This is book 3 in the Dubinin Bratva series. I love a good mafia romance and this had all the good stuff, war, kidnapping, betrayal, attraction, surprise pregnancy etc.
Sadie is an FBI agent tracking and hunting Emil Dubinin of the Dubinin Bratva. She thinks he is the key to taking down the organized crime family. Little does she know Emil knows he is being tracked and turns the table on her and kidnaps her.
This story was full of plot twists I didn’t see coming and it really kept me on my toes! I liked that it was an insta attraction and lust but they weren’t head over heels in love from the jump, which is unrealistic to me.
This story was definitely a twist on the normal mafia romance as I have never read where an agent and a mafioso get together.
If you love the bad boy mafia vibes and a sassy fmc who holds her own then give this book a read.

This is a wonderful addition, captivating reading and the characters and plot were simply wonderful
Emil Bubinin is the assassin for the family, they are very respected and they are known for taking out only those that are harmful, crooked, have killed, are a threat to their family of friends or business of for those that have evil or poor taste in crimes they commit.
Sadie an agent has been following Emil in the hope that they can capture him and use him as a witness to gain information on his family, or possibly on any of the other families of bratva families they deal with.
When Emil actually notices that he has an agent following him he knows that he should be outraged that she has been able to track him down on several occasions. However, he realises that he actually has started to look out for her at the airports and other locations he visits, when she turns up at the airport, he cannot help himself and takes her hostage which was not as easy as he’d anticipated she had put up quite the fight.
When Emil reaches a safe house and unloads the tiny agent tying her very securely to a chair so that she cannot escape, over a period of several days he still has not been able to get Sadie to give up any clues about herself or the department she walks for. During the weeks they are at the house and then are forced to go on the run they actually allow their attraction to progress and when he leaves her alone several weeks later, she returns to her agency.
Within only a few days she is accused of being a traitor and selling information by superiors she already believes are dirty and taking money for information they provide to other crime families and groups. Then they discover another important piece of information and she knows that she has to reach Emil if she is to ensure that both she and the secret she carries are kept safe, she knows for definite now that her agency has been selling information that could cost her life and that they have put a target on her back.
I guarantee that you will be totally captivated by this boot the writing is simply amazing and the action will keep readers guessing right up to the very end of the book. I cannot wait for future books by this simply wonderful author who writes the most wonderful characters and the greatest plots.

Loved it. Book 3 brings it all to the table and doesn’t disappoint. Thrilling spicy funny dangerous exciting and more that keeps u enthralled to the last page. I couldn’t put it down. Sadie is the tiny feisty spitfire fbi agent determined to arrest Emil and interrogate him. Emil is the master assassin for his father the pakhan of one of the largest mafia enterprises and gets intrigued when he sees Sadie trying to follow him at different airports. So he kidnaps her but finds she much stronger than he’s expects and she refuses to talk and tell him anything. In the heat of the jungle with few clothes between them he decides to play with her sexually to get her to break but it doesn’t go as planned. They end up on the run from attackers where they need to partner and protect each other while giving in to the sexual attraction and intense chemistry both feel. But Emil knows it will never work between them because she’ll never give up her career as an agent and he wouldn’t want her to if it made her unhappy so lets her go. Months later she tracks him down pregnant and with hits out on her life and fir Emil it changes everything.he never expected to be a dad and hasn’t been able to get her out of his head or heart. This changes everything esp when she’s in danger from all sides and perhaps the agency she was dedicated to that set her up then fired her isn’t as law abiding as she thought. Tons of plot twists, exciting events, danger, conflict, lust, laughs, compromise, discovery and more in every page. In the end can two ppl on opposite sides of the law find their way together and be accepted by those who don’t believe it’s possible esp when it started from a kidnapping. and can he save his unborn baby and woman he’s fast falling for when so many want her dead?

Emil Dubinin is doing something at the wedding of Ivan and Raisa when the story opens. He's babysitting; its not his forte ! And he's late !!! Again ! Something that one of the kids is NOT afraid to call him on ! Hilarious especially since he is this dangerous mob assassin ! Of course, he's also family so the kids aren't afraid of him at all. I smiled often while reading this story !His father who is this Big Mob boss has a much younger wife named Gabriella, who has softened him somewhat but he's still tough in his own ways. I ended up liking his father and how it bugged his dad when he called Gabriella, "Gabby". Emil was a character and he was hilarious !!! Deadly but also hilarious ! Especially when he made it a game with Sadie Langer, the FBI agent that caught his attention. The first time she followed him to try to catch him, he spotted her right away ! That whole cat and mouse was SO entertaining although she didn't think so. He made her the laughing stock of her FBI unit. Especially her Supervisor Special Agent Hufford who already HATED her and couldn't wait to humiliate her !
I liked that both of Emil and Sadie got to share their thoughts. And how Emil called her his, ''Little Agent." They went toe to toe many times and ended up having each others backs too ! I loved that a lot ! She was one sassy, tough woman and Emil adored the challenge of her.

Sadie's parents were murdered by the Cartel when she was very young and then was put into foster homes never adopted. Her mission is to clean up the streets and bring criminals to justice, that's why she's been following Emil, she wants to take him in, but he keeps evading her, disappearing every time. She wants to prove that she as good as any of the men she works with, but what she doesn't know is that most of them are in bed with the Cartel, so they are messing up her cases.
When she gets kidnaped, she doesn't expect either of them to fall for the other, just falling into bed was enough to get her fired. Her and Emil go on the run from the Cartel because they think they're on their land. Sadie gets back to work eventually and gives an edited version of what happened but for some reason they don't believe her and fire her then call her a traitor.
She feels like she's being watched and followed but can't prove it, so she goes into hiding. Sadie knows she's pregnant with Emils baby so he's her last chance to save them both and protect them from whoever is after her. She finds him, explains what's going on and then he hides with them until they can figure out who it is and why.

This is the 3rd story in The Dubinin Bratva Series that has Emil intrigued by a FBI agent, Sadie who thinks she’s tracking his travels with the end goal of bringing down his criminal family. Emil turns the tables around on Sadie and captures her for weeks and then they become hunted by the Cartel. These two find themselves in a relationship full of danger, war, betrayal and end up protecting each other when danger comes their way. When Sadie is left without Emil, brokenhearted she returns to work being called a traitor and no job. Sadie finds herself in hiding to protect their unborn child and only goes to Emil for help she finds herself taken again by the Cartel and Emil and his family does what is necessary to find her! Emil works for the bratva and is being tracked by Sadie. She works for the FBI and doesn't know that she is also being watched. Emil tracks her down and kidnaps her. He wants to know what she knows but she refuses to give him anything. He is very attracted to her. Their chemistry is amazing. When the Cartel finds them, they have to escape.
Emil and Sadie escape but then he leaves. Sadie goes back home and loses her job. She then finds out she is pregnant. She goes to tell Emil.
I loved this story and the chemistry between Emil and Sadie. I always enjoy the pregnancy trope and this one is not to be missed. I look forward to more from this talented author.

She is trying to capture him for 2 reasons. 1 is to stop his family from killing anymore people and 2 to stop a new group of Mafia families all over the world from forming. But she doesn't know that they are not wanting to join it and in fact was involved in the murder of the person everyone expected to take control.
But instead of Sadie catching Emil he catches her. But can they control the attraction?.

I really loved reading this book. I thought this was very engaging and addictive. I couldn’t put this book down. I loved the storyline, I thought it was well thought out and the layout was perfect. I liked the characters, Sadie and Emil they were so different that they worked. I really enjoyed the cat n mouse game they played. They are from totally different worlds but want the same outcome. This book was just brilliant, I also liked that I got to read about the other characters from previous books. Great book, great series, highly recommend.

Wow what an incredible book this was I was in shocked, and maybe made me cry a little. It so good to read about an assassin and a FBI agent what can possibly go wrong with them. Well let's just say when you chase and stalk they eventually they well catch up and bet you to it. Bad decision may lead to something bad or even good but sometimes you have to suffer the consequences and will everything be worth it?
I highly recommend reading this book.

This start out as a cat and mouse game between an FBI agent and Mafia enforcer, quite an awkward combination.
For Sadie and Emil it can take them on a rather unexpected journey.
On the run by her own FBI and a cartel waning them both dead, throw in falling in love, pregnancy, kidnappings you have it all.
That's not happening without quite a lot of danger and a few deaths along the way.
And the ending, well you will just have to read it to find out.

I loved this story of Sadie and Emil. It is the third book in this series, but can be read as a standalone.
Emil is the son of a Mafia leader, Sadie is a strong FBI agent tasked to apprehend him. When he turns the tables on her the passion ignites and neither can fight it.
The mafia aspect is not overdone, and the steam is just right for this to be a great pageturner.

This fast-paced, well-written action/adventure Mafia romance has drama, danger, betrayal, violence, attraction, chemistry, an unlikely match and found family. The MCs are intelligent, determined, have great chemistry, and are engaging and likable. The secondary characters are also worthy of their own stories. I enjoyed this entertaining book.

Sadie's and Emil's story was well written with a unique plot that was very appealing. The characters provided a backdrop of suspense, intrigue, sexual tension and appeal that was very entertaining. I loved that this story took a different approach in the Dubinin Bratva series focusing on a FBI agent tasked with getting as much dirt as possible on the Bratva and Emil.
It took place in different locations, with different bad actors such as the cartel who was suppose to kill Sadie after she was left in the jungle by Emil, a corrupt FBI, a criminal family tasked with finding who was acting as a mole to destroy them. Well paced with plenty of sexual tension between our two main characters that developed over time, while Sadie hid the fact she was pregnant.
Well done. If you want a change of pace in this genre, I highly recommend this book.

I should have known that this book by Ava was going to be difficult to put down once I started reading it. Emil & Sadie rocked this book. The romance, chemistry and suspense is what hooks you right away. My only regret is not reading this book sooner in the day because it keeps you up late and back up early again finishing it up. Awesome 5/5-star book right here.

Although it took me a bit to get into this, I absolutely loved it. The back and forth between these two was perfect. The person Emil became with her, especially once she came back into his life was everything. The connection, the drama, the love, the everything.

Great Story!!
I was so engaged from the very beginning of this book, loved reading Shattered Vows. Sadie and Emil’s story was intense, action packed with so many twist and turns and super HOT too. Loved their story!!

Sadie is FBI and Emil is a mafoa enforcer, two sides of the law that should never entwine but one niggt changes everything and whe she finds out shes pregnant and enemeis closing in Emil will do anything to keep her safe. Well written engaging steamy desires drama and more.
