My fiancé vanished on our engagement night. Hundreds of guests. Dead silence. Until his father—the Bratva king stood and said, “I’ll marry her instead.”
Artemiy Baranov. A devil wrapped in a million-dollar suit, with Arctic-blue eyes I secretly craved. He was meant to be my father-in-law, but he ruined my innocence in silk sheets.
Yet our marriage is a tailored deception. I’m the spy sent to steal his secrets. He found out first before my confession.
Now, his mansion is my prison. He grinds my hips, exploring too deep. Savage thrusts. Ruthless penetration. Until I scream and weep, a torrent of searing heat. My sin is consumed by painful ecstasy.
But when his enemies took me, and told him I was carrying his child. What will the Bratva King do Save me—or make me pay?

I loved this book. It was well written, had unexpected plot twists, was emotional, and exciting. Gabriella is a young 22 yo vurgin mafia princess who is treated terribly by her father and lives to protect her younger sister. Her father arranges a marriage to the son of a pakhan she doesn’t know or like without telling her and when the time comes for the wedding the guy doesn’t show up. To prevent war his father steps in and agrees to marry her. This actually works out much better for her as she’s attracted to him though he’s about 25 yrs order than her. Artemis treats her kindly and they end up falling for each other but her father wants her to spy on him and report which leaves Gabriella in a dangerous position. Then Igor the son she was to marry returns and causes a lot of upset and turmoil. Things aren’t what they seem and she overhears her sister say things that shock her. What is going on with family members and are they being betrayed? Then Gabriella’s disception is discovered and her life put in jeopardy all while she discovers she’s pregnant. But Artemis may never forgive her, and enemies are out to make sure she doesn’t survive. Artemis will have to decide where his priorities lie and what he can’t forgive.

Artemiy is forced to step up and marry Gabrielle when his son decides not to show up for the arranged marriage. This was an intense story of betrayal, loyalty and strength. It was captivating right from the start, and I kept wanting more, especially as the twists and turns kept coming.

Not sure about reading the in depth violence that is in the book, but the remaining story is all there. The tension and heat between the main characters is what makes the story move along. I particularly like the tension whenever her father is there even if I think his attitude towards his daughters is unpleasant.
Wow what a story. It is 2:00 in the morning and I couldn’t stop reading. I loved all the twists and turns but one got me I didn’t see coming. You’ll see when you read I can’t give it away. Start reading
What a fantastic story this is! I was so engrossed in their story that I had trouble putting the book down. So much happens, with so many twists and turns, and plenty of momentum. Highly recommended!

This story was overall pretty good the only thing I didn’t like was that a few of the dates/ ages near the end of the book didn’t make sense and time in the overall story had periods that would jump forward too fast or slow
Love this author, her stories are so addictive and interesting that they grab you from the first page. This had a great storyline and characters that kept you intrigued from the start. Highly recommend 5 stars
I enjoyed this story. But I couldn’t connect with the female character. I think Artemiy was too good to Gabriella after everything that happened. Everything seemed to have unfold too quickly but I did liked their happily ever after.
