Graveyard Shift : A Vampire Romance

The rain never stops in Ashford. While the town sleeps the rivers and creeks overflow, and the graveyard shift at the diner feels endless for Nate. That is until a black car pulls into the drive through at 3AM every night.

The man behind the wheel is all wrong. Pale skin, and green eyes that shine in the darkness. He only orders coffee. He never drinks it. And he always asks the same thing-

“Let me in.”

For Nate, it should have been easy to say no.
He’s broke, exhausted, and desperate to help his mother. But something about Edward, the stranger with a predators smile, pulls him in. To Edward Nate tastes like the memory of the Sun, and their bond is fated.

A dark M/M paranormal romance about loneliness, obsession, and the hunger that feels like love.

This started out really good. I was liking how Nate and Edward met and kind of got to know each other. I liked how Nate didn't really have any issues with Edward being a vampire once they became a couple. Everything was going well... until it wasn't. Something has Nate running away. It was that 'something' that pulled me from the story.

It was okay, but I didn't love it.

Graveyard Shift — Ashford After Dark Book Two

This is a short story about a cold, undead monster of a vampire with a little bit of spice. I had trouble feeling anything for this creature. There’s not much of a chance to get to know Nate either.

kept flip-flopping past/present tense, very distracting
