Rate this book
From Ilona Andrews, #1 New York Times bestselling author, the thrilling conclusion to her first trilogy within the Hidden Legacy series, as Nevada and Rogan grapple with a power beyond even their imagination…

Nevada Baylor can’t decide which is more frustrating—harnessing her truthseeker abilities or dealing with Connor “Mad” Rogan and their evolving relationship. Yes, the billionaire Prime is helping her navigate the complex magical world in which she’s become a crucial player—and sometimes a pawn—but she also has to deal with his ex-fiancée, whose husband has disappeared, and whose damsel-in-distress act is wearing very, very thin.

Rogan faces his own challenges, too, as Nevada’s magical rank has made her a desirable match for other Primes. Controlling his immense powers is child’s play next to controlling his conflicting emotions. And now he and Nevada are confronted by a new threat within her own family. Can they face this together? Or is their world about to go up in smoke?

Adapted from the novel and produced with a full cast of actors, immersive sound effects and cinematic music!

Ilona Andrews is the pseudonym for a husband-and-wife writing team. Ilona is a native-born Russian and Gordon is a former communications sergeant in the U.S. Army. Contrary to popular belief, Gordon was never an intelligence officer with a license to kill, and Ilona was never the mysterious Russian spy who seduced him. They met in college, in English Composition 101, where Ilona got a better grade. (Gordon is still sore about that.)

Gordon and Ilona currently reside in Oregon with their two children, three dogs and a cat. They have co-authored two series, the bestselling urban fantasy of Kate Daniels and romantic urban fantasy of The Edge.

Love this series so much! I eagerly waited on the GA release of the series and the first two were... underwhelming due to a number of factors, but this one remedied many of the issues I had with how the first two titles turned out and resulted in a much better production. The voice actors settled into the roles and match the characters and their behaviors in a much more satisfactory manner. The music choices were very good.
It looks like GA has the next entry in the series, Diamond Fire, available for preorder. I'll be preordering and listening to this series again before the release.

Amazing!!! I tired so hard to let it last but I was only able to make it 4 days. Better than 1 I guess. I didn’t particularly care for the voice they chose for Linus, but the rest was amazing.

Graphic Audio: I have to say, this is my favorite novel of Nevada’s three books. This Graphic Audio production is a standout; while I still find myself partial to the original solo narration, these voices have truly grown on me. The immersive production brings the story to life, adding a rich new layer to the world-building. Of course, the story itself remains absolutely superb!

Riveting. Unforgettable. Astronomical.

I don’t even know where to start in describing how much I LOVED this book and how OBSESSED I am with the series. The Andrews team never disappoint.

Wildfire is book three in the Hidden Legacy series and it’s mind-blowing. I’m hoping this isn’t the end of the series, because there is just SO much more I want to see and explore.

It’s a non-stop action-packed adventure that will drag you in. I seriously read this book in one day. Once I opened it. I couldn't stop. I was hooked.

Rogan, Nevada, and the gang where all amazing. We go deeper into the Houses, learn more about Nevada and her family history, and the mystery on who wants to take down the current structure. We are spared no shortage on the action and developments. The writing flows and the detail into describing things is extraordinary. The romance between Rogan and Nevada takes on a whole new level with a few challenges to over come. These two see each other, truly see each other, and won’t hold the other back.

Last, that ending sentence. OMG!!! I think I figured out who Caesar is, but we don’t know for sure and we are not told. It’s a can you figure it out… I think I did.

Wildfire was monuments. I loved it. Can’t wait to own my own copy and hope we are treated to more in the Hidden Legacy series.

Audiobook Nov. 2017: Renée Raudman is spectacular in her narration. I had a blast with the audiobook for Wildfire.

The story itself is 5 stars.

This dramatised adaption is 4 stars, which is a good improvement on Book 1. I still think that the voice actors for Rogan and Cornelius are miscast, but it didn't bother me as much as previously, as I already knew this was the case.

The greatest failure is still the production's baffling choice of Augustine (when a 30-something-year-old, power saturated, aloof Prime is voiced by someone sounding like a 60-year-old, car salesman dude throwback from some 60s radio show, you know that Houston's got a problem! Although if I remember correctly from an IA blog post, they intend to remedy this in the Catalina subseries & get another voice actor for the role - fingers crossed!), but as he didn't feature in this instalment, I didn't have to suffer it.

All in all, Graphic Audio delivers very good quality & enjoyable dramatised adaptations, but their Hidden Legacy production is not on par with their excellent Innkeeper ones.

⭐3 - it was ok

I do like the GrapicAudio adaptations. Although I did raised my eyebrow at the music. Some of them were a choice.

I just do not really like the main characters? The 'dragon' stuff got old very quick and although Rogan did not annoy me as much in this story, I blame the narrator for making him actually sort of tolerable.

3 1/2 STARS

I FINISHED ANOTHER BOOK.

I liked this story way better than the earlier ones in this series. Also I think the reason why I loathe Rogan (is that how you write his name? i'm to lazy to look it up) is because of how the narrator spoke his lines. Halfway through I discovered that some of the things were supposed to be sarcastic, but the way the narrator spoke was more emotionless, so I thought he was a massive emotionless douche whose actions didn't line up with his words. So while I do enjoy the voice of the narrator (very soothing and pleasant) I think they couldn't make Rogan come alive the way the writers had in their mind.

You could argue that's because the writing wasn't up to par but I actually enjoy their writing. Always have. So I enjoyed this book but I didn't really liked it. Three and a half stars it is.

Reading Hidden Legacy Nevada Baylor #1-#3 was a lot of fun.
It took me the first 20% of Burn for me to get into the book. But after that I was hooked. I love the Main Characters Nevada and Rogan but also the side characters. I love the Baylor family, because they are close and thick as thieves.
So the 80% of book were finished as fast as I could, but you know life, work and stuff gives me sometime little or no reading time. But it was very good.

I like that Rogan as a character has so many facets that Nevada has different names for them: there is Conner, Rogan and Mad Rogan. He became very protective of Nevada and her family. At first he didn't show much emotions but after Nevada and Rogan meet this changes. She is the partner in crime he was looking for. Nevada is loyal and such a good person. She takes care of her family.

While it feels like the story is finished with book 1 it's only Adam's story that ends badly. The next two books are about other people, but a conspiracy which isn't unraveled after book 3.

Book 3 -6 is about Catalina, but I want books for so many sidecharacters: Arabella, Leon and Bern.

Heather's Notes
I find I like these better when I have already read the story. That way I don't get upset when I don't hear everything. I really liked listening to.

Wildfire Dramatized Adaptation I do love the full-cast editions of favorite books and favorite series. I've read and listened to the original version numerous times. This is basically the end of Nevada and Rogan's arc and the hint of the start of Catalina's. There's an intervening novella (DIAMOND FIRE) that covers Nevada and Rogan's wedding and leads to SAPPHIRE FLAMES, which begins Catalina's story. As this is the 3rd book, it's not the place to start. Go grab BURN FOR ME. Anyway, love the story and the action. Love the narration by all the cast members. Can't wait until the next drops in April '26.

Basic Plot: Nevada and Rogan investigate a kidnapping and find a connection to the conspiracy they've been chasing.

I love the whole Baylor family and how they are written. The Graphic Audio only makes them better. I remain iffy on the choice of the voice actor for Rogan, he really just sounds too polished and smarmy, but as this part of the story is done, I'm letting that go. I'm really looking forward to the Catalina trilogy's adaptation.

This particular book is full of action and lots of personalities, so it really lends itself well to the GA format. The pacing is great, the romance heats up, the challenges and the stakes are critical. It's a great conclusion to the trilogy.

GraphicAudio actors, voice casting, atmospheric sounds - all manage to create an immersive experience of this excellent book. It has romance, lots of action, lots of magic and a world I find fascinating and also happy not to live in it. No summary here. If you are looking at reviews, you have a good idea about what goes on in this book. Just give GraphicAudio a listen. They do justice to the incredible House Andrews author duo.

This was the best dramatized adaptation in the series to date. And it also happens to be my favorite book in the series. The actors seem more comfortable with their characters and don't overact as much. The annoying music that underlie scenes in previous books is absent in this book. Such a fun listen - I even voluntarily deep cleaned so I could listen to the audiobook.

This story has so many interesting elements. The world building, characters, and action are why I read anything Ilona Andrews writes!

GraphicAudio does an amazing job of bringing even more to the story and the characters.

Okay, this one really picked up, and hooked me into the series. The first too were good, but I really liked the events that took place here. Looking forward to the release of the others in a graphic audio format as well.

It's embarrassing how addicted I am to this series. I have the paperbacks of the first 3 books, I have the whole series on my kindle, I have the normal audiobooks and now collecting the graphic audiobooks. In my mind, they are not publishing them fast enough! While waiting for the next one, I listening to the others or read the series again. I love everything House Andrews is publishing but Hidden Legacy has a special place in my bookish heart. Since they lately announced a novella based on Augustine and Diana, I still have hopes for Arabella's story. You have to love the Baylors. If you haven't read or listened to any audiobooks of Hidden Legacy, I urge you to give it a try and be dazzled. A hundred stars for another well done graphic audiobook of this series.

I love this series, the characters and world are so interesting. I love the overarching conspiracy mystery that is slowly unraveling. The graphic audio is great, it brings more dimension to the characters. I am excited for when the next ones come out.
