This was a pleasant surprise! We actually see from the alphas pov a lot so we got to know why they did stuff as opposed to it being secretive as the blurb made me think. The Alphas were actually green flags, but the red flags did get revealed as time went by. I didn't feel it was that toxic tho (Chat, am I cooked?). It's spicy & fun, K was being hard to get but it isn't high angst. I wanted more from last ch & epilogue tho! I'm glad we'll see trio in series background. This was a good solo MMM starter!

Some of this goes way beyond dark romance, and veers into being downright horror for me. I was able to get past the bit where the alphas kill somebody for drugging their omega, and some of the spicy scenes were great. But the romanticising of them tying Koen to a bed and then forcible sucking him off was too much. I thought that some of the more toxic elements would be addressed when Koen discovered that Rhodes and Skylar had deliberately trashed his apartment. But when he rejected them and ran away their response was to sedate him, kidnap him, and tie him to another bed.
I had to skip over the part where they have sex altogether while the coach they are in the process of murdering is dying, because that was just too much of an ick.
The writing is good, and I read the whole book (apart from the sex-while-murdering scene) as I wanted to know how the story would unfold. But there is just too much non-consent, toxicity, and violence for this to work for me as a romance

Questionable morals crossed with utter devotion
I absolutely loved this story. It is full of hockey, MM action, morally grey to black activities, adorable animals and a man finally acknowledging his omega nature.
Koen is a very talented Omega hockey player. He is known as The Viking Captain as he throws himself into everything for his team to prove that designation and stature do not disqualify you. One coach told him years ago to give up or he would end up being a victim to the Alpha players and this always stayed with him.
Rhodes and Skylar are a couple who had been playing for a rival team until a random charity even had them crossing paths with their scent matched Omega....unfortunately he doesn't realize this due to the scent blocker he wears (gotta make sure not to become a victim). Good thing these guys were looking to be traded and knew exactly where to go.
Rhodes and Skylar have this fantastic Daddy and his Brat relationship going on and the way Koen fits into it is perfection. These two men will stop at nothing to ensure the safety if their Omega and weather or not it is legal doesn't really matter. Their process is absolutely unhinged in the best ways.
The spice in this is pleasure, punishment, and discovery all rolled into one. The big punishment scene was so freaking hot. The heat scene was done with on my their Omegas comfort and safety in mind.
Jenn brought these guys to life and fit all their dented and unhinged pieces together to create the most beautiful picture. I can't wait to see what's next.

I knew I was going to enjoy this book when I saw that was doing a hockey MMM book. I’m such a fan of MM+ books because they’re so good in my opinion. Besides, I’ve loved every single one of her books and have been addicted to her writing since I read Beg For It.
I felt for Koen is definitely one of the best omegas I have read in a hot minute. That prologue made me want to hug him because that little moment truly made his prospective of being on a hockey team truly changed. I was so happy that later in the book that Rhodes and Skylar gave him that revenge he needed.
First off, I love me a hot lingerie alpha and man, Rhodes takes the cake for that one. I knew he was going to be my favorite just from his first chapter.
These two alphas are so unhinged for their omega, who doesn’t even know he’s their scent matches because he puts a certain blocker under his nose to hide the smell of alphas. These two start by getting a trade to Koen’s team and heck, they even go as far as making his apartment flood. How convenient, boys!
This book is just so perfect. It has the right amount of unhinged crazy over the top alphas but then they have the cutest moments. They are so cute with their puppy. Magic Nugget gets changed to Princess Sunny, which fits her personality because she is wrapped around all of their fingers, especially Rhodes. Haha. He’s whipped.
When Koen finds out what these guys did, man, it was so emotional and well, if you know Jenn, she makes these guys so unhinged they are not letting their omega go without a fight! And ugh, the ending had me in my feelings for sure.
I cannot wait for the next book in this series because yes, please! I need more.

This MMM hockey omegaverse was absolutely delicious. Full of morally grey (and sometimes questionable) situations, I ate this up. The spice was definitely spicing the whole way through (which I loved- I'm definitely a fast burn girlie). In addition to being steamy, this was also angsty and emotional. Jenn Bullard always knows how to play with our emotions. Koen, Rhodes, and Skylar definitely stole my heart and I hope to see many cameos of them in future books!

"Dark Romance" my ass... There was no connection just a whole lot of sex and "kidnapping" but honestly wish there as a better plot no to mention the whole thing about how he was warned from the Coach and he made a big thing of it and then the poor couch got killed for looking out for the teenager.

This was pretty intense! If you love dark omegaverse romances and your alphas being ‘extra’ in every way: extra possessive, extra protective, extra… well, everything, you’ll love this! Rhodes and Skylar seem to dial everything up to extreme while trying to claim Koen, going in full guns a blazing; these psycho alphas do not do anything half-arsed! Honestly, Koen never stood a chance at keeping his distance from these two (say goodbye to your personal space, Koen!).
Going too far seems like an understatement for Rhodes and Skylar. And they have no qualms at all about handling things violently if there’s any sign of danger; any little slight against their omega sends them into hunting mode. Luckily, they have plenty of ropes and zip ties on hand for all their fave activities (yes, of course, I mean for spicy times too!).
Rhodes was my definite favourite. I loved how he’s so unapologetically himself: a 6ft6 alpha goalie who loves to primp so he can both look AND feel good and that he’s a massive brat. He’s a big, colourful personality, and I couldn’t get enough of his outrageousness.
Skylar will go to the ends of the earth to protect his alpha and his omega. He’s a daddy who loves to punish his two brats. I loved seeing the rarer softer side of Skylar after all the aggressive pursuing of Koen.
And Koen, well, he’s portrayed as a grump but it’s more to protect himself that anything else. Known as the ‘tattooed Viking’, I loved the role he plays on the hockey team, especially that he’s an omega captain. He pushes back initially due to his distrust of alphas, but I really respected the fact that he doesn’t want to lose himself and his freedom as part of a pack. He’s a fighter in his own way; feisty and obstinate, he’s definitely a “gremlin omega” as Skylar affectionately calls him.
I adored how supportive and loyal the team are of Koen – one of the few omegas in hockey – and how they look out for him in so many ways, even if he’s unaware. There’s some great detailed hockey scenes in this (not that I’m an expert being in the UK, but I enjoyed them).
As a dog mum of a golden retriever, I also very much appreciated the adorable puppy in this and loved how she brought out the softer sides of these alphas, who can, without a doubt, be incredibly OTT at times.
There’s some injections of humour in this that made me snort with laughter, as well as plenty of spice with degradation, praise and feminisation.
I don’t think I’ve read another omegaverse MM/MM+ hockey romance like this one.

The possessiveness between Rhodes and Skylar is top-tier. Their antics are brilliant—yes, they’re a bit devious, underhanded, and waving more than a few red flags—but they are just so scrummy! I’ve always had a soft spot for those unapologetic characters who go after exactly what they want without saying sorry for it. Their daddy/brat/sub dynamic is incredibly hot, and adding Koan to the pack only turned the heat up further.
My heart really went out to Koan. Between the pressure of his designation and the disgraceful things his coach said to him at such a young age, you really feel for his need to constantly prove himself, with the anxiety and trust issues he has within his beloved sport. Seeing him realize he actually has a wonderful found family within his hockey team was so touching and I loved how Rhodes and Skylar give Koan his power back.
This book is the perfect mix: I swooned, I laughed, and I definitely had to fan myself through the spicy bits. Skylar and Rhodes encapsulate everything I love—fun, loving, and highly protective with a wonderful side of crazy. I’m already buzzing for the next books in this series!

I loved this book! It’s another full M book by Jenn but this is the first one she publishes/writes on her own. Koen, Rhodes and Skylar stole my heart. The way they just support and accept each other through everything, sports, kinks, stalking… It had my heart singing and I just need more!
I really don’t go for sports books but I just couldn’t put this down. The game scenes had me hooked to the point of it making me want to get a ticket to the boy aquarium to watch one for myself. It’s infuriating how much Jenn makes me want to watch sports!
Anyhow, I would recommend this book to anyone and everyone who reads omegaverse, doesn’t matter if you’re a sports fan or not—though if you’re anything like me you’re likely to start looking at getting a ticket to one. I suppose that could be both good and bad. Either way, the book is worth the existential crisis.

I really don’t go for sports books but I just couldn’t put this down. The game scenes had me hooked to the point of it making me want to get a ticket to the boy aquarium to watch one for myself. It’s infuriating how much Jenn makes me want to watch sports!
Anyhow, I would recommend this book to anyone and everyone who reads omegaverse, doesn’t matter if you’re a sports fan or not—though if you’re anything like me you’re likely to start looking at getting a ticket to one. I suppose that could be both good and bad. Either way, the book is worth the existential crisis.

I came for the boy aquarium and stayed because Skylar and Rhodes tied me to their bed…..metaphorically of course.
I love a good hockey romance. Add in MMM and Omegaverse and I’m a very happy reader.
This book featured some amazing characters that were so unapologetically themselves. I loved that Koen’s Alphas were strong and dominant, but also soft and unique in ways that were new to me, though not new to the MM romance genre. I looooove a good manly corset, but my heart was unprepared for Rhodes in pretty panties. The dichotomy of a powerful Alpha in a lace thong fried my brain in a very good way. Koen, Skylar, and Rhodes were rich and interesting characters and I loved getting to watch the give and take of dominance between them.
If you are new to Jenn Bullard’s books, please know that the trigger warning list is not decorative. I have read and loved many if Jenn Bullard's books in the past, but I found this particular book hard to connect with. I loved the MMM hockey aspect of it and even tossing in the omegaverse theme gave it a unique flare. But what I could not wrap my head around was the purpose of having two of the three hockey player MMCs, regardless of them being alphas, so comfortable with eliminating and kidnapping people with no concern at all. Like I get both of them had a rough childhood but to make the story feel more realistic I would have loved to see more backstory as to WHY they were that way. Are all alphas in this world the same or just these two? Are the next books going to have characters with the same darkness? The darkness felt off with the baseline of the story. I get that it's fiction but without more of a backstory of the why, I felt like I was reading two different story themes forced into a single book. Some parts didn't seem relevant or complementary to the story overall, while other parts felt off and unrealistic. Professional hockey players able to just skip practices and games at random when they wanted to? Strange. With that said, I still LOOOOVE Jenn Bullard and will continue to read every one of her stories! This particular one just wasn't my cup of tea.

From beginning to end, the lengths these alphas will go to to claim and keep their omega are 🤌💋. The spice was on fire early on, and it didn't let up! There are moments throughout that hit you in a wide variety of feels. I am beyond excited to see who's story comes next!! I am really hoping for some silver fox Fishman! Now, I’m fairly new to the omegaverse but I really enjoyed it, the plot was great, fasted paced, the slow burn at first then straight to the heat and damn.. that was a really great written spice.
Love their dynamic the 2 alphas and the omega, one thing that I enjoyed is that Rhodes even tho he’s an alpha he has this submissive sexy, side and its freaking adorable and Koen if he’s not in heat he’s pretty dominant so it was great to see another side of the roles
Skylar and Rhodes relationship was everything the care, the respect for each other, the entire dynamic was great and when they find their scent match and they even switch hockey teams and bought a house with a hidden nest for Koen!!! that was freaking sweet even if they´re unhinged hahaha

They turn their lives upside down just to get close to him and when that doesn’t work they turn his life upside down for the chance.
The men are dynamic and have so many layers to them! It was so refreshing to see the different relationships and bonds shape between the men.
The spice was HOT HOT HOT!! It just kept coming!
And hello the ending?! I need another book for them PLEASE!!
I can’t wait for more in this series!!

A trip to the boy aquarium is always fun! Jenn's first solo MM book was an absolute smash! While not a super dark story there are dark themes and you should always check your triggers, your mental health matters. Koen is a very closed off omega, Rhodes is exuberant and, unapologetically himself, and Skylar is every bit the caretaker and Daddy that Rhodes calls him. On paper these men are straight shooters, good boy hockey players, and PR dreams. The reality is maybe a little different. I love the way Rhodes and Skylar worm their way into Koen's heart and life. I am one hundred percent a fan of the pack using 'accidents' to manipulate the omega into spending time with them under the guise of 'protection' or 'convenience'. Jenn always does a great job of making actions and reactions feel realistic and this book was no exception. I will be recommending this book to anyone looking for a fun new MM hockey romance with good plot and amazing spice.

Rhodes and Skylar are two of his rifles that see him and decide that is what they want for the rest of their life and the morally Gray awesome people they are they do everything they can to get them they uproot their lives and move to him and become part of his team and will the rest is in the book.
Of all the authors I get to read I have to say Jenn Bullard is probably one of my favorites maybe it's just cuz you know I enjoy that darker side and it's good to see that other people enjoyed it too and there's the boy aquarium cuz that's what everybody dreams of( well this one does at least )

This book was overall a really great read, especially if you’re into intense character dynamics and the whole omegaverse/hockey combo. The main character stood out right away…his drive, his edge on the ice, and the way he’s constantly battling both external expectations and his own fears made him really compelling. The “Viking Captain” persona versus his hidden identity added a lot of depth, and I appreciated how his strength and vulnerability were both explored.
That said, I did find myself getting lost in the storyline at times. There were moments where things felt a little unclear or like I was missing context that I was supposed to already understand. Even going back and rereading certain parts didn’t always clear it up, which pulled me out of the story more than I would have liked.
Still, the chemistry, tension, and emotional stakes kept me hooked, and I enjoyed the ride overall. Definitely worth the read, just be prepared for a few confusing spots along the way.

However Koen is resistant to being theirs, and the story follows the couple as they do everything possible to get Koen to realize he belongs with them.
I loved the dynamic between Skyler, Rhodes and Koen. It was a new take to start with a longstanding existing alpha couple (Skyler and Rhodes), and having them add the third to their relationship. Also really loved the light Daddy/BSDM themes throughout. Though Puck Them is labelled as a dark romance, personally I found it a bite more grey, but please do read the trigger warnings as everyone has different comfort levels with this type of story.
Overall a very strong start to what I'm confident will be a great series!

If you like your hockey romance on the darker side then this is the book for you, it’s dark and sinful with some sweet moments throughout. Rhodes & Skylar are two alphas who will stop at nothing to get their scent match to give them a shot. Koen is an omega who is determined he doesn’t need anyone and is especially sure he doesn’t want the two alphas who join his team. I loved that Koen wasn’t an omega who was small and relied on alphas to fight his battles but I did love when he started allowing Rhodes & Skylar to see who he really is and help him win his battles. I loved that Rhodes is unapologetically himself and won’t let anyone bring him down. Skylar gives serious “Daddy” vibes and loves to show his affection by taking care of those he loves. Such a great read!

Dark Omegaverse?MM!! Yes please!! When I received the ARC I can’t tell you how excited I got. The story of Kohen, Skylar, and Rhodes to me was about finding your safety and belonging with persons even when they might not be deemed safe by the world. The way they went about things might not have been the most conventional one, but I agree with Skyler when he says at least it got things done. The way that Kohen was so closed off and scared because of his past made Skylar and Rhodes even more perfect for each other. Skylar was my favorite one he had the DADDY vibe and he would take charge without being overbearing to me. Rhodes despite being big and intimidating was a marshmallow for Kohen and that was everything!! I give this book 5⭐️ and 4🌶️❤️

Great read!!! Definitely not as dark as most of Jenn’s books but definitely has some dark themes and some content that some readers may be sensitive to so be sure to check the TWs.
This was deliciously spicy, a bit red flaggish (in the best ways)…. Ok a lot 🚩 and had some really funny moments. Well written and hard to put down. These Alphas will do anything to get the attention of their Omega and keep him….
No cheating, no OMD, tried to leave but failed… so no breakup 😏 with HFN…. Because we’ll be seeing more of this pack in future books in this new series!! Can’t wait for more!!!!

A new series from Jenn Bullard and to say I've been excited about this would be such a massive understatement.
Jenn has combined some of my favourites to read in a way that only she can.
When you're the captain of your ice hockey team, respected by the team and known for getting into fights and also an omega the last thing you want is to suddenly fin yourself the object of you new team mates obsession.
Rhodes and Skylar recognise Koen as their scent match immediately and move heaven and earth to be with him. They do however have a very unusual idea of how to court him and form a relationship.
You really are not ready for this story so I suggest you just jump in and enjoy.

I really enjoyed this! Koen is such a strong stubborn type, who didn't let being an omega hold him back in his career, but the fear of what could happen to him because of it played such a role that he didn't get close to anyone. Then Rhodes and Skylar came into the picture and took a damn wrecking ball to his entire life! These two alphas know zero boundaries and have no problems getting their hands dirty ( they enjoy it actually 😂)
The story moves quickly and is so engaging! I was just waiting for the blow up and how Rhodes and Skylar would handle it!
