I really liked this book and I enjoyed reading it. I have often felt that my relationship has stagnated. It seems that as the years go by, communication becomes more difficult and everyday life with the person we love often becomes complicated.
The talented author Rob Thomas presents, in a practical, effective, and organized manner, a series of small actions to help us bridge the distance we feel from our loved ones.
The reading is pretty agile and the steps are easy to follow, so we can implement them at any moment. Although the reading includes neuroscientific data, the information is so well presented that the reader can understand it sooner.

There’s sometimes this idea that when two people get married, or when they partner up and become monogamous, that they have reached the highest plateau they are capable of achieving together. They have sworn themselves to each other, and there’s no way they could be any more intimately involved. However, there are still deeper levels of connection that they can reach, and by reading this book, they can take the steps necessary to get there.

Many ways of communication are described in these pages. The author is able to convey not only what two partners can achieve if they work at it, but he also lays out a realistic way for anyone to get to a new place of understanding. Nonverbal communication takes center stage. For anyone whose marriage needs a tune-up or who wants to connect with their partner on a more profound level, this book is for you.

Wordless Connection is a book with a wealth of science-backed guidelines on getting closer in relationships by using nonverbal communication. Nonverbal communication is far more profound than a thousand conversations. It is a much more powerful way of showing true caring for your partner. The five-step process seems incredibly straightforward, but it is unbelievably effective. It involves small gestures, shifts in gaze and transformation of presence. These lower defences and allow the connection to deepen. I was impressed by the way that the author uses evidence-based communication insights from his experience as a business consultant and applies them to his five-step process. Whether you are in a partnership, a marriage or any kind of relationship, this book will give you so much insight into creating a more meaningful connection.

This book is a game-changer for any couple feeling stuck or disconnected.
Instead of pushing more conversations that often lead nowhere, Rob Thomas offers a refreshing and practical approach: rebuilding connection through nonverbal communication.
Backed by neuroscience and real-life insights, the book presents a simple five-step process and five easy “Wordless Experiments” that help partners create safety, reduce conflict, and deepen emotional intimacy and the best part is it's without saying a word.
If you’re tired of talking in circles and want to genuinely reconnect with your partner, this book is exactly what you need.
Highly recommended.

I really enjoyed this book. It’s simple, clear, and easy to relate to. It made me realize how important small actions like eye contact and being present are in a relationship. The tips are practical and something you can actually apply in real life. It’s a great reminder that you don’t always need words to feel connected. I would recommend it to couples who want to feel closer and more in tune with each other.

I’m still reading Wordless Connection, but I genuinely like it so far. The idea behind the book feels different from most relationship books because it focuses more on presence and nonverbal connection instead of just “talking things out.”

The writing is easy to follow, and some of the points already made me reflect on how people communicate emotionally in relationships. Looking forward to reading the rest.

I really appreciate how this book thoughtfully examines relationships. It goes beyond discussing the importance of communication and delves into the small actions that gradually build safety, trust, and closeness. This approach made the message feel both real and practical to me. I also valued the emphasis on emotional awareness and nonverbal connections, which can be just as significant as words. This book is perfect for anyone looking to strengthen their relationship with intention.

This is a modern relationship/self help book that argues something slightly counterintuitive; talking more isn’t always the solution to intimacy problems sometimes, saying less works better.
