An outstanding post-EMP thriller

The Silent Survivor is an excellent post-EMP survival thriller. Every aspect of the writing is of the highest quality, the narrative quality, characters, lightning fast pacing that perfectly matches the plot and the vivid and clear descriptions of events and environments provide the reader with a highly immersive experience that demands to be read in a single sitting! The protagonists are clever and brave while the antagonist is detestable in every way. This might be the best standalone post-EMP survival thriller I've read! 5/5 stars, highly recommended to those who enjoy survival thrillers!

This book contains very good info about surviving and it was exciting. I can’t begin to remember all the info about guns! So many guns! While it really was a survivalist manual and good for that purpose as well as an edge-of-your-seat thriller. I was really confused by a couple of things: what is the setting of the story and what does the title have to do with the entire book? The wife and son were in Denver and the ranch was 60 miles north. That would most likely be close to Wyoming since Phil and Wyatt traveled through Drnver’s northern suburbs. But later it says it was in Montana. I don’t think Colorado is close to Montana. An anachronism—did 50s Chevy pickups have seat belts. After I read it, I really wanted to start stockpiling.

Thank you Mr. Walker

Thank you Mr. Walker, for writing a great book, that can be read on it's own, without having to buy a whole series of books to finish the story. I don't like a story that never ends. A large reason that I dislike television series, or movie franchises that go on forever. This was a very good read, that I had a hard time putting down. I highly recommend it. I will be reading more of your work. And you didn't have to force me to buy a whole series to make me read more.

This is another Apocalypse novel. It is full of Action and some pepper plans. The author takes us from the attack to a surprising ending. Mr. Walker give us an exciting story.

Best EMP Survival Thriller

The story was told very well and just when things settled down, along comes another problem to deal with. I highly recommend this book for anyone interested in learning about survival in a post-EMP world.

needs a bit more

Wish it had more depth. Shallow bad guy, weak son, too trusting for a dooms day scenario. I believe the premise is plausible. I believe the author has more to give.

I love a post apocalyptic/survivor story. This one was just ok. These 2 friends had everything that could go wrong happen to them. Now to build that Faraday box…

basically a thrill ride

Thoroughly enjoyed this book about Phil and Wyatt. Scary scenario that turns deadly. If this book doesn’t make you think of the future, nothing will.
