Christmas at Wolf Creek: a fun filled family Christmas

Rate this book
A bridge between two worlds

In this heartwarming Christmas tale that bridges the Changing of the Guards and Wolf Creek series, the powerful MacGallan Mafia family becomes a beacon of hope for Ella and her daughter, Nora, after living in seclusion in the Alberta foothills of the Rocky Mountains for the past eight years. With the MacGallans in Pinecrest, tensions rise, especially for their reclusive neighbor, Jake Brennan, who grapples with heartache from his past. As the community comes together for a magical Christmas and a town-wide gingerbread competition, the looming threat of Mikhail, Ella's ex, a man who doesn't know his daughter exists, forces everyone to confront their fears. With new bonds forming and love strengthening, the stakes are high as they strive to protect each other and create the Christmas they all deserve. Amidst the challenges, the spirit of family and hope shines bright, paving the way for a future filled with possibilities.

Dear Reader,
Christmas at Wolf Creek is a bridge story between two series, Changing of the Guards and Wolf Creek. I strongly recommend beginning with Savior, then Salvation, Sanctuary, and Blindsided, before starting this, as all characters from each book appear in all the books, and you will then experience that close connection with the family.

Love how this book included all the members of the McGallan family. The story had everyone's POV which was very interesting to see how they were bonding as a found family with the gingerbread house building, the ski event (aka the skiing debacle for some family members), and Christmas Eve/Christmas day get together. I like how we got a glimpse into Ella and Jake's upcoming relationship and I can't wait to read their story.

This is the book that brings all of the siblings together and introduces you to the sister and niece they never knew. Ella and Jake have been neighbors for years and all of a sudden he’s really taken a liking to her because she’s been getting to know her siblings. He doesn’t trust them even though all they are trying to do is keep her and her daughter safe. Well all I have to say is that he has some serious groveling to do.

Another Clear Winner !!!

Mafia men and cowboys - what more could a gal ask for? This delightful Christmas story acts as a bridge between Aquila’s Changing of the Guards series, which I love, and her new Wolf Creek series which I am really looking forward to. The multiple POVs really work and add dimension to the storyline. Great book!!!

Loved this story.

The MacGallans are still trying to get to know each other and become family. There is still danger that lurks, but they are trying to make Christmas great. The neighbor is tryin to figure it all out, but he may actually have feelings for Ella,. But he is having trouble with his past. This was a great read.

What a way to transition!?!

Love this book as the final in the Changing of the Guard series and also a transition over to the Wolf Creek Series! I cannot wait to see more of Jake and all the MacGallans! Twist and turns around every corner in this book and I love the relationship development!

Enjoyed seeing the characters from the Changing of the Guard series appear here in the crossover beginning to the Wolf Creek series. Looking forward to the Wolf Creek series and getting updates about the various progeny of Tomas MacGallan along the way

I loved this book! The way it ties the series together is great. The snow skiing chapter had me laughing so hard! It was definitely my favorite chapter. I can’t wait to see where this goes next!

This is the prelude book to the new series featuring Ella, Kane and the Wolf Creek Ranch. It’s Christmas time and it’s the first Christmas for the MacGellan clan. Borrowed this from Kindle Unlimited.
