This was a really captivating second chance romance. Molly and Josh had my heart. Through a lot of conversations and understanding, the two were able to work out their past. I loved that they were able to do that and find their way back together.

Her life changed when he disappeared without a second word and she has a whole new life. He then reappears but it will not be so easy as old feelings rise against the background of her getting married. Life is about to get complicated very quickly as there are people hunting for his missing father as well. See just where they will lead you

I usually really enjoy romantic suspence books because there is a lot of action to drive the plot of the story and this one had promise, it just didn't deliver as much as it could have. Josh and Molly did not seem to develop into fully fleshed out three dimensional characters and I felt the same way about the plot. It just felt like we only every breached the surface and that depth was not there.

Love in the Shadows grabbed me from page one and never let go. What began as a sweet romance between Josh and Molly quickly turned scary. The family’s sudden escape from a criminal gang is both tense and heartbreaking. From there, the suspense ramps up even further.

I loved how Molly’s courage and the slow rebuild of her relationship with Josh unfolds alongside the investigation. The final act is pure cinematic drama which left me breathless. A powerful, blend of second-chance romance and danger.
