This fictionalized memoir reminds me of two fundamental truths in life. We can't pick our parents or where we're from, i.e., zip codes matter and secondly, never underestimate the influence of a good woman behind a successful man.

I changed my review to three stars a few days after my original rate, couldn't help thinking, "there but for the grace of god go I"
