SNOWED IN WITH THE MOUNTAIN RANGER is book 1 of the Mountain Men of Pine Ridge and Cedar Creek series. It's a short and steamy, instalove, OTT, opposites-attract, grumpy-sunshine, forced-proximity, curvy girl gets her mountain man romance. Laurel is a sassy, curvy, nomadic photographer. Cole is a hunky, somewhat grumpy, mountain ranger. When Laurel ends up going off the road in a snowstorm, Cole rescues her. She ends up staying at the lookout tower with him and things eventually get hot and steamy. But she is a bit of a free-spirit and he is a controlled loner after losing his search and rescue partner. Both have walls up. Can they let each other in? These two had great chemistry and ended on a happy note after a little danger, drama, and angst.

Intense story of a mountain ranger stationed in a lookout tower. His job is search and rescue on the mountain. When he loses his partner, he feels he is destined to a life of loneliness and unloved since feeling guilty of not saving his partner. That is until Laurel needs rescuing. She is stranded in her car in a snow and Cole is there to take her to safety. She awakens feelings in Cole he had long lost. Sparks simmer but Cole tries his best to keep his walls up. Now on another mission, she is determined to help him. Is she experienced enough to help or slow him down? When the roads are cleared, will she leave or will he ask her to stay. Thought it was a heart-warming story of two people finding what they were missing. Highly recommend.

This is a great book about letting go of the past so a new future can begin. Cole is a forest ranger who understands the seriousness of his job after losing his partner in an avalanche a year ago. Laurel is a nature photographer who overestimates her survival skills, so Cole has to rescue her during a blizzard. It’s a story of instant love and attraction between two compelling characters.

This was an intense story about helping each other to forgive, to trust, and starting over. This story had me on the edge of my seat, couldn't put down until finished. Highly recommend.
