I read this book over Christmas season. I am so glad I did. The nostalgia that Renee and David’s story conjures is magical.
Renee is reminiscent of black women who fear true love but still hunger for it. David’s steady demeanor and unwillingness to give up is that of days from old. It is a love story worth reading.

Such a cute story line!! Descriptions were fantastic, helping you to picture scenes vividly. Very easy and quick read.
