This was a good little fast paced thriller. The characters were entertaining. The story had a lot of mystery to it. The twist was a good one although a little predictable. Overall this was a nice little mystery to solve.

At the epicentre of this mounting terror is Tyler Michaels, the ambitious and driven proprietor of the hottest new spot in Cassidy Point. Her restaurant, a beacon of modern cuisine and vibrant nightlife, has suddenly become ground zero for a chilling crime wave. Tyler is talented, highly visible, and perhaps a little too ambitious for her own good, drawing an unwanted spotlight to her establishment and, by extension, herself.
Recognizing the gravity of the situation Tyler brings into the mix, Morgan Singer, a young, green reporter whose lack of experience is offset by a fierce intelligence and a compelling journalistic bite. Together, they begin the difficult process of digging through the mounting evidence, trying to unearth the truth buried beneath the sensational headlines.
Each clue they uncover, each whispered rumour they follow, twists the net tighter around the restaurant, pulling secrets from the shadows that the town. The atmosphere is fraught with suspicion and paranoia.

This was my first book by the author Harper Cade and I enjoyed it immensely. The pacing was perfect, and the constant feeling of dread kept me turning the pages. I will definitely be looking for more of this author's work in the future. I love thrillers; they are so captivating and suspenseful.

Wow! A fast paced thrilling mystery that grabs you from the beginning and never lets you go until the surprise ending! Our Protagonist, Tyler Michaels is the owner of the newest hot restaurant to go to. But things go awry when her restaurant becomes the hot spot for a few murders! Wow, Tyler has to get involved in solving the crimes and ease the tensions in Cassidy Point. With the help of a young, inexperienced journalist, Morgan Singer, Tyler dives into an investigation that gets her closer and closer to danger herself. What a roller coaster ride you are on with all the twists and turns as you keep turning pages to this unputdownable book. I received an ARC of this book but the opinions expressed here are strictly my own.

Someone is targeting the staff at Tyler's, the hottest eatery in Cassidy Point. The victims share nothing in common except their connection to the restaurant. This story kept me guessing the killer’s identity until the very end—and I was completely wrong! Saying I was surprised is putting it mildly. You need to read this one for yourself! I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book.
