VOLUME 5: CHAPTER 17-20
BORUTO: TWO BLUE VORTEX CHAPTER 17
Konohamaru and his team confronted Matsuri and Ryu. Their mission is to collect the Juubi's thorn bulb. The thorn bulb is the only way to retrieve Moegi and Shinki. According to the intel Shikamaru got, the Juubi is like a new offspring of wild beast. They are not pure evil and act based on their instinct. Konohamaru was assigned to befriend them and betray them. They managed to separate Ryu and Matsuri. Konohamaru knows that Matsuri bears a romantic emotion toward him. He will use the opportunity to accomplish the mission.
In Konoha, Jura buys a book in a bookstore and Shikamaru orders no provocation. In Amado's lab, Kawaki attacks Amado and ask him to draw all his power to the fullest extent.
BORUTO: TWO BLUE VORTEX CHAPTER 18
"Only babble in your sleep" and suddenly Kawaki was collapsed. Amado used the emergency shutdown code on Kawaki. After Kawaki wakes up, Amado agrees to draw all Kawaki's power to the maximum but on one condition. Amado shows his daughter, Akebi's clone. He tried many time to duplicate her soul but he failed. He wants to resurrect Akebi using Kawaki's karma. Akebi might become one of the Ohtsutsuki but Kawaki swear to kill her. Kawaki agrees and promise to help Amado but only after he kill the Shinju, Code and Boruto.
Matsuri called Konohamaru-chan and it's same like Moegi. Konohamaru refused to be called Konohamaru-chan by Matsuri. Ryu is trying to trace Boruto with his iron sand technique. Mitsuki propose to Ryu to use the thorn bulb to lure Boruto out. Yodo trying to get the thorn bulb but she was freezed. Ryu's iron sand coated their body and manipulated it. Araya countered it by using the Load-Stone Sand Sealing Blade.
BORUTO: TWO BLUE VORTEX CHAPTER 19
The Loadstone Sand-Sealing Blade is given by Shinki which it was infused by his chakra. The Araya-Mitsuki-Sarada combo managed to get the upperhand over Ryu. Ryu then summoned the Claw Grimes to counter them. The Claw Grimes managed to take Araya's blade away. Konohamaru is going to be devoured by Matsuri. Jura, Hidari and Mamushi discussed about human's nature called love.
BORUTO: TWO BLUE VORTEX CHAPTER 20
Matsuri realized Konohamaru is dangerous to her. Suddenly, a tears come out from Matsuri eyes. Konohamaru knows deep inside Matsuri didn't want to kill him. Konohamaru ask Matsuri to hold his hand. Because of love, Matsuri wavered over devouring Konohamaru and allowed him to use Oodama Rasengan to her. And because of love, Konohamaru fell over Matsuri who said "Konohamaru-chan". Konohamaru being stabbed and slip his victory away.
Araya and Mitsuki were defeated by Ryu and were held hostage by him. Ryu wants an intel about Boruto to let them free. As they have no any intels about Boruto, Yodo offers herself to help Ryu track Boruto and in return Ryu must let Araya, Mitsuki and Sarada go. Ryu stabbed Yodo and caught Sarada. Suddenly, all the iron sand was sucked upward. Sarada activate her Mangekyou Sharingan.

Catching up with the manga. I stand behind it. It's much more advanced in story, consequences, and scale to the rest of the earlier Boruto and Narutos.
It DOES have its faults, but really, it's all a matter of perspective. It's building something big and it still needs to pull off one hell of a hat trick... and at this point, it's a matter of faith for the reader.
That's not to say it won't happen. But if it does? I'm going to be pretty amazed. For now, patience. The Divine Tree needs to grow.

Nothing super crazy but good in general. I've read the previous volume all the way back in January so I had to go back a few chapters to remember what happened. Currently in the Shinki Rescue Arc, our heroes face against these new Juubi beast human hybrid things. One half is dedicated to the fight between Shinki's clone and the other is between Konohamaru and Moegi's clone. The ending has a nice twist though.

lo estoy marcando ahora por que me había olvidado pero antes de ayer y ayer leí los último 8 capitulo. que puedo decir estoy amando este manga. más que el anime de boruto nex generation. lo único malo es que no esta terminado. me encantaría que este terminado y leermelo todo de una.

Allora questa idea dell’albero che ha preso vita e che ogni pezzo di quest’albero sia alla fine una reincarnazione “cattiva” del personaggio che ha catturato la trovo geniale! Mi è dispiaciuto che konohamaru abbia scoperto in questo modo che la sua amica da sempre fosse innamorata di lui 🤣
In ogni caso Sarada è io mio spirito guida davvero , è diventata proprio una bomba 💣 pronta a combattere ! Mi ha proprio stupita la sua crescita! Super felice di vedere che tanti personaggi e anche nemici sono cresciuti bene in questa saga!
