I haven't read a BJ romance this good in a while. I took off half a star for the cliches. Using the same themes in every book gets redundant. At times it took me out of the story.

*Woman with flowing shoulder length hair
*Small waist, nice round ass and firm perky breast, not big but just right
*Arrogant playboy who has never had the "best" sex until.... Now he can't sleep with anyone else.
*Man afraid to commit but sex is so good it must mean... She's the one.
*They fight the love but still have incredible sex and hope for the best.
*Oops! During all the lust and passion I forgot the condom. Damn! I never do that, ever. I no longer have a problem with the idea of her being pregnant... I think I may love her.

**Can't live without the great sex... really?

Reading these themes over and over gets old.

Thank you to Netgalley and Mira for giving me the opportunity to read and review this book.

Very good book and excellent conclusion to the series. Though this one can stand alone, the first two books (A Brother's Honor and A Man's Promise) should be read for the best experience of the story. Fifteen years earlier, the brothers' mother was murdered and their father went to prison for the crime. After college, each of them left home and started their lives elsewhere, trying to escape the memories. Then their grandfather had a heart attack and they came home to fulfill his dying wish. Save the family business and prove their father's innocence.

This book covers the story of the youngest brother, Dalton. He was the closest of the three to their mother. As the youngest, he was also rather spoiled. As he got older, things came easily to him, especially the attention of women. He became quite the playboy, well known for being the "boy toy" of older women in Europe. Thanks to an amazing business sense, he also became quite wealthy. When he came home to help with the family business, he also took the opportunity to play hard.

He first encounters Jules in the first book. They meet in a bar, where she is doing something related to her work as a PI. There is instant attraction between them, but she's not impressed by his advances. She challenges him to find her and disappears. When he finally finds her, thanks to a PI of his own, he expects her to be happy about it and fall into his arms, just like all the other women do. He was not happy when she refused him. He later discovers that Jules is the sister of the woman his brother Jace has fallen in love with. Future encounters between them are awkward at best and almost always contentious.

I have to say that through the first two books and the beginning of this one, I had a real problem with Dalton. His attitude about women, that they are basically there for his pleasure, was really irritating. His treatment of Jules, just because she refused him, is that of a spoiled brat. It bugged me that every time he was in the same room with her, all he could think about was getting her into his bed, and almost every word out of his mouth had to do with getting her there. He was also constantly on his brothers about their being in love and that they have become no fun because of it. The more he talked, the more I was looking forward to him falling.

I really liked Jules. She's strong, sassy and independent. She's attracted to Dalton, but she refuses to be just another notch on his bedpost. I loved seeing her stand up to him. Her biggest problem was that it was getting harder for her to resist him, given the explosive attraction between them.

It was interesting to see that, when they decided to give in to the attraction, both assumed it was going to be a short term thing. Each of them expected it to burn out quickly, but it didn't. It was especially satisfying to see Dalton suffer. He was unable to keep her off his mind, frequently zoning out completely, and giving his brothers the chance to give him a hard time. Both he and Jules were determined to keep their involvement quiet, especially from their families. As they spent more time together I loved watching Dalton change. At first he didn't seem to notice it, and his reaction the first time she stayed over at his place was priceless. I loved seeing him finally realize that what he had with Jules was special. Jules figured out her feelings more quickly. She wanted more from Dalton, but knowing his views, didn't expect to get it. She kept trying to work up the will to end things, but just couldn't do it. I really enjoyed the ending and the surprise of their families was fun.

The other storyline that was part of all three books, was the mystery of who really killed their mother. Threats had been made to their father while he was in prison, promising that there would be trouble if the investigation was reopened. I loved the steps he took to protect his family. It created a few amusing moments when it was discovered what he had done, but was also proved to be a good thing at the end. I loved the way that Jules decided she was going to be the one to figure it out. She is really good at what she does and uncovers some very interesting things along the way. It's really hard to figure out "whodunnit" with so many possible suspects. When it all comes together at the end there are a couple of surprises and no small amount of danger. The ending was just right.

My Review:

I did this one as a read and then watch the adaptation and I was so happy that Passionflix finally finished up this series. I was worried that they wouldn't continue but glad that they decided to finish everything off here. I loved the plot line for this one. I was worried that the enemies to lovers would be dragged out a bit too much, but thankfully it wasn't. And you can quickly see how well their chemistry is despite the angst between them. I really respect them resolving their issues a bit earlier in the book so that the suspense mystery plot would have the focus and seeing it all resolved. I found that their relationship really resonated so deeply and it definitely handled the emotional human element just right.

Overall I found this one to be a true keeper and my favorite of the series actually!!!! I definitely need to read more of this author, so if you have read her, give me all of your recommendations!!!

I loved this book!!! This is the final book in the The Grangers series and in my honest opinion it was the best. I'll will post my review soon!!

Review:
A Lover's Vow is the third and the final book in the The Grangers series. If you're unfamiliar with The Grangers you'll want to start at the beginning with A Brother's Promise as there is a mystery regarding who killed their mother. This mystery drives the story line and ties the three books together. I've enjoyed this series immensely and I'm so happy to say that A Lover's Vow did not disappoint! In fact, I'm inclined to say that this was the best of the three. I have to say that I'm pleasantly surprised by this. Sometimes you can anticipate a character throughout a series only to find that character fizzles once he or she gets a book of their own. No fizzle here!

I can be a bit long-winded so let me just jump into my review:

The Good
Let me start off by saying how much I loved the cover of this book. Sometimes I feel like African-American romance novels don't get the best covers, but that wasn't the case with A Lover's Vow. This image of Dalton doesn't quite mesh with the Dalton that I imagine, but goodness!! What a pretty man! In general, I like everything about this cover - from the color and color tone to the models. It all just blends so harmoniously. Love. It.

Dalton - Dalton is so amazingly unlike his brothers. It's one of the things that I like about this series. He isn't just a mirror image of his siblings, he's a fleshed out character who has a great deal of depth. First of all, he's amazingly spoiled. As the youngest of the family he was closest to his mother and knows things that no one else does. He's good looking, likes older women, and has spent years being a boy-toy to women in Europe. He's used to getting women without trying and is happy with the life he's created for himself. Yet, he's so much more than that also. He's the wealthiest of the brothers, as he's made wise choices and investments that have expanded his wealth beyond anything that his brothers have accomplished. He is also a man with many secrets and there's the suggestion that he may be a bit dangerous as well. To his brothers however, he is very much viewed as a spoiled and annoying kid brother who hasn't quite grown up. That's a lot of background on a character, but it's all of the reasons why I love him so much. He's perfectly imperfect and a bit of a brat.

Jules - Jules is a private investigator whose sister is married to one of Dalton's brothers (Book 1). She's smart, tough, and knows what she wants. She isn't going to be used or treated like an object by anyone. She's a strong female character that's written right! She isn't stubborn for the heck of it, or reckless just because she has something to prove. Jules is high on my list of favorite female characters of all time!

Jules and Dalton- At the start of the book these two honestly can't stand each other. They're oil and water. They first meet in a previous book and the animosity between them is alive and thriving. Beneath that animosity there is also a good deal of lust, but neither Dalton or Jules is ready to own up to it. The best parts of this book are when these two are bubbling with sexual tension yet at each others throats.

The Family - I liked seeing other members of the ever extending Granger family. I particularly like Jules father and his blind girlfriend Mona. I wouldn't have minded reading a separate story about these two. I have a feeling that there was a lot of story that could have been told.

The Bad
Since this is a romance book, it isn't a spoiler to say these two eventually end up together. The problem for me surfaces when Dalton decided he was in love with Jules. This man talked so much trash about love and his brothers getting married that his relatively easy about face just didn't do it for me. In my opinion it would have taken more than great sex to make a man like Dalton want to settle down, so his feelings just felt out of character and a little too... cliche.

Shepard Granger - This character felt like a kingpin to me. I mean really, how does this man, who was convicted of murder, hold so much power while in prison? Because he's a good listener? Offers sage advice? He's likable?? I guess it's possible, at least on television its portrayed that way - but then isn't it the bad guys who have the power in prison? Beats me really, but it made him feel a little sleazy and like a villain even though he isn't supposed to be.

Final Thoughts
I really enjoyed this book and despite the problems that I had with certain aspects of it, I'm giving it a 5 out of 5 rating. At the end of the day it's about how much I enjoyed reading a book and I enjoyed the heck out of reading this one! I was entertained and thoroughly engrossed from start to finish.

*I received a copy of this ebook from NetGalley in exchange for a fair and honest review*

NOW THAT WAS A GOOOOOOOOD BOOK! Omg!!!! A Lover's Vow is soooo worthy of having its own day!!! I dedicated this day to this book only. Brenda Jackson expertly penned The Grangers series and this last book, A Lover's Vow exceeded my high expectations!

In Book three, questions are asked and answered. Fingers are pointed left and right and for a while everyone is a suspect. The question is posed, "Who killed Sylvia Granger?" My emotions were all over the place. The suspense had me on edge! The heat was so high it seems to have steam seeping from my kindle. Dalton Granger is every bit of sexy, suave, and stubborn. Jules Bradford is equally beautiful and strong willed.

Questions to answer: Can these two control freaks lose control and get freaky?; Can an unlikely source solve the crime?; Will Sheppard Granger ever become a free man? The answers rest in this amazing, intriguing, and entertaining story that Brenda Jackson has written. This is no ordinary book. This very well may be the series to rival them all. If you've read the first two books then you were ready to move forward but if you haven't read them that's perfectly fine too. Brenda Jackson's strategically-placed backstory allows the reader to enjoy book three alone if necessary. Great job!!!!! The is one of the best books I've read all year!! It very well may be THE BEST!! I need more than five stars to rate this book but I guess five will have to suffice!

I love Brenda Jackson - but the last couple of books that I have picked up by her have been trash.
With this one I got so frustrated and impatient that I skipped (not flicked but actually skipped!) half the book!!
Jules and Danton have hated each other since I don't know when. They meet again at one of Danton's brothers weddings and sparks fly(of course)Now let's pause here for a moment:
Danton's way of talking to a woman and his arrogance really turned me off. I like a guy with some edge but this guy was so full of himself it's a wonder he was looking away from the mirror long enough to notice anyone ... but then you get the description of Jules - Jackson's descriptions of her heroine lead you to think she is too sexy, too curvy, too tough, too slim, too toned, ... too everything! Does a woman like this even exsist??
Now, the idea of the story (apparently) is that Jules decides to investigate the death of Dantons mother. I never got too deep into that because the story hadn't started and I was already onto chapter 16 - seriously the first 16 chapters are just regular stuff about the two of them and how much they hate (no love, no hate) each other. By Chapter 17 there is FINALLY a mention of the supposed plot line - and then that dissapears because from Chapter 18-26 the pair do nothing but find usefule uses for a chair (if ya know what I mean!) Chapter 26 sees them back in the supposed real world - but by 30 they are at it again. By 30 I got so peeved that I skipped to the end of the book and discovered - nothing really.
Like I said, I love Brenda Jackson but have had a bad run with her lately - of course that won'at stop me getting the next book :)

Lover’s Vow is the third and last installment of The Grainger’s trilogy. As you can assume it answers questions bringing the story to a close. I enjoyed all the brothers, but maybe Dalton a little more. Their personalities were typical of their positions; Jace the oldest and the voice of reason and leader, Caden the middle child tended to be in his own world and doing things his own way, and good ole Dalton, the little brother that got on everyone’s nerves…..in love of course.

It kept you engaged, filled with suspense, betrayal, lies, murder and secrets that crushed a lot of families. Ms. Brenda didn’t disappoint in the romance and family dynamic areas, but there was a little something added that you wouldn’t normally find in a BJ book; the use of cursing. Dalton use it throughout the book, but it made him real and not far off from his keep it real character…arrogant, a brat, a womanizer, and his thinking he was a gift to the entire female population. I applaud Ms. Brenda who dared to step out of her comfort zone to give her readers something different.

I enjoyed the relationship between Jules and Dalton, with their dominant personalities and meeting the supporting characters. I hope we haven’t seen the last of this group.

If you are still trying to decide, stop, you won’t be disappointed.

This is the first book by Brenda Jackson I've read, and I look forward to reading more by this author. This is a romance novel with a significant mystery woven into the plot. I appreciate that the mystery (involving both a murder from long ago and more recent white collar crime) was well developed, and not merely an afterthought to the romance. The only detail that didn't resonate with me was how quickly the mystery was wrapped up at the end. It actually happened so fast that I needed to reread a few pages. Otherwise, I thoroughly enjoyed this novel.

I finally read the third book in this series. I kept putting it off for so long and I don't even know why. I'm so glad I finally picked it up and finished it.

This is the third book in the series and tells the story of the last brother Dalton. Dalton has always been the playboy of the brothers but finally met his match with Shayna's sister Jules. The brothers are also still trying to find out who really murdered their mother and why so that their father can finally be released from prison.

Arrogance, Romance, Passion and Danger is what you will find in,
A Lover’s Vow.
A Lover’s Vow was worth the wait for a great ending to the series.
Many questions that was left unanswered in the previous books was answered as “Who killed Sylvia Granger” and “Would playboy Dalton
succumb to love. There was a great deal of surprises and twists to the
suspects list. We find out a little more about what Sylvia Granger was all about. Many players from the previous books returned with a bit of update on their story. The cat and mouse game with Dalton and Jules love/hate relationship heats up. There is so much passion between the two and the love that others see in them but they couldn't see.
Mrs. Jackson came through with this series as she always does with her books, so go out a pick up your copy of A Lover’s Vow you won’t regret it.

I can truly say that this book was well worth the wait. I loved how Brenda Jackson weaved us through the romance and the danger. She knew just the right amount needed for each book. This is the 3rd book in the Granger Series and brings everything home. The romance is the love/hate relationship between Dalton & Jules. As much as they hate each other they are also drawn to each other. Both of them are working on sheer determination. Dalton to get Jules in his bed and Jules to find out who is responsible for the death of Sylvia Granger. The ride with these two will be nothing short of intense. And the twist and turns that reveal the killer will have you on pins & needles. Take a minute and step into the Granger World.

Dalton Granger is known around Europe as being an amazing lover. And he's loved them all, being in great demand. Except from one woman, his brother's wife's sister, Jules Bradford. Jules is a kick-ass private investigator who helped clear up the mystery of who was trying to destroy his family's company. Now, someone is trying to kill him and she's in line to help with his protection. And maybe fall in love at the same time...
Liked the first book in this series, loved the second, and hated Dalton. What an asshat. Jules is so awesome, the kind of woman I love to read about. And then, there's Dalton. Who's a misogynistic, know-it-all, stalking, jerk. I love Brenda Jackson but this hero was not for me.

Lover's Vow

Oh I fell in love with bad boy wild child Dalton from the first book. This time the woman lover, sex em and leave em guy has met his match in Jules. She is tough as nails and won't let Daltons arrogant, entitled to any woman he wants drop them when he's done get away with a thing. As opposites as they are they are similar as well. So their romance makes you go aaaahhhhh.

The way Jules and Dalton tried to hate each other was comical. They really thought they could keep telling themselves they couldn’t stand the other. This book had so many twists and turns with the investigation of Sylvia’s murder. It took three books to finally find out what happened in the boathouse. I enjoyed all of the suspense in trying to figure it out. Very entertaining. This was a really good series, one more book to go.

This is Dalton Granger's story which I am pretty sure most of us have been waiting for since Book 1 LOLL!!! Dalton who is the youngest of his brothers is a hot mess and the things he says out of his mouth will have you on the floor.

Dalton Granger, Billionaire playboy ex-undercover agent the world is his oyster and he can have any woman that he wants. Dalton loves picking on his brothers who are now married and attached to the hip with their wives but there is nothing he wouldn't do for them at all, he loves them fiercely and will protect them with his life. The only one he wouldn't be giving his life for is Jules Bradford (Shanna's sister who is married to his older brother Jace "Book 1"), she can fall off of a cliff and he could careless. The animosity that these two have for each other can easily start World War 3.

Jules Bradford private investigator, ex-cop and ex-detective. Who along with her bestie Manning whom she met when they were in the police academy together. After graduating they were beat cops but he quit saying this wasn't the job for him. So after she left the force to open up her own agency, Manning came to work for her as her assistant and researcher. Jules is exceptionally good at what she does, so when there is a threat against the family, Jules gets involved because her sister is now a part of this family. Much to Dalton chagrin, they must work together. When Jules states that she is reopening their father's case (Sheppard who is in jail for the murder of his wife which he didn't kill her) because she believes like the family that Shep is innocent and will set out to prove it.

Dalton and Jules have a rendezvous in Miami with the promise of their being no repeat when they get back to North Carolina, all animosity aside the two now realize that it is hard to be apart from another. The ice is quickly melting between these two that's for sure LOLLL!!!

In this story Quasar, Striker and Stonewall come out of the shadows to reveal themselves as their bodyguards, hired by their dad Shep who they love and revere. They have been tailing and protecting Shep's sons unbeknownst to them the whole time until a slip up by one of the other bodyguards have them coming out of the shadows. Also, Shep's attorney Carson comes out of the shadows as well, to first reveal that she is a woman and not a man (because of her name) and to let Shep's sons know that not only is she their father's attorney but they are also in love with each other.

The three bodyguards will have their own series called, "The Protectors" which the first 2 books are now available for purchase and Shep's story "Captivated by Love" is also available for purchase.

Dalton's story had so many twists and turns and who done it, who is the culprit. Author Brenda Jackson will leave you guessing until the very end and your mind will be blown. She did an excellent with this story and I am excited to continue the series.

Well Until Next Time...Ciao Bellas!

What a fantastic ending to this wonderful trilogy by author Brenda Jackson. This book tied up all the loose ends from the previous two books, mainly who killed Sylvia Granger and if Sheppard Granger murdered her. Well, I tell you that it all comes to a shocking revelation that you would not believe. This book was very entertaining with a lot of witty dialogue from Dalton with other characters as well as his love-hate relationship with Jules. Once you start this book you will not want to put it down.

Remember this series started with a promise from Jace, Caden and Dalton to their a dying grandfather to save the family business, Granger Aeronautics and get their father out of jail. Their father was in jail for 15 years for the murder of their mother Sylvia Granger.

With all of the curiosity of who murdered Sylvia Granger, you have sensual undertones, charismatic men, intelligent characters and a well thought out mystery being uncovered. Even if you thought you had figured it all out by the end of book two, A Man's Promise, think again, it's not what you think. My advice is to simply enjoy this story as it unfolds and not try to figure out who did it along the way because you will miss all the beauty, laughter, and drama happening between all the characters. Everyone in this book held the spot light at some point in the story, but of course DALTON light shined so much brighter. He is a very complex character that you will enjoy getting to know. Let's not forget Jules Bradford, the sexy P.I., who is on the prowl to uncover the truth about what really happened at Granger Aeronautics and how it all ties to Sheppard Granger. Can she get to the bottom of it all with Dalton on her tail too? Read...and enjoy the revelation. No spoilers here, but I will tell you this book is HOTTTTTTT and entertaining.

Although this book was part of a trilogy, I believe you can pick this book and read it as a stand alone because Mrs. Jackson gives very good flash backs and updates of the characters and situations. However, to really want to enjoy the series, you want to start from the beginning with "A Brother's Honor" then "A Man's Promise" .

Awesome job Mrs. Jackson for writing such an amazing story line with great characters. Although this series had ended, I know these characters will pop up in another series she starts down the line.

A pretty bad ending to the series. The killer was a random old woman who had a Napoleon complex. I honestly had no idea who she was and how we could have even guessed the killer, considering she was not even mentioned before (at least not that I remember!) ... STUPID!

The romance was ridiculous - the books in this series all seem like the same book! Two ridiculously good looking people have a love/hate relationship, they fight the attraction, they can't fight it anymore, the sex is amazing, they end up humping like rabbits 24/7, they FORGET to use a condom (in ALL three books, the same thing happens! Really??) , and after this happens they realize that they actually wouldn't mind a baby at all , because - hey! - they are actually in love. The end ! STUPID!

And finally, each of the three books had the exact same ridiculously easy mystery resolution, because the bad guy talks too much in order to "kill the time before killing the victim" so he/she spills their guts and admits to everything while secretly being recorded! And then the FEDS swoop in and save the day! Really?! Every time?! I am afraid that I will have to say "goodbye" to Brenda Jackson if this is all she is willing to offer us... This is just plain lazy writing!

As soon as this book was in my hands, I dropped everything to read it. This is the third book in the Granger Series and please read the first two before reading this one. I've been waiting on Dalton's story for what seems like forever, but as usual Brenda Jackson does not disappoint. There is so much going on in this book that there is never a dull moment. You have the intense attraction between Jules and Dalton, but you also have everyone trying to figure out who killed Sylvia Granger. For those of you who read books one and two and made your guesses to who the killer was....be prepared to be surprised. My guess was completely wrong and that's totally okay because I loved how it all turned out. There is so many twists and turns in this story that your eyes will be glued to the pages, but one thing is for sure, Brenda Jackson covered everything. Everything is explained in detail and nothing is left out. As for Jules and Dalton. They brought the HEAT! A Lover's Vow is a MUST READ!!

The one thing that I always find admirable while reading a Brenda Jackson
story is the strong sense of family. The Grangers are a close knit family that are on the verge of losing everything because of long withheld secrets. Dalton is the youngest in this family and A Lover's Vow is his story. Dalton is searching for answers that may save his family legacy. Jules is the private investigator he asks to help him. There are a lot of unexpected twists and turns along the way that will keep you on the edge of your seat. That being said this book is a strong and captivating end to a well put together adventurous series. Definitely worth a look. Received an ARC for an honest review and I have to say that this was a great ending to a captivating series.

The youngest Grainer brother Dalton, is gorgeous, arrogant, witty, fun and a Billionaire Mogal. He can get any woman he wants and seldom does 1 night and done, but Dalton runs into a beautiful woman and she won't give him the time of day. I had decided "self, you really should rate the audiobooks you read - especially if/when you review them just as you finish them." And I was going to - but :X for this book it felt like I lost focus a lot and missed chunks.
And I WAS going to immediately start it as soon as I finished it; and it was the plan till [totally guessing since again, audiobook - no way of knowing when it happened/too difficult to track down] like 85 or 90% in and I was like "no this book jumped the shark too much."

I listened to book 2 a while back, and liked it enough to listen to the others in this series but I also hadn't listened to book 1 so I think there were probably plot points I didn't know and also there were characters I didn't remember.

I liked how there were some false flags etc and it was O_o
ALTHOUGH - like the "big villains" ...

Ok so there's a lot. Let's start from the beginning.
I want to say Dalton and Jules' "relationship" starts in book 2; that's where they meet. And it's a whole thing; she meets him at a club, won't tell him who she is because he's an arrogant ass, she's like "if you wanna know me you'll find me" so ... he first tries to ignore her/it, but then can't and ... I WANT to say he hires a PI to find her? Or in the course of trying to find a PI to track her down he discovers she is one? It's been a while.

NOW THE ISSUE IS - when he just shows up at her place of work, he expect her to fuck him. He's all "I found you - now it's time to get down." And ... of course Jules is like "WTF? No." AND HE'S FURIOUS ABOUT IT. He has a goddamn tantrum and is an asshole and is like "omg you're such a fucking bitch" and it becomes a whole thing and there's a rift and awkward family shit. (Because of course Jules' sister is Dalton's brother's wife.../Dalton's SIL)

I was just ... like - Jules had the normal reaction.
But I almost felt like she was ... she wasn't OKAY with what he did but more gave him a pass because her focus was like "oh but what about a relationship" (in general, not necessarily with him) - and when he tells his siblings yes they're like "you're an idiot" but they don't cal him out on his insane grotesque behavior.

Like ... ok dude. You're hot, you're rich, you're charming. Girls normally drop like flies at your feet.
But you don't EXPECT sex from someone - especially not a damn stranger.

Like WTAF.
I felt gaslit because it's just ... low key okay. How he is.

No.

I didn't look when this book was published - kinda don't want to - but like there's a WHOLE CAST of characters - which was a lot but fun - but the issue is the villains.

OH! And when Dalton is a big fucking baby and an asshole to Jules when he wakes up to her in his bed and he's all "why are you still here."
... Fucking asshole. And she's all "this is fine" basically.

It's usually not my cuppa but I've been seeing a lot of "true" enemies to lovers/hate fucking and we ~kinda have that here? And I was like "I'm going to try to like it" and - I actually did, mostly.
Notice I didn't really mention those issues.

The issues that I REALLY had were what I mentioned.

Jace being an asshole but people just letting it slide. I guess maybe he's more like Archer [the FX/FXX cartoon character - which, I KNOW- but anyway, Archer is 95% awful, but people give him a pass/love him anyway, because he's Archer, and he's charming and shit - so like... maybe that? But in "print"/books it's harder to give them a pass/especially in romance - as Archer isn't a romance.]

And then there's SO MUCH going on with ... literally Dalton's dad has TWENTY groomsmen at his wedding.

There's a lot of secondary romances - which honestly, I didn't mind, especially since I want to say at least 2 pairings were characters in their 60s or older? Yay!

But a huge cast of people you were expected to remember - like their bodyguards etc...
And with so much it kinda detracts or distracts from the main romance.

Maybe I'll reread this book/try to fill in the gaps?
But I don't think I can do a back to back read because the issues.

I'd probably have said this was a C read but then when you get into the "why all these things are happening/the villain" stuff...

Suspenseful page turner, full of surprises, twist & turns. This is the final installment to The Granger series and it's centered around the youngest brother, Dalton, and his love interest Jules. They're both independent, stubborn but their sexual chemistry is off the charts and they're in love with one another but to arrogant & sassy to admit it.
On the other hand, Jules has reopened the case to find out who killed Sylvia. New suspects are coming to light and more information is being discovered. All will help, but is it enough to prove Sheppard's innocence??

Fabulous as always!

I can't say there was anything about this book, or this series, that I didn't like. This book certainly had more suspense then the other two. I kept thinking I knew who did it and was quite surprised to find out who the murderer was. As always with Mrs. Jackson, you have men who really know how to love their women. And strong women who know how to love their men. I would recommend this book (series) to anyone who enjoys a good romance murder mystery. I'll be patiently waiting for her next book.
