Cass Temple is a retrieval agent - a thief to some, a hero to others. Her return stolen treasures to their rightful owners. Elusive and calculating, Cass has never been caught. But that's about to change.
FBI Agent Adam Maddox has traced the pattern, the signature moves, the impossible escapes. What he doesn't know is who she is... or that their pasts are already entwined.
From the glittering streets of Paris to the hidden vaults of Zurich, Cass and Adam are drawn into a dangerous chase where nothing is as it seems and every truth has its price. As loyalties blur and sparks ignite, one question when the final move is played, who will steal The Pandora... and who will steal a heart?

I enjoyed the Lexi Graves mysteries but this book is better! I can’t wait for the next book, hopefully….. I always preferred Adam to Solomon, and this book gives more depth into Maddox character. Solomon doesn’t have much depth. Maybe the next Lexi Graves books can give readers a deeper look into his character and make him more real and likable. Go Adam
I loved getting Cass and Maddox’s story! Maddox is one of my favorite characters from the Lexi Graves series, so naturally I was drawn to this book. Then we were introduced fo Cass in the newer Lexi books, and I was hooked. It’s about a retrieval agent planning a big heist and her high school sweetheart turned FBI agent trying to track her down. Cass up and disappeared one day from high school and had moved overseas leaving Adam behind. Now years later they run into one another in Paris. I loved getting to see the heist planning and meeting Cass’s crew. I look forward to more stories with Cass and Maddox!
Wow !! I loved every bit of this book !! Great characters that bring different dynamics to the story. Plenty of twists and turns to keep you holding your breath with every turn of the page. Just an all together great story !! Highly recommend reading the Lexi Graves series to learn more about Adam (also an amazing series)
I loved getting to see Maddox in a different setting. The book was fun and kept my attention. I did it enjoy it as much as the Lexi Graves books, but it may be that I know those characters so much better. Maybe Cass will grow on me.
While Con Heir is nothing like Camilla Chafer's series featuring Lexi Graves, it is just as fun. When FBI Agent Maddox and retrieval agent Cassie Temple encounter each other since their heartbreaking separation in high school, they click immediately, but since they are one different sides of the law, neither is ready to admit how much the other still means to them. Cassie believes that what she is doing is the right thing, but she knows that law enforcement takes a different view of things. Maddox slowly realizes the Cassie may be the person he has come to France to capture and his heart is once again broken as he faces a difficult decision. Fans will recognize both Maddox and Cassie but the Lexi book that includes Cassie takes place after they have reconnected. Most of you will be please to that they are back together and we all hope to see them in action again. Watching Cassie plan the heist adds to the draw of the must-read book.
LOVED thos book!!! It's a fun cat and mouse caper that kept me guessing until the end. This novel focused on Maddox as he pursued his FBI career. He's focused on an elusive art thief, but doesn't know how much of his guesses/profile is accurate. His whole plan is thrown into chaos when he runs into his first love at the s scene of a future crime.
This book is witty and smart, along with bits of humor. I hope it's the beginning to a spin off series and can't wait to read more. Fans of the genre will love this book. The author is on my must read authors' list.
