A meet cute like no other, you will absolutely love the story of Scarlett and Aiden. It’s a forbidden romance, only get each other, “dad’s gonna kill me” kind of story. I know I loved it from the beginning to the end!
Scarlett comes from a sports family. Her dad is a hockey coach and only has ONE RULE- no dating his players. Scarlett had no problem with that at all…up until now! And even now, after meeting Aiden, she feels like she can keep it simple. Platonic. Just coffee with a friend, right? Right?? Too bad those sparks flying between them could start a 5-alarm fire.
Aiden knows he is playing with that fire, but he doesn’t care. He can get kicked off the team if her dad finds out. But Scarlett is worth it. At least that’s what he tells himself. When his brother walks in on them, suddenly the fire is out-of-control.
Scarlett and Aiden just can’t stay apart but they can’t be together. How will they solve this dilemma??

Hard to Buy-in
Scarlett and Aiden are a bit too good to be true. And especially to break this big unspoken rule.
It would have been more believable if they were forced together at first. Then discovered they had a connection and made the choice to see each other behind the coach’s and team’s back.
Also, everyone who knew Scarlett saw the truth, but her parents never clued in? That was hard to swallow, too.
Scarlett and Aiden are a bit too good to be true. And especially to break this big unspoken rule.

The latest book by Aven Ellis is really special! The story is beautifully told, the characters amazing, especially Wyatt (I so hope he will get his own book!😍), and most of all Matcha & Mochi!!! I absolutely adore them.

Lots of lots of romance, great characters. So much fun! I always enjoy reading Aven's books and this one was just as good as ever. It's always nice to read something that makes me smile.
