I guess it's a perfectly fine book, just wasn't doing anything for me. I really just skimmed the second half, to be honest.
I have done MBSR classes at the Zen Center and I've read "Full Catastrophe Living" so I don't know, maybe this would have been terrific if I was less familiar. I was looking for something to sort of "reboot" my own MBSR practices and this just didn't click. Not bad, but not for me.

This is a pretty good handbook for meditation and mindfulness exercises. Don't make the mistake I did and try to read it through all at once as it feels like a bit of a fire hose of information. Take some time to try some of the exercises and scan as necessary to the most relevant parts for your situation. The added audio guided meditations by the author make this book an excellent value.
