Hell Difficulty Tutorial: Book Seven
The second tournament begins, but this time one of the Group 4 members is missing.
With the life of his group member at stake, Nathaniel is set to obliterate everyone in his way during Earth’s second tournament, where the entire planet participates. All of this happens under the watchful eyes of Lissandra, who continues to refuse to die and will surely not make things easy.
There are five events to beat. The winner of the Fourth Round’s tournament turns out to be an unexpected and pleasant surprise, and Earth’s best is waiting to be faced.
In the midst of all this, two friends go on a road trip into the desert in an old, rusty Toyota Camry without an AC.
Even after all of that, there is no room for a breather. With a new floor, amazing new opportunities come, and with them come many dangers as well as a Candidate that should not exist.

Biscuit best doggo
I always rate but this is the first review I'm doing. I've read about 150 or so books since last April and this series is probably my favorite. It started weird but character growth has been strong. I recommend this series highly enough that I'm taking the time to type it out. That's the most glowing endorsement I can make.

The Angry Kittens are on a mission to help save one of their own during the second tournament of their tutorial. This tournament puts them up against other rounds from Earth to see how strong they truly are. Of course Nathaniel is doing crazy things with mana and primordial energies and pissing half of the attendees off. I’m still enjoying the series and the running joke that Nat thinks of himself as the most normal out of his entire round.

Great read
I really enjoyed this book. The series itself is a great read as long as you can get past the first book. I am still convinced that Biscuit will be the best Absolute on earth. It has been interesting to see the progression of the main character considering what a complete ass he was in the first book. I look forward to the next one.

In the elite class of this category
I don’t know who Cerim is, but they are elevating this genre. Fast paced, funny, persistently surprising, and characters who feel real. This is up there with the Cradle series.

Nate is Basic Now
The MC has made a 180 from where he began, and I don’t say that n a flattering sense. The only reason I give the book two stars is because the magic system and plot are still generally interesting. The author seems to have caved to fans complaints and the MC is a caring joke cracking regular guy. This equates to the MC reading like any other interchangeable character in this setting. The cold, methodical, self interested version he began as was far more unique and engaging to read about. Due to the common fashion he is now being written in I dislike Nateand as an extension don’t enjoy the books nearly as much.

I really liked this one. It was great to finally see NoName meet up with his sister, and she’s just as wild as he is, which made those moments hit even more. You can clearly see the progression across the board, not just with him but with the whole Round Four. The growth feels earned, and the story keeps building in a way that stays engaging.
The series is still just as strong as the first book, and I’m enjoying the ride all the way through.

I'm still enjoying this series. I do find the writing in the present tense to be uncomfortable every so often, but usually manage to get over that.
This book has the second tournament arc in it. Who doesn't like a tournament arc? Me, it turns out, although I do like the interactions between the people who are brought together for the tournament, and the author did add some interesting twists along the way. Unfortunately, towards the end of the book it suggests there will be a third tournament arc later in the series, and I'm not especially looking forward to that.

After the huge disappointment that was volume 6 in a series that had been flawless until then, I'm relieved by this seventh installment, which gets back on track.
Of course, the second tournament plays a big part in this, even if some fights were a bit long for my taste and some other aspects are glossed over a little too quickly.
This tournament takes up two-thirds of the book, and the last third is devoted to the 8th level, and I must say that this level is much more interesting than levels 6 and 7.
I can't wait for the next volume!

Phenomenal
Astonishingly good. My favorite book series by far, and this entry does not disappoint. The events surrounding Tess... it is one of the most effective character motivation devices I've ever seen, and I hate it. I hate it because it is so good, it fits the story so well, that I like it, and I like the character so much that it hit me harder than it should have. It caught me completely by surprise and I can't remember the last time that happened.

Not sure how he does it, but how difficulty to tutorial seven is the best yet the characters keep on developing they get funnier and the story remains tight and interesting. Pacing the strong and more and more is revealed, but there’s lots more to find out. Super enjoyable.

This one felt like the shortest book of the bunch. The story doesn't progress far; and I hate the time-loop shenanigans.
Nat is finally no longer mentally a 12 year old; so that is great.
The returners coming back is fine, and the "diary of what fake Lissandra did" is a nice touch to give the reader greater information on the entire setting;

A solid tournament arc, followed by a rapid conclusion of the seventh floor and the introduction of the eighth.
Strong characters, compelling narrative, and interesting challenges made for a fun read.

This is my favorite story at the moment and this one does not disappoint. Things are getting more and more interesting as they progress with multiple stories going simultaneously. The tutorial, earth, and whatever is going on in beyond with the rulers and Lissandra.

Brilliant
Still getting better and still got it's funny bits mixed in with the more intense bus. Love the ending with channeler and his uselessly handsome face, he is really going to hate it but probably appreciate the chaos.

Really enjoyed this entry into the series. Grabbed me and I had the whole 'don't want to put this down' experience. I'd been reading this on KU, and I finally bought the whole series as soon as I was done with it and went to see if the next one was out.

so glad I tried this series again
Like many it took me a few tries to get past the apparent starting character protagonist but I am so glad I did. This is my new favourite LitRPG, and this book in particular was exceptional.
