Even teens training to be the world's coldest killers need a day off, so Marcus and Maria hit the streets of San Francisco. But you know what doesn't mesh well with too much booze and heartbreak? A seething cartel hit squad! It's true. Look it up.

Ahhh Deadly Class, how I've come to look forward to you each month now.
Okay, so the first half of this issue was....ridiculous, to say the least. It consisted entirely of Marcus getting wasted, cheating on his girlfriend Maria, running back to the comic book store and getting explosive diarrhea. Yes, you heard me right, Marcus basically shits himself while he's hungover on the job. Needless to say, that was pretty nasty!
The second half of this issue, however...was INSANE. It took such an incredibly dramatic turn that I felt as though it was supposed to be a different issue entirely. The gang is finally gathered to take on Fuckface (his name escapes me at the moment) and his gang of violent hillbillies. However, Marcus and the others unknowingly walk straight into an ambush and all hope seems lost at the moment as everyone fights for their lives. I really enjoyed this second half of the issue, it gave us plot progression as well as a shit ton of cool action, which this series always does very well.
Overall, a solid installment in this series and I can't wait until the next one.
Very excited to pick up the second trade as well! Deadly Class: Kids of the Black Hole.... I wonder what that means????
