She's hoping she’s paranoid. She's terrified she’s not.

When Amelia relocated to Cambridge for love, she never imagined her new life would become a nightmare.

After uprooting her beauty therapy business to be with her fiancé Noah, Amelia receives the first message—anonymous, threatening, impossible to ignore.

As more sinister messages follow, Amelia's new life begins to fall apart. It seems someone is watching her every move and now her clients are abandoning her for no reason she can see. It’s as if she’s done something wrong, but what?

And Noah is no help. He seems strangely distant, then conveniently vanishes to care for his sick father. Alone and terrified, Amelia suspects everyone.

Then, when a photo arrives which proves she's being stalked, Amelia realizes she’s not being paranoid - the danger is very real.

Trapped in her flat, jumping at shadows, Amelia must uncover who's tormenting her—and why. Because in this game of psychological warfare, the people closest to her might be the most dangerous of all.

Trust no one. Question everything. Survive.

Pretty Little Lies - the gripping psychological thriller perfect for fans of Lucy Foley, Ruth Ware, and Freida McFadden.

Pretty little lies and ugly truths.

Amelia has recently relocated to Cambridge for love and opened her own beauty-therapy business when she starts receiving anonymous, threatening messages. As more sinister notes arrive, clients abandon her for no apparent reason, and her fiancé, Noah, grows distant before vanishing -supposedly to care for his sick father. Trapped in their flat and jumping at shadows, Amelia realizes someone is watching her every move - and the people closest to her might be the most dangerous.

Author Jessica Huntley masterfully builds the tension and paranoia Amelia feels, resulting in a growing sense of unease, though Amelia's indecision to act results in somewhat of a slow burn for much of the first half of the book and sometimes makes the story drag a little. There are plenty of red herrings - some predictable, others less so - and certain twists and "coincidences" require a high suspension of disbelief. Nonetheless, the emotional suspense kept me on the edge of my seat, turning pages eagerly.

With short, propulsive chapters, this is a quick, character-driven read that turns darker and more disturbing than it may initially appear (definitely check the trigger warnings!), and I have to applaud the author for one particular twist that could do a lot of good in terms of awareness and advocacy.

"Pretty Little Lies" is a unique, unsettling domestic thriller about a woman navigating a world in which no one - and nowhere - feels safe anymore. Well worth your time.

Many thanks to Inkubator Books for providing me with an ARC via NetGalley in exchange for my honest review.

"Pretty Little Lies" is slated to be released on December 10, 2025.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but so is murder. This thriller kept me on my toes as I tried to decide who was the victim and who was the villain. I was immediately immersed in Amelia’s world of manicures and massages. As her life slowly implodes, the tension builds and danger looms around every corner. This is the sixth book I have read by Jessica Huntley. As always, she delivers edge-of-your-seat suspense. This book is original, entertaining, and a fun rollercoaster ride of intrigue. Thank you Booksprout and Inkubator Books for my ARC.

Jump into the shoes of Camilla, your full time beauty therapist, the vessel of all kinds of gossip that floats around.

Was she kinda the most annoying fmc i've ever read? yea, but then she was no different from most of the thriller fmcs I've ever met (but srsly, why do they NEVER go to the police? like imma be running)

The story is tugged into motion by a series of threatening texts, cuz what screams a good morning than a "Die, Bitch" text. And so, paranoia ensues.... because it can be anyone and everyone, no one is exempt from suspicion. And ofc our fmc is also a full time snooper cuz why not? :)

Ⓣⓗⓔ Ⓢⓤⓢⓟⓔⓒⓣⓢ 📸
Noah- the perfect soon-to-be-husband, he is loving, charming and affectionate. But lately he's been pulling away suddenly... I wonder why?
Georgina- she's the best friend, always standing up for us, making sure we're alright. She doesn't hesitate to be on the forefront to catch the creepy text sender. She knows everything about us... she knows everything about us.
Charlotte- the newest customer. Except she seems a bit too inclined to enter our lives, she's pulling into our life too quicky. Why though? And she never wants to talk about herself too. Isn't that weird?

And so the Mills spirals into the spiral of dread and distrust and every time she thinks that the stalker is gone... IT'S NOT.

However, I do have issues with this book. Like many other books I've read, this also had the same issue of way-too-much-time-for-the-buildup-and-not-enough-time-for-the-conclusion. It spent wayy too much time building up the plot that I found myself zoning out. Especially most of the Noah perspective chapter just felt straight-up repetitive and useless to the overall plot. these things kinda water-down the whole edge-of-the-seat experience for me.

But overall, not a very bad read, I kinda enjoyed it too (at times), the plot twist was kind of a shock even though the buildup took a lot of time, but I definitely WAS hooked at some parts. So mid feelings overall I would say.

3.1 why-don't-they-go-to-the-police/5

I received a free copy of, Forget Me Not, by Leah Cupps, from the publisher and Netgalley in exchange for an honest review. Amelia works in the beauty industry, she moved to Cambridge for the love of her life, Noah. Things do not turn out well at all. Amelia has and obsessed stalker after her. This was a bit of a disturbing read. I did not care for all the swearing either.

This story drew me in early on from the time that mysterious text “You’re going to die b****” came through, because what?? Amelia is just convinced that this person has to have the wrong # because there’s just no way! A weird new client, Charlotte, a husband that’s keeping secrets, Noah - just made her not be able to catch a break! All of this occurring early on in the story let me know I was in for a good thriller!! Jessica Huntley always leaves me shocked and this one was no different! I truly didn’t know what was happening & definitely could not have guessed! Overall a great story.

This was my first Jessica Huntley and Pretty Little Lies made a seriously strong first impression.

It kicks off sharply - Amelia moves to Cambridge for love, starts building her beauty therapy business, and then the anonymous messages begin. At first they’re unsettling. Then threatening. Then it becomes clear someone is far too interested in her life - and the paranoia is so well done that you’re constantly questioning what’s real, who to trust, and whether Amelia is spiralling or in genuine danger.

The pacing shifts after that punchy start - the middle slows down to focus on character and plot development, but it’s also where the tension and suspense really start to simmer. Amelia’s world shrinks, the isolation ramps up, and every interaction feels loaded. It’s a slow tightening rather than constant action - and it works.

Then the final 30% hits and I could not put it down. Proper “just one more chapter” energy right to the end.

I also really appreciated the author’s note - the initial idea was sparked by Huntley’s identical twin sister (a beauty therapist), and the concept of the secrets people share in that setting becomes the perfect seed for this story. It’s clever, unsettling, and it makes Amelia’s job feel genuinely integral rather than just a detail.

A tense, claustrophobic psychological thriller with a satisfying finish - 4 stars from me. I’ve just received an ARC of Huntley’s upcoming release Our Dream Home and I’m very excited to dive in soon.

Content notes / themes: stalking, sexual assault, mental health, intimidation and control, deception.

I would like to thank Inkubator books and Jessica Huntley for an ARC copy of this book in exchange for my honest review.

3,75 rounded up to 4⭐ - a new author to me but what a pleasant surprise.

When beautician Amelia moves to Cambridge for the love of her life, Noah. It's not exactly smooth sailing for her.. After someone has been stalking Amelia's every move by leaving notes, sending texts and even attacking Amelia's beauty business causing her to lose clients one by one.

But who's behind these vile messages and why is Noah being distant? Can she trust her friends? Are her friends who they say are?
The first part of the story reminds me of "Pretty Little Liars" series but boy oh boy, were there twists and clearly not everyone can be trusted

Pretty Little Lies is an edge of your seat suspense filled little popcorn thriller. I had a lot of fun reading this one. It was super easy to read, highly bingeable and kept me hooked throughout it all. This story is disturbing and truly makes you realize how far obsession can take you. I also really loved how the mental health aspect for the husband was taken care of and approached (I can't go more into details). Jessica's writing is always so immersive, her stories always grab me right from the start.

Talk about some untrustworthy characters. I didn't know who to trust, kept switching back and forth with Amelia as to who the culprit was. It was filled with drama, secrets and tension. I loved that the author didn't drag out the story and fill it with fluff, it was straight to the point and delivered exactly what it was meant to. It didn't hit me with a shocking or dramatic twist reveal, but it wasn't the purpose of this book. The entire unraveling of the plot and reveals were just perfect.

Overall, this is a perfect read if you're looking for something fast, to the point with constant building suspense and tension. Very fun and entertaining!

3.75 rounded to 4 stars for me.

Amelia working hard to build her beauty therapy business, and get money for mortage and her wedding to Noah.Everything was fine in this new place, but now her fiancé Noah is dystant and she's getting threatening messages.Seems that Noah is hidding something and it's all connected.

Is Amelia in danger?Who wants to hurt her?

The book starts slowly for me and I was not sure if I enjoy this story, but after a while the tension and plot thickness and it was hard to put it down.I could not be more shocked at the twist, this was not something I read before.I liked Amelia, nice and really warm who wants to have a good future, but what I liked more was that she's not playing around when someone wants to take it away.My first book by this author and hope to read more.

Please read warnings first.

Wow! This gripping story introduces Amelia (Mills), a determined entrepreneur contentedly building her beauty therapy business in Cambridge while planning her wedding to Noah. Her world quickly unravels when Noah turns distant and a mysterious, anonymous hater threatens her career and her life.
The question of why drives this tense, fast-paced read. The characters are richly developed, and Amelia shines as a feisty, empathetic protagonist who I was rooting for all the way.
Jessica Huntley vividly illustrates Amelia's fear and relentless determination, pulling you into a spiral of suspicion.
I found myself reading into the wee small hours desperate to uncover the truth. A truly fantastic, all consuming thriller with an ending that's tied up as neatly as a set of massage oils wrapped in a bow.

Pretty Little Lies is a chilling, twisty ride that had me second-guessing everyone. Jessica nails the creeping paranoia—those anonymous messages feel so real you’ll want to check your own phone. Amelia’s unraveling life is both heartbreaking and addictive to watch, and the tension never lets up. Jessica Huntley is one of my absolute favorite authors, and I love, love her writing—she always delivers the perfect blend of emotional depth and relentless suspense. If you enjoy psychological thrillers that keep you suspicious of every character, this one is a must-read.

3.75 ⭐️

I love a thriller that makes you second-guess everyone, and this one definitely kept me circling suspects. Having read Jessica Huntley’s work before, I knew I was going to get drama, secrets, and emotional tension—and this one didn’t disappoint.

Amelia moves to Cambridge to start fresh with her fiancé, Noah, but anonymous, threatening messages quickly derail everything. Her business crumbles, Noah pulls away, and when a photo proves she’s being watched, Amelia realizes the danger is real—and close to home.

What really worked for me was the slow, steady psychological unraveling. The atmosphere is claustrophobic in a way that feels intentional—most of the story centers around Amelia’s internal panic and the walls closing in around her. Her anxiety and confusion were believable, and I found myself feeling that same uncertainty alongside her. The short chapters also made this extremely bingeable—very much a “just one more chapter” read. What I love about Jessica Huntley’s writing style is how it leans into slow-burn, character-focused suspense, building emotional tension and paranoia gradually rather than relying on big shock twists.

This isn’t a book that hinges on a large dramatic twist. Instead, it leans into tension, emotional suspense, and the breakdown of trust. If you love psychological thrillers that focus on paranoia and messy interpersonal dynamics rather than explosive reveals, this one fits that vibe really well.

Overall, Pretty Little Lies is a tense, unsettling domestic thriller about what happens when your safe space stops feeling safe—and how terrifying it is when the danger comes from someone close. I enjoyed this one and would recommend it to psychological thriller fans who love slow-burn suspicion and character-driven tension.

Pretty Little Lies

Author Jessica Huntley

Release date 10th December

WOW!!!
Pretty Little Lies is an Incredibly crazy suspense-filled psychological thriller by Jessica Huntley.
A very fast-paced addictive and intense thriller, I was drawn in and gripped from the first lines of the prologue, and I just didn't want to put this one down.

Self-employed beauty therapist Amelia had built up a successful business, but gave it up to relocate to Cambridge and move in with her fiancé Noah and make a new start in her beauty therapy and gain new clients.
Amelia's new life suddenly turned into a nightmare, Noah was becoming distracted and distant and hiding something from his past, and Amelia started getting threatening text messages and was being stalked.

Someone was targeting Amelia, was she becoming paranoid, and she suspected any one of her clients and friends could be making her life a misery with their sinister threats, knowing her every move.
Was it some connection to Noah?
Amelia was fraught with the fear of leaving her own flat.
She had to find out who was responsible and why Noah was lying to her.

Exceptional narrative again from Jessica, with exceptionally created characters so believably real, in stunning descriptive settings.
A compelling edge-of-your-seat thriller that dragged me in, captured me and kept me guessing, with so many twists and turns, I could not figure out how this was going to turn out right up to the end.
A must-read book.

Pretty Little Lies by Jessica Huntley is about Amelia she is a beauty consultant who recently moved to Cambridge with boyfriend Noah for his job but she quickly gained a loyal client list and couldn’t be happier. Her job is to go to loyal customers and to new customers homes to do their nails hair massage etc, it’s a job she usually loves the new customers also equal strangers and when she starts getting strange threatening notes and feels like she’s being stocked unfortunately for Millie this is only the beginning. not to mention someone is out to ruin her reputation and she’s losing clients to prove it. When her boyfriend Noah starts being standoffish. Noah soon leaves to go tend to his father and soon stops responding to her calls and text she’s left alone as the strangeness heightens. throughout the book there are a couple of good suspects as to who could be doing this to Millie but things get so bad that she is stuck in her house alone not able to get in touch with Noah and someone who’s out for her. This isn’t your average strange things start happening and then the confrontation begins this is so much more than that it really took me for a loopy loop and I must say this was an absolutely awesome read. As far as thrillers go I really enjoy this one there was something refreshing about it and despite it follows a well treaded trope Ms. Huntley definitely puts her own flavor on top of it which makes it better for it. I loved it had me on the edge of my seat there is definitely a twist in the book that will give you whiplash I just loved it what more can I say a definite recommend. #BooksSprout, #TheBlindReviewer,#myHonestReview, #JessicaHuntley, #PrettyLittleLies,

Pretty Little Lies is a psychological thriller following Amelia, an at-home beauty therapist and Noah, a prison guard. They're engaged and saving up for the wedding and to buy a house. But things start going wrong when Amelia receives threatening messages and starts losing clients. Noah also has work issues, but instead of talking about them he tries (and fails) to deal with them on his own. The miscommunication trope is heavy at the start of the book which annoyed me at first but then the characters realize what is happening and that they need to communicate and be a team.
For a short book, I think it does a good job dealing with mental health issues and sexual assault. If you find discussions of rape triggering, skip this book, otherwise I would recommend it to thriller lovers!.

I really enjoyed this book! This thriller gripped my attention from the very start, and kept me wondering until the very end. Amelia is just trying to live her life with her fiancé, until chaos happens. Her world starts to crumble as she begins to deal with stalking, creepy messages, and her clients turning on her. Who is behind all of the chaos? You will be wondering until the very end. Highly recommend!

Thank you, NetGalley for letting me read this book!

At first glance, it's everything I enjoy in a suspenseful book--
A suspicious fiancé, a strong female character that is making waves as a mobile beauty therapist, and....all of these aggressive text messages that keeping coming out of nowhere, but from whom?

I loved that this book took me back to my binge-watching days of Pretty Little Liars. There is definitely some "A" energy in this book that kept me turning the pages and wondering who this nasty, aggressive person was. This book will keep you guessing on who this suspect is the whole way through. The character development was very smooth and I felt like I really knew the main characters and their patterns of behavior.

This book reads as a double plot, which keeps it very fun! As someone who loves psychological thrillers though, I did feel that this book was a little too neatly wrapped up with a bow for my personal liking. Otherwise, it was a fast-paced, enjoyable book and I think many people will eat it up this winter!

This book had a great premise, but unfortunately did not deliver for me. Both main characters are unlikable, yes Amelia and Noah both have big things (yet no one seems to trust the other enough to share it with them) going on in the background but nothing they do makes any sense. Noah’s POV is a waist of time until about 60% in. Amelia is my least favorite of the two.
Here are some quotes:

“Her dark skin and afro hair are super-striking.”
- She’s super sticking becase she’s Black?? 👀 just such a weird way to describe someone (coming from a POC)

“A part of me is itching to check them, not because the messages might be from Charlotte, but because they might be a response to the reply I sent after the text I received earlier.”
- So she is waiting for a response to a message she sent earlier…

“I take a breath and decide to brush it off as another weird experience.”
- Completely nonsensical! Some stranger contacts you comes to your home for treatments and makes Red Flag personal comments about your SO even though she claims not to know him.

“I try not to sound accusatory, angry, but the bottom line is if he’d trusted me enough to tell me the truth, then none of the past two weeks would have happened, and I wouldn’t have lost all my clients and been scared half to death about having a stalker.”
“‘Why didn’t you tell me when this happened all those weeks ago?”
“I fear I may be pushing him too hard, asking too many questions,”

- YES, How did something that horrendously happened to your fiancé become solely about you. In those moments it’s not about you in any way shape or form.

Her overall utter lack of common sense, self-awareness, and selfishness was tooooooooo much for my sanity.

Thanks for the free arc, in exchange for a review, NetGalley and Publishers!

As not only a die hard JH fan, but also a Nail Technician by trade, I knew that I would love everything about this book. I found myself comparing Amelia's clients to my own within the beauty industry. The book begins with the introduction of Noah and Amelia and Noah is hiding a huge secret from Amelia. Therefore, straight into the suspense. What could the secret be and why is he hiding it from his fiancée? By the end of chapter 1, I knew I wouldn't be able to put this book down until I finished it. It definitely made me think about how professional I am with my own clients and how maybe I need to not be so open because bad things can happen. Amelia meets a new client, Charlotte, who starts becoming obsessive and continuously seems to just be 'there' all the time whether over the phone or in person. At the same time, Amelia is receiving anonymous threatening messages and cannot understand what she has done. Business goes down hill and Amelia begins to wonder is there is a correlation between taking on Charlotte as a new client, Noah's mental health dipping and her world being turned upside down.
This book has the perfect amount of stalking, paranoia, tension and abuse for my liking! I loved Amelia from the get go and wanted to be a client of hers myself. I really couldn't figure out who Charlotte was and why she was such a major part in the story until the last few chapter when the major twist was revealed. I am not usually one to bother about trigger warnings however definitely check them out with this book because there are some unexpected twists and turns that appear rapidly and I didn't expect them but thoroughly enjoyed them :)

Another absolutely stunning read from JH!! Another book that proves why JH is one of my favourite authors and will always be an auto-buy for me!

Pretty Little Lies starts with a woman who’s just uprooted her entire life for love—and slowly turns that fresh start into something claustrophobic and terrifying. Amelia moves to Cambridge to be with her fiancé, only for anonymous messages to start appearing. At first, they’re unsettling. Then they’re threatening. And then it becomes clear someone is watching her far more closely than they should be.
What really worked for me was the creeping paranoia. Amelia’s world begins to shrink as her clients disappear, her fiancé grows distant (and then conveniently absent), and every person around her becomes a potential suspect. The sense of isolation is intense … you’re constantly questioning whether she’s spiraling… or if the danger is very real.
The pacing is tight with short, punchy chapters that keep the tension simmering, and while there are a few softer, relationship-focused moments, the stalker element dominates. The twist was especially satisfying … dark, unexpected, and refreshingly different in a genre where surprises can be hard to come by.
Overall, this was a tense, unsettling psychological thriller that plays on fear, obsession, and the idea that the people closest to you may be the ones watching your every move.
Trust no one. Question everything. Lock the door.

I can't resist a Jessica Huntley thriller, and Pretty Little Lies does not disappoint.
I was a little worried that I wouldn't be able to relate to the main character as I'm not known for looking after myself! I don't get massages, I don't get my nails done, and I only get my hair cut once a year 😅 Thankfully, I found that this didn't take away from my enjoyment of the story. Yes, Amelia is a beauty therapist, but the focus is more on her chaotic personal life. I flip flopped over who the culprit was as much as she did but I was blindsided by the big reveal. It wasn't a character I had even considered!
Noah's confession as to why his behaviour towards Amelia had been weird was also something that I didn't see coming. Without spoilers, it's not usually a topic that is viewed from that perspective, and I think Huntley approached it sensitively, bringing to light the reality of such an issue rarely talked about.
Yet another thrilling and unpredictable ride from one of my favourite authors!
As an aside, I love that the author used her sister as inspiration and that the client stories are loosely based on people's real-life secrets!

Recently engaged and building up her Beauty Therapy business, Amelia is eager for the next chapter in her life. That is until she starts receiving threatening messages that leave her feeling anxious and isolated. Everyone in her life becomes a suspect: her clients, her best friends, and even her fiance, Noah. Will she be able to figure out who has been messing with her before it's too late?

This book had me second guessing myself. I highly recommend it to fans of Freida McFadden or anyone looking for a quick, entertaining read. As with her other thrillers, Jessica knows how to place the plot twists just right in the story and when to leave us in the dark. I enjoyed how this book managed to distract me from my hectic life and pull me in to the very end.

I was also happy to see that she brings some level of awareness to a disorder that is very stigmatized. When it first appeared in the book I was preoccupied about how it would play out but in the end, it gave the story just the touch it needed. My hope is that readers are curious enough to look up the disorder and read more about it. That readers don't just stick with what is in the book because the disorder is so much more than what is written here. Granted, I have a special interest in it being portrayed appropriately since I myself live with it and hate when media stigmatizes it even more or uses it for views/clicks. I didn't feel like that happened here though so I'd say this is a great thriller read that I hope you add to your tbr pile (maybe even give it top priority!).

Pretty Little Lies is my first Jessica Huntley book, and her writing came in swinging like it had something to prove. The pacing is electric—short, punchy chapters that practically dare you to stop reading, escalating tension that tightens with every page, and twists that land with the kind of chaotic precision only a confident writer can pull off. Huntley layers her reveals so cleanly you don’t realize you’ve been lured into a trap until the floor disappears beneath you.

What impressed me most wasn’t just the twists, but how deliberately the entire story is constructed. Every chapter adds pressure, every breadcrumb matters, and the suspense builds in this almost architectural way—solid foundation, rising tension, then sudden chaos that somehow still fits perfectly into place. Even when the ending wrapped a little too neatly for my personal taste, the journey was so well-executed I couldn’t stop flipping pages. It’s immersive, twisty, and wildly addictive in that “just one more chapter” way that keeps you up way past your bedtime.

For a first read by this author, I was genuinely blown away by how sharp, fast, and deliberate her writing is. I’ll absolutely be picking up more from her.

Thank you to Jessica Huntley, NetGalley, and Inkubator Books for the eARC—my review is honest and entirely my own.

This was an enjoyable thriller that kept me guessing right up until the end. I genuinely didn’t know who the stalker was, and I loved that constant sense of uncertainty about who could actually be trusted, kind of following along with Amelia as she works to figure things out.

This is such an easy, bingeable read & imo the kind of book you could easily devour in a day on holiday while sipping margs by the pool. I think for me personally it could have been a bit faster paced but I appreciate that this helped build the tension!

I thought the gradual unravelling of Amelia was particularly well done. While I didn’t find either Amelia or Noah especially likeable, I did feel sorry for them both, which added an interesting emotional layer to the story and made their situations feel very human. Lets be real who would be likeable if they were attacked and then stalked 😂

Overall i’d say this was a gripping and accessible thriller that’s perfect if you’re in the mood for something twisty and compulsively readable. Or if you’re a fan of thrillers that aren’t too dark!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ — 4 Stars

Pretty Little Lies is a twisty, addictive thriller that hooked me from the first chapter and kept me turning pages all the way through. Jessica Huntley does a fantastic job blending small-town secrets, messy relationships, and a creeping sense of dread that builds with every chapter.

I really enjoyed following Amelia as her perfectly planned life starts to unravel. The tension is steady throughout—never over the top, but always pressing just enough to make you suspect everyone. Huntley writes the kind of domestic drama and interpersonal entanglements that feel both realistic and unsettling, and the final reveal landed well for me.

It’s fast-paced, easy to devour in a couple of sittings, and full of the kind of character dynamics that make thrillers fun: strained friendships, complicated family ties, and a community with far too much to hide.

A solid, gripping read that thriller fans will absolutely enjoy.

Received as an ARC through Netgalley, this is an honest review.

Pretty Little Lies is absolutely an extraordinarily thrill ride and continues author Jessica Huntley's ability to engage with readers with thoughtful, emotional narratives that leave indelible marks long after the book is finished.

After enduring the turmoil of making her way as a beauty therapist, Amelia is finding success with self employement that everything she and her fiance Noah could finally achieve moving into their own place and out of their current, small flat. Secretly, however Noah is struggling to handle a deep, personal trauma that is increasingly threatening to explode and he's desperate to keep Amelia from knowing while fighting the person who wants him to suffer at all costs.

As bizarre, threatening texts taunt and haunt Amelia; pushing her into a level paranoia - all she can question is why and wondering if they culprit could be everyone from trusted friends to a new client, that's more to handle than Amelia could ever realize. Pushed to her wits end, when Amelia finally demands from her newest client what they fuck is going on... Amelia discovers something unexpected that changes how she should have seen this individual.

The person behind tormenting both her and Noah shatters everything Amelia thought she known; and it unleashes a wild, hot anger to make this person pay... no matter the consequences that comes. At the same time Amelia is determined to give all support and love to Noah as he begins to forge his own path and justice from the haunting trauma he endured.

For fans of Alex Sigmore's The Forgotten Wife.

Highly recommended.

There is something so relatable about a story where one anonymous rumor can take down a person's business, reputation, or marriage. It sometimes feels like we are one social media click from it happening to any one of us. And Jessica Huntley makes sure we feel every emotion her characters are experiencing!

Amelia has relocated to support Noah and has just gotten her mobile beauty therapist business to the point where it's profitable. She knows not to get too personal with clients, although there is one client she feels she can confide in. And then there's the new client - whose behavior is nothing short of stalkerish. And her husband has been acting weird for a couple of weeks. When clients start dropping, and her husband gets caught in a lie, it's time for a nail-biting (pun intended ;-) twist.

The short chapters invite you to read "just one more chapter", and the twists will keep you reading though the night.

Thank you to NetGalley, Inkubator Books, and the author for an advance reader's copy.
