I was lucky enough to be chosen as an ARC reader for this, and I was not disappointed! DL Darby absolutely delivered in this one. I love the chemistry between Todd and Vixey, the spicy scenes were totally spicing. I think that these two may be my favorite couple of the series so far!
I will caution readers to pay attention to the trigger warnings as there are some very sensitive topics that are discussed and are big plot points.
I cannot wait for the next series by DL Darby! She's moved to my autobuy list with this series!!!

I loved the delicious mix of danger, temptation, secrets, and characters who clearly have no intention of making sensible decisions—which, naturally, made me love them even more. There were moments where I was screaming at the pages, moments where I was grinning like an idiot, and moments where I thought, OH… so we’re REALLY going there. 😂

I really enjoyed this book from start to finish—from the gripping plot to the well-developed characters and their complex relationships.
I fell in love with Vixen and her personality right from the opening pages. Having endured a deeply difficult and traumatic past, her mental resilience and fierce desire for a better life instantly drew me in. It was so rewarding to watch her confront her inner fears, overcome her struggles, and emerge even stronger than before.
From the moment she crossed paths with Todd, you could just feel the spark, and I was hooked on their dynamic. Todd ended up being such a pleasant surprise; his unwavering love and loyalty toward Vixen, along with the way he sought redemption after treating her unfairly, made him a fantastic hero. I was deeply invested in their journey and fell hard for their love story.
A special shoutout has to go to the phenomenal supporting cast, who brought so much heart and fun to the story. I grew to love all of them just as they are—from Dove and Bunny with their own sweet romances to the loyalty of Roman and Jackson.

Words fail me, this is an iconic end to an absolute banger of a trilogy.
Todd, fucked up, trauma led, absolute untamed feral man. Vixey, fucked up, trauma led, absolute pussy cat.
I love love love this trilogy, through Dolls and Daggers and Siren and Stillettos, we are slowly introduced to Vixey, who comes across as a complete clutz. In this story, she shines. Intertwining each story but still making sure the bad ass woman, who the book is about is the main focus.
D.L. Darby is an absolute genius. Her writing is top teir, and not forgetting her absolute comedy gold moments within each book.
A perfect ending for all the characters, not forgetting Hunter and Wrenley too!
I am so honoured to have been given the chance to read this book, proper fan-girling over the fact I GOT TO ARC READ A D.L. DARBY BOOK!!!!! Did I mention I arc read a book by D.L. Darby????
Of course I had moments where I cried, thats my thing, I fully immerse in my books, why read and not feel emotional? A reader who does not get affected by what they have read is not a true book lover.

Absolutely obsessed with Todd and Vixey!! this is soo good and quite funny. this series has been one of my favorites to read...

How do you accidentally murder someone because Vixey did or at least she thought she did. At the club with Dove and Bunny, our clumsy Vixey falls into the lap of a sharp dressed man. He was extremely rude to her but then let her back in after someone took her out of the side entrance and tried to assault her. Todd was the one who opened the door for her.
After one incident where a beautiful woman fell into his lap. He see's that she is ushered out the door and ends up opening for her when she flees to find her friends. He checks outside in the alley way and sees a man's body laying behind the dumpster with blood seeping out of him. He becomes obsessed with Vixey with no information about her. He runs into Bunny and Dove and finds out her name and where she works. He may have slightly stalked her.

Do I wish there was more "serial killing" in this book? Yes. Always game for POS humans getting what's coming to them.
Do I understand WHY this one wasn't as filled with it as the first two? Yes
Am I chomping at the bit for the next series? 100000000000% I am going to need that NOW please and thank you.
This was very much on brand for the rest of the series. The human birthday candle? *chef's kiss* the ability to have two different traumas surface and be worked through? So good.
I knew when I read Dolls & Daggers this was an author I was going to enjoy. This series is in my top five of favorites and I have loved every single book. I can't wait to see how the hot line is set up and see if I'm right on some of the faces we will see again.

“Vixens & Venom” is the third, and final book in the “Serial Killer Book Club” series, written by D.L. Darby. In this story Vixey is our FMC, a young woman with a secret, trying to start over and works at a friendly bar in town. On a night out with the girls, she has a unique ‘meet-cute’ with a handsome man, but it doesn’t go as planned. Later in the evening a former hookup gets handsy and she must assert herself to get the guy to back off. And this is where I would say the story gets going…
Vixey and Todd both experienced horrific trauma in their lives. While not always a happy story, as they both experience ups and downs, and have deep rooted insecurities that affect their relationships with others around them; we do get a HEA in this dark humorous romance.
One of my favorite parts of this book was in chapter 35. The author gives a speech that is reminiscent of 90’s style love stories. I was so emotional reading this chapter, and it will stay rent free in my head as one of the best moments I have read ever in a book!

D.L. You knocked this out of the park AGAIN! This is one of my fav series, and Vixey & Todd were two flawed characters who just needed to be loved exactly as they were. And I did! Everything about them, from their backstories that had me in tears to their funny and spicy moments. Then getting to see them find their HEA? Loved it. And those familiar faces sprinkled throughout? I enjoyed seeing those little intertwined moments. Won’t spoil it for you, but I was VERY happy to see them return. In true D.L. fashion, you had me flying through this book. Big Mama & Nibbles… all I got there is 😅. I was a little creeped out by Nibbles, but I see what you did there, D.L. I knew before I even started that it was going to be so darn good, and it absolutely was.

So up until 2 days ago, I had never read this series, but randomly decided to sign up for the ARC for this book. I burned through all three books so quickly first off. This one like the rest I loved! I love how now all the gaps in the first two books meant for this one have finally come full circle. Vixey and Todd are kindred spirits and perfect for one another. The growth throughout their relationship was *chef's kiss." I loved Nibbles. He is the MVP. I loved his purpose at the end ;) I think he is my favorite out of all the pets in the series. I also really enjoyed how we got to see more of the MMC's life outside of the FMC. The supporting characters added a lot and it kind of made me want that with the other two books with the MMC's. I do feel that like Sirens and Stilettos, this did drag on a bit, but it didn't change my enjoyment at all. Thank you so much for the opportunity to read the ARC. I'm so glad I found this series. I need to get physical copies to add to my collection.

The third and final book in the Serial Killer Book Club series and I’m so sad about it. I Iove this series. Todd & Vixey my sweet traumatized angels. They are my favorite couple out of all three books. I felt so connected to them, I could read them forever. My boy Alex, love him forever too even if he made me mad a couple times. The way everything ties together and is so smooth about it, perfection. Also, the Easter eggs were Easter egging lol and I feel dumb how long it took me to pick up on them! I loved the message of the book, your scars don’t define you and you are worthy of everything good. Ahh I could talk about this one all day. Well all of them actually lol

Todd is imperfectly perfect for Vixey. Congrats to the girl who spilled a drink on Bunny’s lap. You have came a long way and I admire the strength and hope you have to keep going. Both Todd and Vixey have this broken soul that while reading, I felt as vulnerable as they were. I am glad they both did not lose hope and have found each other and a family of their own.
Unfortunately, I do have a favorite couple ( Hunter and Bunny) so this can only be a 4 stars in my eyes but I love that the series is now complete. But now I have to go read this in tandem so I have a better timeline in my mind.

I wanted more funny and more mayhem LOL.
It all comes together in the last 20% though = Savage Revenge.
I loved Todd, but there were a few chapters that had me fuming.
I loved Vixey's clumsiness.

Plot points bringing characters from previous stories, Dove + Wrenley, and Bunny + Hunter, and hinting towards the next series “Serial Killer Hotline”.

This was such a good wrap up for the serial killer book club series!
Vixey & Todd were perfect for each other! They both had so much to work through and I'm glad they were able to do it together and get the closure they needed.
