up having disastrous consequences. Abaddon is sweet and caring for a demon. I love the chemistry and the banter as it makes this story. I have to say that I love Belial, he is soooo cute! This is a great fun-filled, spicy, romantic read!
This Book 2 in The multi-author Monsters and Mistletoe Book Series has a well-written Sci-Fi/Fantasy Romance Story, a well-crafted world, and intriguing characters who are protective, intriguing and stuck in a storm. These characters have unique personalities, complicated histories, and believable interactions. This story has fated mates, forced proximity romance, action, adventure, twists, turns, chemistry, and love.
This was a fun read. We have the demon Abaddon who has willingly locked himself in the human realm. His hellhound Belial who causes the accident that lands Holly in his cabin. Holly just wants to keep her rented cabin in the slowly mountains for Christmas. Getting over her cheating ex with a demon lord wasn’t on the agenda at all. But when in snow do as the feelings want lol.
I love the guys who are so grumpy, except for the girl who steals their heart. Just make you smile while you are reading, even if you are out in public and people are around looking at you like, what's that crazy woman smiling at her phone for???.

Holly's snowy demise gets diverted by a hunky Abaddon Demon Lord of Dis. Good thing he brings his own heat. Dealing with the blizzard, a very rude uninvited guest, and commuting logistics leaves plenty of room for festive holiday spice!.

Holly and Abaddon are a hot couple! Holly brings new life to Abaddon and helps him triumphantly get back home to hell. All without losing the love they have found together. A very satisfying happily ever after.

Action-Packed and Hellishly Hot! Holly is having a rotten Christmas - first a cheating now ex-, then a blizzard on the way to her holiday cabin. Abbadon isn’t thrilled about his exile being disturbed, but her rescue’s Holly anyway. I loved how these two flip the switch so quick from irritated to destroying a couch together (in a good way). A fun and fiery Christmas read.
The idea of a demon hiding out in the mountains is darkly funny. His having a hellhound named Balial is cute. His rescuing a damsel in distress is so sweet. Whether he wants to be or not, this demon lord of hell is as sweet as a snowcone. His action in the sack is hot as hell.

Her car crashed and woke up in a cabin. A very hot cabin and a red hot demon (not just his looks). As they handle a few adventures (like escaping hell fire and a gargoyle seeker), their feelings grow for each other and they get their HEA. I enjoyed this story and you will too.
I loved the book all parts of it were amazing. The spice oh my god was amazing I have a special place for paranormal romance something about just happy squeal.
