Crescent Cove Omega: A Spicy Small Town Cozy Reverse Harem Romance

Rate this book
I came back to Crescent Cove wounded, marked, and barely holding myself together.

The half-bond in my neck is killing me.
The alpha who abandoned me is still out there.
And my grandmother’s last magic is the only reason I made it home to the lighthouse.

They say the lighthouse chooses its keeper.
It chose me when everyone I loved was gone.

I thought I was returning to bury ghosts.
Instead, I found a sanctuary—and three men who refuse to let me break alone.

Caspian Blackwood—the rival alpha whose scent makes my omega purr and my trauma scream.
Rowan Vale—the gentle alpha who courts me with patience and devotion.
Harper Finch—the fearless beta who proves love is a choice, not biology.

But the alpha who left me has found me again—and he’s brought a threat that could burn Crescent Cove to the ground.

I’m the lighthouse keeper now.
This is my sanctuary. My pack. My home.

And we’re done running.

A steamy why-choose Omegaverse romance with protective alphas, found family, healing, magic, and forever love. Standalone with HEA guaranteed.

Choppy, excessive foreshadowing, and redundant

This book has very choppy pacing. Every time it started to kick into gear and move along, the chapter would suddenly end with a slamming halt and doomshadowing . The following chapter would start with repetitive whining about something (character dependent) and would take forever to gain momentum. It's like a tractor trailer of liquid on a hilly highway.

The main characters are mostly shallowly written. Sera is an ok FMC but has a solid tendency to circle the drain of repetitive soliloquizing and every single one of her characters ends with impending doom. Cas is too vaguely written. We don't understand his past, we don't understand his hesitation to be with Sera (partly due to gloomy vague comments about his past) and in the end I mostly like that I didn't see much of him. Rowen and Harper are fine but they don't add a ton of value overall. They're like white sheer curtains in an all white room - sweet enough but you barely see them, they barely block the sun, and you probably wouldn't notice if they weren't there. We spend so much time back tracking on Sera's fears that there is little relationship building.

The side characters are much more interesting. Gideon, Luna and the Scattered Sisters have stories in them, but there is no way I'm suffering through another jerky read from this author to hear those stories.

The universe building is practically non-existent, despite the ridiculously unnecessary complexity the author scrabbled together. We got witches, alphas, omegas, blood magic, ancient magic, guardians and no freaking clue about the prevalence of any of those creatures in society, no clue about the usual societal acceptance or disgust with evil like the Steel's, and a confusing presentation on societal norms for alpha/omega relationships (monogamy is normal but suddenly packs are the way but we don't see any others in town or know if they are both accepted norms or if one is more common etc).

There is not a drop of humor in sight. I wouldn't call it true dark romance, it's just doom and gloom with very little personality.

This is the second book I have read by this author, and I did enjoy it.

The book is written in several different POV, although most of the chapters are from Sera's (the omega) POV. I would have liked a little more POV from the male MC's, but at least you get some from them. I wish we had been given a little more background on Rowen and Harper. You are given a little more background on Cas but even there a little more would have been good, although I did enjoy what was given. Heck, you are even given a POV from the villains, which is a nice twist.

Although Sera is a "broken" omega, and has trust issues once she gets with Cas, Rowen and Harper, it is pretty much insta-love from all of them. There is even a twist given with the "evil" alpha that I did not see coming.

Overall, I did enjoy the book and would read another by this author.

Magical Omegaverse Romance

Ilaria Graves’s latest Omegaverse book has an ethereal feel beyond other Omegaverse books. This story has a magical feeling. Sera is considered broken because the alpha who started to bond with her didn’t complete the bond. It has left Sera feeling like damaged goods and has no intention of ever trusting another alpha. What’s really interesting is the author uses multiple POV’s, including POV’s of the protagonists.
When Marcus, the alpha who rejected her, returns to claim her three years later, she finds herself protected and claimed by two alphas and a beta. Her loyal protector is a huge magical dog named Storm.
This is a good excerpt that describes how Sera feels about Caspian, Rowan, and Harper:
Who do I want? Harper, who makes me laugh and feel light for the first time in years? Rowan, who's been patient and kind and waiting for months? Cas, who makes my omega sing and my heart race and terrifies me with how much I could want him?

The story is given depth with several important and interesting secondary characters.
Dark secrets are revealed and there is a surprise revelation about Marcus and his rejection. The non-stop action toward the end is nail-biting!
If you are a fan of Omegaverse books, this is a must read. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Ilaria's is more plot oriented than most Omegaverse stories I've read so far.
Threats are real, bad guys keep coming but Sera and her team learn to grow their strength to repel all of them.
Recommend if you like plot with a side of spice, and strong characters that are not afraid to evolve and help each other.
Bonus points for extra magic and magical beings.

I really enjoyed this story. Sera has returned to the lighthouse where her grandmother was the keeper. She has a broken mate bond and after three years she finds her place in a pack with Cas, Harper and Rowan. How they get their forever is not easy, they have a lot of danger and betrayal to overcome. This book is not to be missed.

Crescent Cove Omega is the first book that I've read by this writer and I enjoyed reading it.

One broken mate bond draws Sera (FMC) back home to the lighthouse that she was raised in by her grandmother. Only now that she's home more secrets come to light. Throw into that mix 2 Alphas - Cas & Rowan and a Beta - Harper. With the complications that they brought, one insular town and one magical lighthouse it all added to a great read with characters I really liked.

Crescent Cove Omega pulled me in fast and didn’t let go. The chemistry is intense, the pack dynamics are addictive, and the emotional stakes kept me turning pages nonstop. If you love omega romance with heat, heart, and just enough drama, this one is absolutely worth the read.

Fun and cute

A fun fast read. It was well written and flowed well, no unnecessary drama for the sake of making it longer. Perfect length for the story to be told.

This book was really good. I loved the characters. Sera is not broken just bent and she finds three amazing men to help her get her strength and courage back. I wish this was a series.
